She speaks with so much strength and faith and this is so exciting. Well, this topic is at a spiritual and inspired me to write something on Wednesday night and decided to post here. It is a mixture of some passages of the Bible with negative things that usually when we talk at some point difficult. You claim something and God answered and the answer is in the Bible. I was thinking very much in God after reading all the posts here and was the inspiration to write something. Linda I am glad you read this in time. I hope you are feeling better now. And remember that God is always on our side, He never leaves us alone. Sometimes we must go through difficult times, God is testing us all the time. But it is only through difficulties and problems will be stronger to face more storms in our lives. Just as we grow. :yes::angel:

Joyce Meyer has an amazing ministry for women, doesn't she? She speaks everywhere at conferences all across the states and is helping us gals mature in our walk with God. She is a straight-shooter. But she has a lot of godly wisdom. My close friend absolutley loves her and has shared with me some of
Joyce's messages on CD. Good stuff.

This song is beautiful. She looks like a prayer to God and even a warning to the world and to people that we must look to the next and the problems of the world and do something or try to change. Even if it is something small or large individuals can give their help and make a difference, no matter if it is large or small. But unfortunately most people do not think so. It is like this: "Why I help the other if I have problems and nobody helps me? Why waste my time with the problems of others? What do I gain by that?" I know many people who think so. You can not win anything, but God is watching the good deed you did to help and worry about the next. This is an act of love and that is what God has done, he helped those who needed. Want to know what they did? They grew up together, playing music. They were together before they "hit it big". They are both musicians, they share a very special bond there. They know each other very well, they have a deep spiritual and emotional connection that has lasted a very long time.

Personally, I think any great relationship involves trust and love. Trust that the other person loves you for you. Loving that person requires trusting them implicitly.

They met each other as teenagers & married young so I think one of the things they did was grow with each other & share the same sense of humor about things. I saw a docu. on them a few months ago & I just wished it was longer than an hour as they are truly fascinating as well as talented. Also they made sure they kept romance in their relationship for sure. They will stay young.

Want to know what they did? They grew up together, playing music. They were together before they "hit it big". They are both musicians, they share a very special bond there. They know each other very well, they have a deep spiritual and emotional connection that has lasted a very long time.

Personally, I think any great relationship involves trust and love. Trust that the other person loves you for you. Loving that person requires trusting them implicitly.

I've been out for a couple of days and got a little lost on the subject. You're all very creative and imagination flows fast around here! The subjects keep changing and it's a little hard to catch up if you stay out. But I'll try to do it.

After reading some posts, one has caught my attention: MP's question about the possibility of having success both in love and business..

I would say yes, it's possible. Maybe a little hard, but possible. The point and the key for it is balance. If you live with balance, if you're able to share your dedication amongst all the aspects of your life, you'll have sucess in all of them.

For Michael, it could be a bit harder, because he is a very sucessful man and this brings a lot of issues. There's all the jealous and the envy, the people with disguised agendas, all the time he has to spent rehearsing and creating his art. But again I say: it's all about balance.

Michael would have to be able to balance his trust, meaning that he would have to choose carefully the woman he would share his life with. I think he has learned this lesson... unfortunately, with a lot of pain.

And he would have to balance his time too. He would have to find some time to spend with her, to dedicate to her. And this woman would have to be comprehensive, to understand that his job demands a lot of time.

But I guess that true love makes anything possible...

They spent the rest of the evening creating little boats and following them down the stream to see where they would end up, often times into the hands of one of a number of youngsters who had gathered at the pooled water downstream. The same one that the little girl had been at before. As the sky filled with the colours of her dress, it filled as well with their laughter and voices. They talked about everything, and nothing all at once. Both the maiden and the King had smiles from deep down inside of them radiating outwards. So much so that they seemed to create their own light as dusk fell upon them.

The King found himself bursting in happiness and absolutely glowing like he hadn't done in years, if ever. He felt like a child again filled with glee and his whole body couldn't help but break into dance every now and then, jumping up onto a water fountain and swinging round a lamp pole. He was free, and the maiden understood and felt the same. She loved his company too.

She didn't want to leave, though she knew she couldn't stay all night. Darkness pushed out the sunset and replaced it with a star studded story sprinkled in the ebony air with just a touch of magenta holding on.

