RIP sexy one...

And ya'll, don't believe that BS that Murray is trying to use to get his butt outta hot water. Mike did not leave this earth by his own hand. He's gone because Murray is incompetent.

Michael was happy and he was in love.

Oh, boy!!!! :o

I've seen the video before, but I must say that I don't find these "young talents" all that special.. it's just x-factor people.. I'm so happy the program ended.. and next year, I won't watch it.. I can't take, the way they praise them (the judges) and tell them they are stars and oh so talented... and then a year passes.. and they are nowhere to be seen..

real talent doesn't come around very often.. Michael is pure talent, and the night of the finals, I felt like putting on a concert with Michael instead of watching that lousy program.. I watched it, because I had watched all the other programs.. but I'm really tired of X-factor by now....
I'll be there from the Dangerous tour.. that's quality..:clapping:

Sorry Safira... hope you are ok with my rant about x-factor... pls forgive me..

I was'nt thinking about the plot of the show when I linked the video. It's not about x-factor.

The reason that I wanted to show you the video, is because it's young people singing a Jackson5 song! :) I don't compair them to Michael, because there is no need for that.. I just embrace the hope and joy that this video makes.

Yeah, that was just a joke. Actually, I had been thinking recently that I would have actually loved to have had an opportunity to go there and yes, even spend the night, a week, a lifetime, whatever.:(

I remember seeing pictures of the interior of the house and noticing there was a lot of dark wood and I remember thinking that I wasn't such a big fan of dark wood, eventhough it's beautiful and rich looking in and of itself, because I thought maybe it would make me feel depressed (I think I'm one of those people who need a lot of light). But, after his "passing" I kept thinking that I wish I could've been there and I wouldn't have even minded the dark wood. I would have made myself get used to it.:( I would have just been happy to just have been there with him and his precious family.:(

Man tha, you ought to be a talk show host! You've got me cryin', lol! Barbara Walters would really envy you right about now, lol! Well, let me stop babblin' like some sorta babblin' fool!

I love the song "I Wanna Know What Love Is".
Everyone deserves to have that question answered.
To get it answered one needs to open the eyes from inside. A person has two sets of eyes.
Those outside, and those inside.
Soulmates (and please extend your vision of this word.) only comes together when they manage to see eachother with the inner eyes.

1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

MJJC Legacy Project - Making A Difference Newsletter: Inspiring Change

Welcome to the MJJC Legacy Project Newsletter!

In this issue we have some interesting words for you. This time about projects that provide us support, love and other important things we need to focus on in hectic, hard times. We want to ask each member and every fan to remember we are one and that we have to unite to make that change. We would do Michael proud when we reflect, have a higher conciousness and are able to always rethink our actions and behaviour to make the best out of ourselves.

Read on to find out how you can do your part, help others and be inspired.

Remember that it starts with the person in the mirror...!

"Major Love Prayer"

We had an interesting interview with mjbunny, responsible for the monthly Major Love Prayer.

- What is the Major Love Prayer?

Each month on the 25th at exactly 2pm/14:00 Los Angeles time thousands (hopefully someday millions?) of fans all over the world join together in hearts and spirits for a few minutes to 'send out a major love'. Our united goal is to spread the energy of love, peace and healing to everyone and everything, to essentially heal the world with L.O.V.E. We use the word "prayer", but if you're not the type of person who prays, please don't let it stop you from joining us! In that case, consider it a meditation, wish, affirmation or even the sending of an 'intention'. The important thing is that we do it together as one and with love in our hearts.

- How can you participate? What do you need to do?

It's very easy to participate. All you need to do is to set aside a few minutes each month. And you can join us from almost anywhere... from your bed, at your desk, in a parking lot, etc. There are instructions for the suggested visualization on our website. In short, we take some deep breaths and relax, ask for any assistance/etc from a higher power (if this is part of your belief), then focus on the feeling of LOVE and let it grow in our hearts. We visualize connecting with other fans across the world with this love and then watch and feel it grow until the the whole planet is enclosed in and glowing with LOVE, peace and healing. We know it, feel it and hold it for a few moments. Easy! (Of course there are suggestions for making it more powerful, but if you can at least do the basics above, that's great!)

