Well after reading all that and signing up anyway just so I could rate the news about bet, they say I have not confirmed via my e-mail (I did) and if I try to reregister they say I am already a member of the site.:huh: I think sometimes that computers all go and snicker about us during their coffee breaks. :mad:

The same thing happened to meguys, and I tried with two different names and two different accounts. I'm not sure but I think I got an e-mail confirmation with a link to accept when I signed up to receive e-mail updates from them but not an e-mail for registering. When I tried registering the second time I got nothing. I suspect both hotmail and my university account rejected their e-mail. I even checked my spam folders and there is nothing.

I wish there was a way to get through to them so they know what is happening. It seems similar the the problem we had with MJJF after they switched sites. We weren't able to use hotmail at all and for my university account I had to add MJJF e-mail as a contact. I can't do that with the Sony site because I don't know what it is.

What internet browser are you using? It worked fine for me in Safari. I also tried it in Firefox, Opera and Camino to see if it was a browser problem. All worked fine except I didn't get up to the stage where they say they'll send a confirmation email to you because I didn't want to create more than one account. The only browser I haven't tried is Internet Explorer. But that would mean restarting my computer in Windows Vista and I can be bothered right now. If your using Safari, Firefox, Opera or Camino, it's not a browser problem.

I had a similar problem with MJJF when hotmail changed to their new version. I suspect our mail boxes are rejecting Sony's e-mail. When it happened to me with MJJF it didn't go to the spam folder even. It was just completely blocked and they would not do anything about it. I finally got my university account to accept instead it by putting MJJF's e-mail address as a contact but I don't know what the address for Sony is to do the same with that.

I do think it is a better sound than what was on the earlier versions on the net but I expect that will be true of TGIM as well. I don't dislike WBSS, I just like TGIM much more. Oh well, I WILL get it eventually.

I have that same question. I also have never bought a download before and if it was only on i-tunes I would be a little leary of buying it from there after some of the comment I've heard here about i-tunes.

I haven't explored the site much. But all that happened to me was I got a profile and I was allowed to submit reviews. I don't notice any other extra privileges.

I emailed the website moderator for superstar media a few days ago and told him that several people hadn't received their confirmation email...and he emailed me a day later to say that he'd authorized lots of accounts that day, so if you haven't got your confirmation email by now, i would try to register one more time.

So far, I received an email today telling me that WBSS was on release and that there was more to come soon.