He pointed out Cassiopeia and told the story the vain Queen. The Lady in the Chair, who for her boastfulness had to be chained to her throne and set in the sky to circle the north star, where she spends much of her time upside down in a most undignified position in the sky to make reparation for her boastful nature and to serve as a warning to all. He also mentioned that she is known as the Celestial “W” and the Celestial “M” which King Michael took a measure of pride in, though not too much as he knew from Queen Cassiopeia's story the dangers of too much pride.

It was getting chilly and the King, while walking with his head upwards towards the sky, found himself alone in the field. As the last bit of magenta vanished from the sky, so had she. She must have drifted away from him while they both walked in darkness while gazing at the stars. He went to call out for her but then realized he didn't yet know this maiden's name. So he called out “HELLO”.

“HELLO, Where did you GO?”

But there was no answer. So the King retired to his castle alone after concluding that she must have gone back to where she came from. He chastised himself along the walk back, for having his head in the clouds, not to watch over her and see that she'd return home safely. Most of all he wished he knew where she went to so he could find her again as he was somehow certain of her safety. She had that air about her that she could take care of herself and would be fine regardless of what happened or who she was with. King Michael could actually sense a flock of angel's around while he walked with her. He was sure of it, and nothing could protect her better than angels, not even himself.



King Michael sat at his writing desk, bursting forth with emotion that he felt he must transcribe from heart to parchment. What could he say. What could he tell her to show her who he is inside? He started to write, scribbled some out, then wrote again.

After a mound of parchment cluttered his drawing room floor and threatened to bury his cat, he sat back in his chair and let himself experience his memories of the time spent with her that night. Then opened his mouth and sang words that flowed as freely as her dress in the midnight air.

When this maiden came into his life, he was at his peak. He was king of the land, and many beautiful maidens fought to get close to him. However, his heart was still with one that he dreamt of...one that was so special, he could picture her in his mind.

The maiden brought to life all that he ever really truly wanted in this world. She was a beautiful, humble, yet ethereal commoner that touched his heart uniquely. She played at the strings of his heart effortlessly...without knowing it.

She was the one he dreamt of constantly! However, being the King - he had this fear of success. He was so successful in one area of his life, he didn't feel like he deserved being successful in the most important aspect of his life, his heart. So he tried to keep his feelings at bay about her....he didn't feel that he deserved to be successful in both business and love. It just didn't happen. Every time he felt truly happy before, someone was bound to knock that down a few pegs. He didn't want to feel that abject sadness again.....he was afraid of losing himself in the feelings he had for her...

When you find a video you like, you need to copy the "embed" code under the description of the video, then paste it in here.....if it says "Embedding disabled", search for another version of that video with the embedding code in it...good Luck!

1.) Find a video with embed code.
2.) Click on that line with the embed code in it...right click then select "Select All"
3.) Right Click again and "Copy"
4.) Come on this site, type a reply in here, then right click and "Paste".

I had been quoting someone who had embedded theirs, then changing to html and copying what they wrote for it to embed, then I'd figure out which part of the video I wanted had to be replaced...etc.etc. It worked but took forever.

Oh wow Ape...you were doing this the hard way!! You can actually use these instructions on other sites that have videos....if they provide you with complete embed code also...

It is my understanding that even though Givenchy designs clothing for men this particular t-shirt/top was not one of them. Thus, the symbol would relate to the gender it was created for.

About three years ago I was hanging online with a lot of "bored" *laughs* but very clever and creative young people due to a site I was involved with, and one of these kids was showing me what all he could make a stick figure do through a program called, "Pivot." So at the time I downloaded it to mess around with it myself, and it's just been sitting on my computer all this time. But Love.him's post made me think of it...and I found it and whipped up quickly that little anmation. -_-

This thread has always gone in different directions. I guess it's kinda unpredictable much like our guy!! LOL Hey, ya just never know what he's gonna do next and THAT is what makes him so FUN!! LOL

A couple of other reasons why I haven't been in the thread much lately is because my sons are teens and school is close to ending for the summer. I've been getting them both ready for the next phase of learning; things they are going to be doing over the summer break; running around trying to find a nice corsage for my oldest son's date that he took to his school's junior prom/senior ball; was busy looking for and reserving a town car with a driver so my oldest sons' father and I wouldn't have to transport our oldest son to and from the dance. Hey, we wouldn't want to put salt in our son's game! lol Gotta allow him to arrive like prince charming so her parents can have fun too when they see their daughter getting picked up for her night out!! Was getting my youngest all set up for his school's trips to the movies and zoo. These things happened back-to-back and over lapped with the things that were going on with his brother and I ended up going to the zoo on short notice. The trip to the zoo happend on the exact same day as my other son's prom/senior ball! LOL Annnnd, I've been getting the oldest one ready for his first year in college in addition to getting the youngest one ready to go to an art/technology school.