- How did you come to the idea to set this up?

Well, in September 2009 a group of fans on another MJ forum began a monthly global prayer they dubbed "sending out a major love". I personally discovered it five minutes before the start of October's event. My first thought was, "Wow, how cool!", because I know of many studies that show this kind of thing can truly have an effect. Plus, what a wonderful way to keep us together as a community, to potentially change the world and to continue Michael's legacy through three things he believed in: LOVE, healing the world, and prayer. A couple of weeks later, we all decided that a website would be a perfect way to spread the word and get the whole world together, so www.majorloveprayer.org was born. Since then many fans have contributed with translations of the prayer instructions and have spread the idea on MJ forums, websites, Facebook, Twitter, etc. It's really a group effort in all ways.

- Why could it be important for fans to participate in this moment?

I think this is important on multiple levels. To begin with, it brings us all together in unity for something entirely positive, no matter what our nationality, religion or feelings about the circumstances of Michael's passing. MJ fans are a family and we need to stay together as one, "with love". People who participate in Major Love Prayer have said it gives them real comfort and a greater sense of peace and connection to each other and even to Michael. Everyone who has done it once wants to do it again. And what could possibly be wrong with thousands of people focusing on LOVE? How many times did Michael ask us to love one another, to give this love to the world? Maybe it can expand our compassion and uplift our hearts so that we can take this outside into the world and turn it into action; action that both heals the world and preserves Michael's beautiful legacy of LOVE.

On a whole other level are the spiritual and scientific aspects. Some studies on healing have shown remarkable results with group intention, and acts of compassion and concentrated attention have been shown to reduce stress, improve mood and possibly improve overall health. Spiritually speaking, those who believe in other realms and the connectedness of all life will probably agree that prayer and "what we put out there" can indeed help change the world, via a higher power (i.e. God) or a collective belief. If not with obvious, immediate physical results, perhaps by elevating consciousness beyond our daily awareness and opening hearts. After all, "Love is the most important thing in the world." (MJ 2009)

-Anything else people need to know?

We'd just like you to know that it's important to double-check the prayer time each month. The event time is set to 2pm in Los Angeles, so whenever the U.S. or other countries change their clocks for the season (in spring or autumn), this can shift your prayer time by an hour. We keep an updated time zone chart and a live countdown timer on the website to keep everyone in unison and post updates there as well. We're also on Facebook and Twitter, so that's another way to get updates. Thank you, Project Legacy Team and MJJC! Major L.O.V.E. to you all.

"The Untold Story of Neverland"

Filmmaker Larry Nimmer has created a film of Michael Jackson's Neverland. The documentary was shown to the jury at the 2005 trial, since the judge did not allow them to go and see Neverland for themselves.

In this documentary Mr. Nimmer shares with the viewer many aspects of Neverland. Some of the things he shares are the rooms at Neverland, the staff, a memo board with a message from Paris "I love you daddy, get well soon, Paris", the statues and mannequins, the rides, the well-cared for animals, beautiful nature scenery, the police interview with Gavin Arviso, outtakes from the Martin Bashir documentary "Living with Michael Jackson", the raid of Neverland conducted by then D.A. Tom Sneddon and more than 70 officers, the rebuttal video made by the Arvisos after the disastrous Bashir documentary, Paul Rodriguez the jury foreman in the 2005 trial and Thomas Mesereau who was Michael Jackson's lead attorney give their perspective on things.

For more information: http://www.nimmer.net

How to order the DVD: You can either order it at www.nimmer.net or amazon.com.

