Charlie Sheen - The Downfall/Comeback

I'm sure a lot of you have heard about what's going on with Charlie Sheen.
Alcohol, Cocaine, 36 hour parties, pornstars, hookers, trashing hotels.
Trashing producers of his show, his publicist, complaining because his show got cancelled.

I really think this is the beginning of the end for him.

He is also being used by media outlets with interviews everywhere and he's being offered even more.

He is 45 years old, we've seen this happen before and it isn't too late for Charlie to recover but will he do it before it's too late?

Wierdly obsess with his saga, and rooting for him. Despise how the media is using him.

He's apparently making 'outrageous demands' for work he didn't do on CBS. I don't know if that's true, since I don't follow the saga, but that's the last I heard regarding him.

Yeah he's pretty much lost it. I've been following from the early stages last year and it's got worse and worse.

It reminds me of Gary Coleman. He had a lot of seizures in early 2010, outbursts on TV, in and out of jail for domestic violence and even Gary slammed the creators/producers of his show. However, I don't think Gary went crazy. The media taunted him to get a reaction that they wanted (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixiMFvlymyA). This all happened in January/February 2010. Throughout March there were numerous death rumours about Gary on Twitter. So on May 28th when I saw about Gary Coleman's death on Twitter, I didn't believe it. I was wrong. (Gary's death was due to a fall, unrelated but I think these event had a part in the death).

I don't want this to happen to Charlie but his actions are a lot more crazy and reckless than Gary Coleman. I really hope he can fix this before it's too late.

I don't watch his show, but I like Charlie Sheen.

It appears, to ME, that he is having some sort of mental breakdown. I saw a clip of one of his many interviews over the last few days, and he doesn't sound coherent to me.

The first thing he needs to do, in my opinion, is STOP giving out interviews, until he gets his head straight.

Going on television with his TWO girlfriends and his very young twin sons, is not a good look for him, in my opinion. It's just more fodder for the meda.

Where are Charlie's friends and family? What is Martin and Emilio doing to help their son/brother? It's obvious Charlie is having some sort of a breakdown. I saw him on tv and he looks so old and ragged. He didn't blink his eyes one time. Something is very wrong and his family and friends are just allowing him to fall apart publicly big time.

Martin and one of his brothers (can't remember which one) have tried to help him but he said,
"I'm a 45 year old man, they're not living in my head, only I am." (Written from memory).

So basically they've tried to help but Charlie pushed them away.

The drastic aging in only a few years is terrifying. He looks like he's aged over a decade in only about five years. I don't really know what to say, but what does he expect to get out of his current lifestyle? It's obvious he's not going to last very long if he keeps it up, perhaps he doesn't care? He's a creature to be pitied, as he's squandering his talent and pretty much destroying his career, like Lindsay Lohan did. He won't be able to get acting jobs if he keeps up the strange image, and that will of course only serve as more fuel for despair of this sort. He needs to come back to reality and realize that he's going to die unless he does something to correct himself. Yeah, he's a 45 year old man...who's acting like an immature teenager. Unfortunately, being a legal adult, there's nothing his family can do to stop him.

In all fairness, He's at an event in the first and probably had make up on ect put i just watched this interview, the drugs have clealry had a terrible affect

But ozzy osbourne done cocaine for 45 years and he's still kicking it, Infact he doens't appear to have aged that badly at all, It's all DNA and genes

He seems to be the exception to the rule. In any case, Herr Osbourne, in his earlier years, wasn't really someone to be admired, and we have yet to see the next forty years of his life and the repercussions all that abuse has yet to do to him. He's drug-free now, though.

That's true, Mikage, sadly. ..

Woah he has changed a lot in appearance just since 2009.

I wish him the best.

I do think what he does in his personal life.. porn stars & parties, is up to him. Why should we tell him how to live his life?

I don't know what's going on, but apparently he is clean.. he has drug tests at interviews & has the results with him.. *shrug*

This is a comment from under one newspaper article explaining why Charlie got angry..