In addition to all of this, I was on the main forum in the discussion about the AllGood Entertainment stuff. Hey, gotta keep up with Mr. Mike too! He's THE MAN with his FINE self!! :wub: Annnnd I'm still trying to look at the gorgeous pictures of him that were posted yesterday! LOL

Plus, I'm trying to go to the movies today to see Tom Hank's new flick! It looks like it is going to be OFF THE HOOK!!! Tom Hank's went to high school in Oakland. Gotta see Tom's movies!!! It's a must!!

Buuuuut, before I leave MJJC today, to check out Tom's new flick, I gotta check out Mike's new pix!!

Yes, I also believe that nobody in it, but I think this was kept secret to preserve that great love, because only then it could work. And as you said they are connected physically and spiritually in tune so strong. I think the "love mystery" would be a sort of female version of Michael Jackson. A person who thinks and feels things as him so I think they are intensely connected to each other, to realize that love is only missing the great meeting of these two hearts.

Hey, Ape, you posted this before I got a chance to add something to my previous post that I forgot to add. I was going to add that along with "circumstances" (on both sides), I think it is also about timing - God's perfect timing. "She" may have even been thinking this way. She may have figured that if they were really meant to be together like she suspected in her heart, then God would bring them together and in His own time. She may have thought letting it happen this way would confirm her feelings to be true rather than trying to "force" something to happen that she was unsure was even supposed to happen. She may have needed this confirmation of her feelings.

Even though we all have our own time table for things to happen in our lives, I think we forget that God has His own time table and ours may not always coincide with His. However, He knows things that we don't and there are reasons for everything He does and He may not do things early, or when we want Him to, but He is never late either. He is always right on time. His timing for things in our lives is always perfect.

(I was gonna add this the other night, and I know some of you have already talked about timing, but I guess that just "confirms" that I was supposed to write about it!)

Yes, funny you wrote this. I was just thinking that what I wrote was probably kind of confusing, but this is what I meant when I said I believe it's a combination of both circumstances and God's timing.

I think God looks at all circumstances involved like people's mistakes, the devil's attacks, etc. and tabulates a timing taking all of these things into consideration, because like you said, we do have a free will and we are going to use it sometimes and make mistakes with it and everything, and the people around us are going to make mistakes, and the devil's gonna get in there somewhere, and then there are the things that happen to us for no other reason than just because we live in an imperfect world, etc. I think God allows these things to happen - including our mistakes, because He thinks these experiences will make us better people somehow, but all these experiences take time to get through and then when we place it in His hands He has to "clean house" so to speak, and when two people are involved, He's gotta clean his house and He's gotta clean her house and this also takes more time and He's gotta take all these things into consideration when coming up with His "perfect" time.

Whew! It could take two people a while to come together, even though I'm sure they would not want to wait any time at all, but God wants things to be perfect.

I feel that what MP said about "her" trusting in God's way rather than making sure that too much of her own volition comes into play makes a lot of sense as far as "her" being certain that it is God's will and not "hers" and therefore would want to trust His Divine timing.

I also understand what you're saying. I feel that distractions and mistakes come into play when looking at the aspect of "fault" - whether his or "hers".

I tend to believe that if we're going back as far back as the song of this thread title suggests, it may have been a matter of readiness on both their parts as well due to youth, allowing for more vulnerability to being 'distracted' as you say, by things that may have 'seemed' important at the time but weren't, to either him, or "her". Maturity seems to have a way of adjusting a person's focus onto what is truly important.

I believe it was determined that they aren't together by the songs - I guess starting with OMC which speaks for itself, then Fall Again also, The Way You Love Me where he repeats, "you'll see", - For All Time is in future tense, "I'll be" (your shoulder), Hold My Hand "tell me what we're waiting for" - - actually I believe its the sentiments from HMH that has everyone of that 'understanding' if I'm not mistaken.

Actually, Ape, you were one of the people I especially had in mind when I prayed that prayer. You know, I just have to say something: I am so sorry for everything that has happened over these concerts - how heartbreaking. My heart has really been aching for you guys, I couldn't even sleep right.