The film premiered on February 17th at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Here you can watch some viewers reactions to the film:

"Inner Michael"

What does “Inner Michael” mean? Well, in your “inner being” is the highest and finest expression of what it means to be human. It is the essence, the higher self, the Monad or the Christ within. Called many things by many traditions, it is the spark and the sparkle. It is “The One” who found the most unlikely place to hide… inside.

“Inner Michael” is the Michael I discovered and continue to discover in his life and work. It is both personal and universal journey to the real identity of one we called Michael. He is the startling and sparkling gem buried under all the projections flung at him from the collective consciousness of the world and the reflection of the mirror that he had and was. He reflects humanity’s collective shadow and collective brilliance. He is the hero of antiquity, the modern prophet, the dying and rising god, the fool and the magician, the Lancelot and the King. He is whoever you imagine in youryour imagination, your inner self…
Part taken from post at Inner Michael.com

A message from Barbara Kaufmann for MJJC and it's members:

If you had said to me… “Your immediate destiny is to sit at the feet of the Dalai Lama to learn non-violent ways to change the world,” that I would have resonated with. To simply change the world using among other things—words, has always been my mission. Had you said “have a look at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who may be your new spiritual guru,” I would have listened even though I really like the one I have—Yoda. I have sat at their feet and a few other very wise feet. But had you told me I would be “sitting at the feet of someone wearing sparkle socks and posed on his toes,” I would have thought you gone over the rainbow. Had you mentioned he would be: an extraterrestrial Moonwalker; Sparkling King; a vocal, musical, sound and visual arts shaman; a mystical, magical, and metaphysical, master; a global spiritual messenger; a dancer who levitates; star and performer the magnitude of supernova; and the greatest mystery ever untold and I would be telling about it, I would have been intimidated but thrilled. But if you had told me it would be Michael Jackson, I might have run for my life! So here I am sitting enchanted at the feet of possibly the greatest teacher who has lived on this planet in a long, long time in the company of others he has captured and captivated… and we are simply changing the world.

Michael said many times when speaking to fans: “ You are my legacy.” Michael was all about changing the world and he built the platform to do just that. His life wasn’t just about singing and dancing and entertaining; Michael’s life mission was to change the world. And if you find yourself at all enchanted with this man, it’s part of your life mission too. Why do you think you signed up for this mission? Oh, you signed up alright even if you don’t consciously remember. Its imprinted on your soul. And Michael recruited you. So what to do now? Find places in your life to slide Michael’s message in between the cracks: make the change and be the change. Things like: Pay it forward; live your dream; listen with your inner ear to your inner voice to hear what you are called to do; practice kindness; live generously by giving generously; volunteer for a cause you can get passionate about; recycle, be green, be conscious and take care of the planet; embrace people as best you can, even those who offend you- they are wounded fearful humans; find a spiritual practice, a spiritual home; do your shadow work- see the world as it is and then shift it in your mind to see and feel it in perfection. And by all means, speak out, and speak against but do it in a respectful rational way so that they can’t dismiss you as a ‘crazed fan’ and make what you have to say illegitimate. Be thoughtful, be resolute, choose your battles wisely and take on only the ones that are meaningful; you will need your energy for the rest. Be the change in Michael’s name for everything you do.

At some point I am going to lobby very hard to change the definition of “Michaeling.” It would be the perfect word to describe what his admirers are doing and being in the world in Michael’s name. Right now it means trolling for all things Michael; instead it would catch on as being the inner Michael in the world. Words have power; "Michaeling" has the potential for becoming a generic term for doing good in the world. We would like Michael to be remembered for who he really was not the caricature they painted. So it is important that you are about the business of Michael, of what and how he taught you to be. Then when people ask what you are doing say: “I’m Michaeling.” When they ask what that means, you have just created the perfect opportunity to explain: Michael Jackson was someone I admired because…. and since he is no longer here to do it; I am changing the world in Michael’s name- I’m Michaeling.

