I love this :D From now on when I want to take a trip somewhere, I'll come visit this thread. Lorraine I didn't really know what it looked like (though I have probably seen photos before). I'm so glad you guys are adding to this. Thank you for the compliment on my old house (well...still a young house but..ya know what I mean) I'd post my house now but I would feel funny about it for some reason.

I love that beach and the library too. Can you go in the library or is it private? What a beautiful place to read.

The Nixon Library is a memorial slash monument slash museum all about Richard Nixon. He and his wife, Patricia, are buried on the premises. He grew up in the area. And even though it is right around the corner from me, I have never been.

Wow, thank you. I'm going to post some of the various bronze statues around my old city Red Deer. I believe they call them the Ghosts of Red Deer. In this picture you can see Rod Laver Arena (which is where the Australian Open Tennis is played and a lot of rock concerts are held here also). The river is the Yarra River and runs right through Melbourne's CBD :)

This photo is taken on one of the bridges that cross the Yarra. The view is directed towards Flinders St Station, a beautiful old Rail station :)
On the bridge to the left side are big walls of glass.... each glass piece represents a country in the world.... it has a world map with that country shaded in and lists the different amounts of people who migrated to Melbourne from that country. This is my town's train station. It is no longer in use now. Ever since I could remember. The only trains that has ever run through my town were all freight trains. They stopped with the passenger type trains sometime back in the 70s.

This is John Potts home. He was the founder of my town back in 1752-1753. It was originally called Pottsgrove. Pottsgrove now borders Pottstown. I live either near or on the border of Pottstown and Pottsgrove.

This is my dreaded town's hospital. I say dreaded because about 10 years ago this was consider to be one of the worst hospitals in the country. I think it might still be like that now. And I still think either my grandmother's doctor or some of the nurses in that hospital is responsible for her death. Because my grandmother was doing really good 12 days before. Then 12 days later she had died on January 6th 2001. Which is why I had taken Michael's death as hard as I did. His death still has a major effect on me. And it always forever will too.

I used to live in this house until I was 15 years old. That is my late grandparents house. That house is really old built back in 1833. I live like 10 to 15 minutes away from this house now. I was born in Trenton, New Jersey. I grew up and currently live several miles away in Hamilton. I'm less than an hour away from Philadelphia and a little more than an hour from New York City.

This is the "Trenton Makes" Bridge, named for the fact that Trenton used to be a big industrial city. It runs over the Delaware River and connects Trenton to Morrisville, Pennsylvania. I go over this bridge often.
