Does anyone know if the Bad Tour was ever captured on Film? Of course all the shows were recorded on video but was it done on film. I ask this because if it was recorded on film the tour can be released in High Definition on Blu Ray, if not we'll likely only get a DVD quality release.
Film has a great deal of resolution and can withstand or keep up with increases in standard videos qualities say from VHS to DVD to Blue Ray and so on. That's why film is still used because of the resolution quality.
If the tour was captured on film I think it would be fit for its own HBO special and side documentary in addition to it being released on Blu Ray.