Ah :) that is the root of wisdom. I love it :clapping:
I'll remember that..
I made a theory like that myself once. It's in a slightly different perspective though.
The theory that I made says: To obtain peace with eachother, we must first learn how to communicate. By communication we will reach an understanding of eachother. When understanding eachother, we must learn to accept eachother. By accepting eachother, we can live in peace - together.

To make a little conversation:
I'd like to take a trip back in the music-history.. I've been kinda nostalgic these past few days. Both listening to 90's music, but also earlier music. I know that people inhere belongs to the "disco-fevah" but in the 60/70's there was a really nice sort-of-rock band in Denmark call'ed Gasolin. Despite of their laid back and veeeery chilled outlook, they where very original and their music was almost like an audio-picture of the way Denmark was like backthen. (Denmark is a very little country in scandinavia. Located in between of Germany, Sweden and Norway.).

Does your country have a band like this? That you look back on seeing that they defined the culture in a good way backthen? I thought it was nice to share these things as I suppose that music meens a lot to all of us inhere, being MJ fans

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4zYUZVoHr6k&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4zYUZVoHr6k&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

This song is call'ed "Longbridge" which is a certain bridge in the inner Copenhagen (the capital of Denmark). This song is rather depressive as it describes the less happy part of the people in late 60's Denmark. But still it's a wonderfull piece of Danish culture I'll try to translate the lyrics. In the song is a lot of locations, so make it less confusing I make these italic.

Longbridge
By Gasolin (http://www.esbenfjord.dk/uploaded_images/gasolin-768789.jpg) (Written by Kim Larsen (http://i2-images.tv2.dk/s/37/2288937-3580a0c5bc839df4d5b706444956db97.jpeg))

When I walked across Longbridge
An early monday morning
I saw someone who stood an cried
If you dare - then come with me

I walked past the Demons Port
In front of the Kofoed School
There stood a bunch and drank themselves to death..
If you dare - then come with me

I met someone who walked around with "Wake UP"
She was Jehovas witness
She yelled:
The earth will end today!
So if you dare - then come with me

I saw a woman that ran after her housband
She had such wonderfull eyes
She yelled:
Hey, you've stolen my life!
If you dare - then come with me

(lol it's very hippie'ish.. :giggle: I hope you will be able to see the idea of the music and look past the fact that they, as personalities, is an expression of the state-of-mind backthen)

"The love that die is not love."

"We should always leave loved ones with loving words. Can be the last time you see them."

"Love restores joy. The disaffection leads us in paths of sorrow, shortens our nights, afflicts today. Love recomposed the equilibrium, lifts us the astral and allows us to find peace in ourselves!"

The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide.

VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned in Communist Romania for 14 years for his faith in Christ. His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years. In the 60s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States. Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church.

The Voice of the Martyrs continues in this mission around the world today through the following main purposes:

1. To encourage and empower Christians to fulfill the Great Commission in areas of the world where they are persecuted for their involvement in propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by providing Bibles, literature, radio broadcasts, medical assistance, and other forms of aid.

2. To give relief to the families of Christian martyrs in these areas of the world.

3. To equip local Christians to love and win to Christ their enemies who are opposed to the gospel in countries where believers are actively persecuted for their Christian witness.

4. To undertake projects of encouragement, helping believers rebuild their lives and Christian witness in countries that have formerly suffered Communist oppression.

5. To emphasize the fellowship of all believers by informing the world of atrocities committed against Christians and by remembering their courage and faith.

Mission:Serving the persecuted church through practical and spiritual assistance, while leading Christians in the free world into fellowship with them.

Thanks Sdeidjs, for the "Aloha" video.

This was so moving because Hawaii will always have a special place in my heart. I will always associate it with my mom and me. It was her dream to go there, and we went, and then about a couple months later she went to her own "Hawaii" in the sky. I even wrote a message with "Aloha" in it on her head stone. I wanna go back!!! lol!