Missing from all these "let's mock Charlie Sheen" reports is a serious point he made, and made in writing. This was shown on camera. It was that the show's writer-producer Lorre had announced to the production unit before the recent blow-up that he could not meet his contractual obligation to write a further eight programmes for the current series, and instead, was planning to write only four. As well, Sheen charges, even before those planned further programmes, the production unit had caught up with all the scripts completed. .

If there's weight to these charges, then Sheen, who's paid on a fee-for-episode basis, has reasonable and actionable grounds for complaint. So also would the claimed 120 other staff of the production unit, whose earnings for the current season have been curtailed.

Having seen both these Los Angeles television interviews, I believe that everything Sheen says makes sense, although I have no ground to consider them either just or unjust. His language is of course hyperbolic, but that suggests more the culture in which he has worked for many years than mental deficiency. He's very clear about the questions oput to him, responds appropriately to most, and from time to time -- as reported in the story above -- questions whether some of these answders have been appropriate. As any intelligent person does.

What we seem to be seeing at the moment is that fine old thing, a movie business contract dispute. Gutless LA television reporters, alas, failed to nail Sheen on the very sensible question "What happened in that New York hotel room a few weeks back?" One posed the question but timidly failed to protest the lack of reply. We know of course, thatc whatever happened there, CBS did not see as justifying cancellation of the series.

NBC and ABC plan to make a real meal of the Sheen TV interviews, which are to be broadcast over some days. Obviously a major audience builder.
He got a twitter yesterday (yeh it's verified).. http://twitter.com/#!/charliesheen

Maybe he isn't as crazy as people are tryin to make out, ha -

I know we hate TMZ...but this was just too priceless NOT to post...

TMZ said:
Charlie Sheen Offends The Warlocks
3/2/2011 11:55 AM PST by TMZ Staff

A coven of real-life warlocks are BOILING at Charlie Sheen -- claiming the actor's constant use of the W-word is disrespectful to the entire male-witch community ... TMZ has learned.

After Sheen declared himself a "Vatican assassin warlock" during a radio interview last week ... an actual, practicing warlock from Salem's Coven of the Raven Moon in Salem, Massachusetts told us he's "fuming" over the statement because it's a "blatant offense against our ways."

The warlock -- named Christian Day (pictured above) -- tells us he plans to take action against the actor ... not legal action -- but magical action.

Day explains, "I am going to magically bind Mr. Sheen, not to harm him, but to simply prevent him from using this word in such a negative manner in the future."

Day continues, "If Mr. Sheen is open to it, our coven would be willing to perform a cleansing on both him, his home, and his career."

So far, no word if Charlie will accept the offer.

LOL!!!!

Charlie took drug tests during that ABC interview. They came back as negative. Could it be possible Charlie is acting to get a few interviews (he has no job) or has he just gone off the rails?

I read his tweet about Nancy Grace in the newspaper the other day and it made me laugh. Even though I'm having Charlie Sheen fatigue right now I have to say he is pretty entertaining. I just hope he doesn't hurt himself or anyone else.

Is it just me or is The Charlie Sheen Show a lot more entertaining than Two And A Half Men?

On Two And A Half Men Charlie Sheen is pretty much just playing himself. Only difference is that in real life he's more hardcore

Slightly off topic, but never understood the hype with "Two And A Half Men", one of the worst, unnatural, tasteless comedy sitcoms ever, with some of the worst actors ever playing in it, Charlie Sheen being the first on the list (referring to his role in this TV series). Ever, in my opinion..

Yeah, I caught it today & yeah he was amusing at times but he acts as if he's better than everyone else. That will work against him.

I watched the Piers Morgan interview...I found him hilarious i gotta say lol

OMG hahahah that is classic of what he said bout nancy grace

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, which is fine but i disagree it's my favourite show, It's full of funny moments unlike most 1 or 2 laugh shows, It's totallly brilliant heck it's one if not the most viewed show on TV

That is true, it is immensely successful, and Sheen has a certain magnetism about him.