I have to confess, among my friends, that I had already been a little heartbroken myself because I was not able to go at all. Actually, this has all been a little hard on me. I guess I'm not someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, I tend to keep my feelings in a lot - I was taught you need to keep your feelings to yourself because nobody cares about your problems and whatever happens in your life, just buck up and be strong (who was the brilliant person who came up with that, lol?), I've secretly had such mixed feelings about all this, but I was happy seeing everyone else so happy. But this is not about me (sorry I went off on that little side trip). Fortunately, God is in the business of healing broken hearts; only He can do it really.

I pray that you and everyone else who has been affected will end up with an extra-special blessing. I pray that you will not be forgotten and that things will work out even better for you all in the end than if this had never happened. You all deserve that! We already know that all things work together for good for those who love God, which I know you do (love Him). This has been one of those moments that I've had to remind myself, once again, what I had said earlier, and that is: "Even though we don't understand it, the Father does all things well." I think this would serve as a good example of one of those times, lol!

Well, thank you all for letting me blubber on and on. We will now be returning to our regularly scheduled program ... (lol!)

p.s. I was thinking about you too, Linda, but not because you remind me of Mary Magdelene (although she did have some pretty good qualities as someone mentioned earlier, and if we're all being honest with ourselves, I think we all have to admit that we've lusted in our hearts at some point. Thank you so much for your prayers and caring right now guys. I know that I am not the only one hurting. I have learned lately in my life that some people really do care to hear how I am feeling. Some never will...but those that do care, really do matter to me. So thank you.

I'm not even as concerned about the concert as some other things to do with that trip. There are other reasons I am feeling this way not to do with the concert, but sort of do..well do with the trip.

Anyways, you are all right about trusting God to make things right and well. I have to stop getting in my own way. Let Him lift me to carry when I only stumble over my own feet at times.

Now.. I may not know all about love and romance and lasting relationships, as I am single..but I do know that there can be fear in love.. a fear of losing those you love. A mother who sends her children off to do something on their own for the first time knows this fear. A lover who has an argument knows the fear of the possibility of losing who they love if they don't make amends..

Also sometimes a person does have to fight for a love. Despite it being right or from God, there are times we have to fight to protect that love. From outside sources or from our own human frailties.

It doesn't always, and actually doesn't USUALLY come without it's own struggle. Even those you fully trust and know purely and completely and unconditionally selflessly love you. There will be struggles at times.

I'm not even sure Heaven will be free from all sorrow. Would it when we are made in His image and have sorrow here? It is as much a real and valid emotion as any.

As a lively participant in this discussion of late, I feel I should say I've apparantly been 'out of touch' with other things going on, as my time is limited these days so if I seem insensitive to the tone of what y'all are dealing with its due to dealing with my own things, daily. And since I'm not scheduled to be at the concert ... just hadn't paid attention.

I don't know if what I'm about to say applies to whatever the '02 situation is, but this morning I was reminded that the very next phase after any type of a major "breakdown" is a corresponding (in magnitude) major "breakthrough" which hopefully applies to all you all are dealing with as well as myself.

About lust, lol, indeed, I agree, all humans are subject to the things that, as Shakespeare said, "that flesh is heir to". Twelve step programs call it the 'drug of choice'. When it comes to lust, it seems to translate as, the 'sin of choice' whatever a person's proclivity is I guess. I call it the 'it' that gets a hold of us, until we kill 'it' with God's Spirit ... or let 'it' die of starvation which may be our biggest challenge sometimes.

I have to go off now and gather up some water for another 'fire' that is smoldering in my life, (I guess 'when it rains it pours could be a good thing)

I know I have no right to complain with the troubles others are facing. My troubles are very small compared to some, but somehow we manage to make it through tough times. It was recently found out that a young child was murdered in Canada. I can't imagine that heartbreak and never want to. This all seems pretty minuscule compared to that. SOS :hug:

Which the audience all saw, and they laughed at it, so it all went fine. That was the first (and only) time I broke that stage audience barrier.. where they see we are human and not on a TV and it is live... I broke character. The rest I was fine, just that one moment. I think it added though, instead of detracting, because it really was funny, and then we all went right back into it.

I am sure he would have just kept on like nothing happened...but it would be hard not to laugh at himself and the situation there.

I guess its a good feeling for both parts to have a little thing like this together. It makes the atmosphere a little more free and "lovely".