Have you ever heard the song, "These Islands" by Danny Couch? It's beautiful. My mother was listening to this song when she was in a helicopter flying above the islands. I heard this and another Hawaiian song again shortly after her passing. I felt like it was her sign to me telling me she was alright and in her own little Hawaiian paradise. What makes me like it even more is the fact that it reminds me of Michael's "Have You Seen My Childhood?" haha. Let me know if you hear the similarity too. Enjoy.

Hawaii is one of my most favorite places on Earth. The beauty of the land and the people, the respect for Mother Earth and Nature, and the spirituality you feel just by being there. I think I was Hawaiian in my other life lol I love it so much. Aloha truly is a way of life. :)

Hey, Everybody,

I woke up still in a Hawaii state of mind, therefore ...

I thought you would like to hear this song by a popular Hawaiian artist (he's deceased now, unfortunately) by the name of Israel Kamakawiwi'ole (Don't ask me how to pronounce his last name, lol!). Anyway, this was the other song I heard after my mom's passing that I took as a "sign" from her. It was playing over and over again in the background while we were there 'cause we were playing his CD.

You might recognize another song he did which was the remake of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." It's used in a lot of movies and commercials and stuff. I'll try to post that one too.

That's where I bought flights to MP. Maui...and I am going to rent someone's condo for the trip. If you need some help in finding a place, and you want to go there this summer, let me know. I emailed with a bunch of people and found some fantastic deals. We got beach front but I was really contemplating renting a house a bit inland that had an orchard where you could pick fresh fruits and vegetables to eat, free of charge. Mangoes, avocados, bananas, pineapples, a bunch of different types of citrus and a bunch more. It sounded heavenly to me. Anyways, after talking with my mom she suggested I find a place with a pool and the beach so they always have something fun to do. I still think I would have preferred the private place with an orchard. Then again, maybe it's good for me to be around people.

wanna hear something wierd? I feel like god holds a hand over MJ's fans..

I always have such wierd incidents with his music. Like it happens really often that when I enter a room where they play music - they start playing his music!!
Or just before when writing that I missed hearing "Just good friends" in my mp3, and then right after the random shuffle in my mediaplayer choose exactly THAT song (among a -LOT- of songs!) how wierd is that?

I was once sitting in the theater before the movie started and they where playing music in the background. Some boring music. And I quietly said to my mother who sat next to me: hmm all we need is for them to put on some nice MJ music.

Next song was "I want you back".

Well it sounds to me like God was trying to do just that with that gust of wind you mentioned in an earlier post just a moment ago. ;)

So you may as well book the flight now (for a few months from now) and say Aloha to me once I'm there. We can take hula dance lessons together and learn how to surf. SHamonn MP, I need a friend to go with. My kids all make friends so quickly and easily and then leave me behind. I'll be all lonely. We'll meet Ashtanga once we get there and Saphira will arrive on the back of a dolphin cause that's the cheapest way to travel. It really would be so much fun. Of course everyone else could come too. I know I didn't mention everyone's names.

Yes, I do remember a little of it, but I wouldn't mind revisiting this song. It really intrigues me.

What I did learn from TII is that he "likes gggggrrrrrrrllllllovin' this way." And SHE also "likes gggggrrrrrrlllllllovin' this way." But, what way is that? Does he mean, in secret? In the SR (spirit realm)? In person?

I hope he isn't talking about that whole "spiritual connection" thing again, 'cause while I think it is nice to have that with someone, especially when the two people can't be together, I don't think it was ever meant to replace being together in real life. It might seem like a convenient and non-threatening way to go and all (especially for someone famous), but I think if one or both people were living in the physical realm, I would think it would begin to get lonely and frustrating to live that way. We are more than just a spirit afterall. And, as a woman, I don't see why he would say SHE likes living that way so much. I kinda don't think a woman would like that as much. Women tend to need a strong presence by their side, or at least some do. I dunno. Maybe that's just me. What do you all think?

Women tend to need a strong presence by their side, or at least some do. I dunno. Maybe that's just me. What do you all think?

Have fun in Maui Ape! Don't forget to check out the Maui Ocean Center, Maui Tropical Plantation, Front Street in Lahaina and I'm not sure if it will be happening when you're there but the whale migration and whale watching, Whaler's Village in Kaanapali it's an outdoor shopping center on the beach, and sooooo much more. Get a convertible to drive, you'll love it! :D

1st bolded part..maybe it was all of these, secret, spiritual and physical. It was mentioned by those bodyguards he was seeing a couple people so who knows. Maybe he found that one that truly inspired his heart. :)

2nd bolded part..I agree. Although I am not the clingy type and like my space, as a woman there are times that I want the physical presence.....stimulating all the senses ya know.   :P

hmm interesting post MP.. to refresh my intepretion - I think that the girl is a metaphor for the city.
He talks of the city (if this city is an apple = new york) at night and that he longs to be a part of that. He fantasises about the night-clubbing life and he sees it as almost another world. It becomes another world when the lights are out and all the young people are having fun together, just feeling that they are alive in every way. (= human nature)

He is sitting in the window speculating about this. Longing to be there.
In the end he finds himself still sitting in the windowsill and the sun is rising.

Now for the TII stuff. It gave me a laugh when he growled on "i like lovin' this way" omg I also laugh now just thinking about it. So silly :D Because all the rest of the song is so soft and romantic and emotional and then ofcourse he has to throw in some "GRRRRwwAAA comehere pyt" into it in the end.. Typical Michael :smilerolleyes: lovely.. but anyway!!

I felt that the -to quote you MP :cheeky:- "likes gggggrrrrrrrllllllovin' this way." (:giggle::smilerolleyes:) was mostly a spontanious thing that he did because he felt really great about singing that song. Watching TII I saw a lot of these sudden ideas and outbursts. Sudden dance actouts - comming from spontanious feeling that just arouse in him at that moment. Thats what I think the growling was about. I think men like to growl when they are happy () or rather - when they feel like they just succeeded in something. It's really cute actually..
Michael has always been behaving this when making music. You can see it on the recordings for "We are the world". He's doing all sorts of little dance moves all the times. Just out of happiness and rythmic energies.

To answer the other you talked about, I think that both spirit and body was important for Michael. As it is for any person. I think he needed someone who could be there in spirit all the time and in person when possible. It's funny that the talk falls to this because I have just been thinking about the song "Give in to me" a lot today and yesterday.
That song confuses me.. Or rather.. Hmm no not really.. It amazes me.

In the song he requires that she doesent question him at all. Why? He doesnt tell, but I think I know the answer..
"don't try to understand me, just simply do the things I say"
"don't try to understand me because your words just arent enough"

Very interesting..

I just heard "Bad" and "Lady in My Life" on the radio and I was just thinking about the song, "Give Into Me" right before I posted this, especially the part Safira was talking about, about not questioning him, or better yet, trying to understand him. yay! I found the translation of Angelique Kidjo's "Agolo" song. It turns out it IS about love :D
(I think this is a direct translation so the sentences can seem a little strange, but I think the general meening is comming through!)

Agolo (Peace)

Peace! Peace! Peace! Peace!

Do not worry yourself
Love for all the world
Do not forget love
Love for the house of our ancestors
Love of the world of home
Time is long for the world
Love of the world of home
Time is long for the world

Blessings, blessings
Blessings, blessings
Blessings, blessings
Love of the world
Blessings, blessings
Love, blessings, love, blessings, love, blessings
Love, blessings, love, blessings, love, blessings
Love, blessings, love, blessings, love, blessings

:wild: :wild: :wild:

Yesterday I searched the lyrics in English and was not found. lol! Thanks! :D

I see it is about the universal love. Michael would have loved this song.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud, it is not rude. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails" 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

If i remember correctly, at some point Susie referred to Lady in my life as a 'romantic' song. I would respectfully disagree, a romantic song by my definition would be 'one more chance' for example, the other one is a steamy piece of music, to put it mildly :P, especially with such a performance of human nature attached to it. And since i mentioned one more chance, here is a nice vid done for it. I saw this recently and so i thought it fit here nicely; i know the song has been discussed way back when.