I try to be in Michaels place. If I where famous and 1000000000 guys outthere where drooling about my body and some of them where totally in love with my personality aswell, then I would feel really odd about involving with them. I can't explain why because most of them would probably be nice persons, but it's maybe the fact that you need someone that gives you some "opposing". Also in a friend. For example: I believe that one of the reasons that Mac and Michael clicked so well where because of Mac's casuality to Michael. He did'nt adore everything that Michael did and he was'nt really a fan of he's music. (he might have thought that Michael was a cool person that he looked up too though, but thats another thing.)

I'm not saying that a "fan" coud never be a part of Michaels life. But it would require that they met as equal people in some way.

I also agree with you! Most fans cry, shout and speak fifty thousand "I love you" to Michael. When you have such an opportunity (to be near him, to see it up close) can not be let out of the hands. I know he is a celebrity, but you must control that I think it scared him. And I am so scared when I see scenes of hysterical fans. And we know that is crazy fans that make any kind of crazy to get close to the artist. When that point, I think that has passed the limits and become an invasion of privacy. The thing has to be natural, treat it like a normal person and not as a celebrity. If I had such an opportunity (of course I would be nervous), I make the most of the time to talk to him, saying how much I love your art, how much I admire as a human being and artist. And I think that should be: to act naturally, forget that he is a speed, then it is a human being like us. :)

I also agree with you! Most fans cry, shout and speak fifty thousand "I love you" to Michael. When you have such an opportunity (to be near him, to see it up close) can not be let out of the hands. I know he is a celebrity, but you must control that I think it scared him. And I am so scared when I see scenes of hysterical fans. And we know that is crazy fans that make any kind of crazy to get close to the artist. When that point, I think that has passed the limits and become an invasion of privacy. The thing has to be natural, treat it like a normal person and not as a celebrity. If I had such an opportunity (of course I would be nervous), I make the most of the time to talk to him, saying how much I love your art, how much I admire as a human being and artist. And I think that should be: to act naturally, forget that he is a speed, then it is a human being like us. :)

Sometimes I am thinking what Michael does when you see scenes like these: people screaming, crying, running behind his car, was playing on top of the car, the crazy fans that are to come near him, a total mess and all these things. That should scare a little. I understand and I know that is normal this kind of reaction. He is a celebrity, just see it on TV and so it becomes an untouchable person and think: "it is impossible to get near him" and when suddenly appears out of nothing "a chance" react this way: a person can not open the mouth to speak nothing, only fifty thousand "I love you" (lol!), crying... and lose a great opportunity to talk with the man! I say this for I am a quiet person and does not react that way, but I understand perfectly the same reaction: How exciting! If I had the great opportunity I would enforce the penalty that very moment... Ultimately this kind of thing does not happen every day, just for those who have the "luck".

Thats EXACTLY how I see it. I don't do all that crazy stuff either. I would NEVER say "I love you". Seriously.. I'm also a quiet person (though not when I see something as funny as my signature - :hysterical: ......sorry..). the most "fan-girlish" thing that I would do was to touch he's hand if he held it out the window of the car like he sometimes do. Not like grab it but just to touch a finger or something. Even THAT I think is crazy..

But all I think that this being a fan is such an unrealistic thing..
If it where our teacher, our best friend or something like that - we could just shake their hand and give them a hug and tell them how much we appreciate what they do. But with a famous person you can't do that. So the need to appreciate him grows bigger all the time.
+ the fact that we only see an "image" of a living person. We never see the human sites of Michael. We don't see when he's mad at someone. Or when he's acting unfair. We never have a discussion with him and think "oh I dont agree with that!!". We never have these normal "negative" relations to him that we have to everyone else in our "real" lives.

I think that is why AllForMJ's personal story has been so interesting and enjoyable for us, for she was a fan who was lucky enough to have an encounter with an "Off the Wall" era MJ, and remained composed and considerate towards him throughout, in order to make him feel comfortable and unthreatened...and somewhat relaxed. She stayed level-headed and this is admirable especially for the young teenage girl she was...and coming out of a car of girls at one point where there -was- a level of silliness going on before hand. :lol:

I believe she does represent other situations that MJ has had with fans. Not all fans go beserk, I should think. I'm sure he's had some truly lovely interactions with quite a few of them.

Some people just are good at staying level-headed, no matter what's going down around them. Some get more emtional. Some try to fight nerves, but the nerves win out, and they come off less composed or tongue-tied than they would like and want to kick themsleves later. Aw. And I've been there...I can get very shy and self-conscious.