Just for reflection:

"The biggest is the loneliness of being that does not love. The greatest loneliness is the pain of being that is absent, which is not defended, it closes, who refuses to participate in human life.
The biggest is the loneliness of the man closed in itself, the absolute itself, which does not give anyone who asks what he can give love, friendship and help.
The largest is the solitary who is afraid of love, which is afraid of hurting and hurting themselves, to be chaste woman, friend, people in the world. It burns like a lamp sad, sad reflection which also all around. It is the anguish of the world that reflects it. He is what he refuses to real sources of emotion, which are the patrimony of all, and ended its hard privilege sow stones from the top of their cold and desolate tower." Interesting you should bring up loneliness, ashtanga 'cause just the other day I was thinking about the loneliness that MJ said he constantly felt and I thought that it seemed like a deeper loneliness than most of us feel and I wondered where it came from especially when you listen to a song like "Who Is It?" where he says, "I can't take it 'cause I'm lonely." It sounds to me like his loneliness was profound. Why do you think this was so? Was it just because of his isolation due to his fame, was it because he was so different, or something else?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Well, I believe that before becoming a father, Michael felt a deep loneliness. Yes, he was a very different and so maybe he was looking for someone like him to be by your side, but he never found. Isolation .... I'm sure Michael often felt like an anonymous person to be able to go out and do all the things he could do for being a celebrity. But I think the word "isolation" is too strong a word. He was never alone and isolated. He just got quiet a few times in his world. Michael has always been very involved with the world and with fans. He had contact with all things and knew what was happening. And after Michael became a father, he was never really alone because he was with his precious children  and surrounded by love, it would be impossible to feel lonely. But the solitude of a woman's love, certainly yes.

It's just my opinion.

This is a pretty good response. I personally feel it may have come from feeling "different" more than anything else. Eventhough he was always surrounded by a lot of different people indeed, I think he really didn't have anyone he felt he could really relate to or anyone who could relate to him, and this is where I believe his loneliness came from - for the most part.

Well, can I butt in? Here I go... I think loneliness / isolation goes far beyond company! Even though we are always surrounded by wonderful people, sometimes our hearts feel empty, alone, abandoned. I know how wonderful is to have the company of a child! God only knows how I'm happy to be with my son! But even with a love so grand, so sincere and unconditional like that sometimes I just feel alone! And no matter what I do or who is with me, the feeling of being isolated from the world is big! I think loneliness / isolation is a disease like depression! Maybe loneliness isn't linked to love...I don't know....maybe my thoughts will not make too much sense! Oh, boy! Who am I! Where am I? :P

uhhw
I wish I could hug him.. I think he gave a lot of hugs to people, but sometimes he also needed to recieve a hug..

hmm.. You really think that what he felt was so far from what other people feels?
Everyone feels lonely and different sometimes.. Ofcourse, there was only one king of pop, only one person with that life. A different life that most people wont be able to understand the meens of.

I like that you mention that song because I've thought a little about it in the past. I think I understand his feelings in that song.. It's just difficult for me to describe feelings with words. Well he did it so brilliant himself in that song

*listens closely to the lyrics again* yes it's very clear to me..

The energy in the song is very selfdestructive I think. He has had enough of this ever-lasting hard life where he, for some reason, always feels alone..

"this is'nt justice, woe on to thee, i pray this punishment would have mercey on me"
Clearly he is so devastated that he almost feels cursed.
I think many people have felt this feeling? I shure have.. Sometimes it's like the world falls apart and all sorts of bad stuff happens.
But the reason that he feels so alone in this song is because he is so blinded by his pain.. And he wont listen. It's like he choose to feel alone!??

Someone needed to step in and say "HEY mister goodlooking fella'. You are not running away this time!!" :giggle:
And now we are btt - Did this woman come into his life? Did he indeed have this love in the dark that would've suited him so much?
I certainly hope so.

Ok then I was'nt speaking too wierd then lol

The mind of the human is very complex! Not only with Michael. Different circumstances creates different mind-sets, different obstacles for a person to handle emotionally.

I STILL think it is very important to remember that Michael was a human being like everyone else. His brain was coping with things like any brain would have done see? Only difference is the environment that the human being Michael Jackson was living in. (not thinking anything negative here). The ONLY difference between Michael and ANY OTHER human is that he was a pop icon.
In psychology you work with a person in a very simple way.

A person has a behavior-pattern, this behavior pattern is created by the brain to make the person less vulnerable (very roughly speaking here). Every action, and this goes for any creature with a brain, is having its roots in a behavior-pattern that the brain has thought up, created based on experiences, to make the person less vulnerable.

When a deer runs away as soon as it hear a noise fromt another animal - that is a behavior-pattern. "fear - RUN!"
When a person is nervous when they go to an exam - a behavior-pattern. "fear - RUN!"
This is very basic though.. But it creates and understanding, hopefully :)

The brain works the same if its inside the head of a little girl in china or inside the head of a mega star Michael Jackson.

So, Michael might have felt lonely and different but he was never different. His life was different, but HE was'nt.

Amazing videos and thoughts being shared. Way too deep talk about loneliness and isolation for me to get into at this hour, but i wanted to THANK YOU all for your words full of wisdom and truth and the amazing vids.

Sus, i hadn't heard Streetwalker in years, i really can't even remember when i heard it last; truth be told, from the new songs on the Bad special edition i was always drawn more to Fly away and the Spanish version of IJCSLY, but now that you done postin that wonderful link i was reminded whatta funky 'lil' song Streetwalker is lol. Don't even get me started on Why...

Ash, thank you for the vid - i wasn't familiar with this most inspiring artist. It's always lovely to hear people get their praise on.

Yesterday i ran by chance into some quotes which fit this thread, me thinks:

One word frees us
of all the weight and pain of life;
That word is love. - Sophocles

Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble,
attempts what is above its strength,
pleads no excuse of impossibility
It is therefore able to undertake all things. - St. Thomas Aquinas

Nothing is sweeter than love;
nothing stronger, nothing higher,
nothing wider, nothing happier,
nothing fuller, nothing better
in heaven and earth...
love flies, runs, and rejoices;
it is free and nothing can hold it back. - Thomas a Kempis

Guys i want to write out this poem that i found and it made me think of michael

HIS JOURNEYS JUST BEGUN:

Dont think of him as gone away
His journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets-
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth abd comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away
And think of him as living
in the heartsof those he touched.....
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and he was loved so much.

I like everyone's posts on the loneliness thing.

I have another question for you (although I know I said I shouldn't analyze so much - guess that didn't last long, haha).

I was wondering what you guys thought about the line in YANA where MJ sings:

"I can hear your prayers ..."

How would you guys feel if MJ could really hear your prayers? Would that be a comfort to you or would that make you feel a little awkward? Discuss.

hmm.. I would say awkward ^^
hmm I've actually speculated about that sentence from YANA.. Well, you could easily go crazy-overanalythical on it, but lets just stick with the idea that he had a very spiritual connection to this person that the song is for.

"I can hear your prayers" can be a metaphor that he understands her so much that he can almost read her thoughts.

I have another question for you (although I know I said I shouldn't analyze so much - guess that didn't last long, haha).

I was wondering what you guys thought about the line in YANA where MJ sings:

How would you guys feel if MJ could really hear your prayers? Would that be a comfort to you or would that make you feel a little awkward? Discuss.

I'm not good at these things :bugeyed, but something came in my mind. :)

I think it would be a comfort and does not have to be considered something strange.

But I think about the fans..............

Michael was always a very sensitive man and spiritual. Michael always knew about the thousands of fans around the world. Somehow he felt the deep love and admiration of thousands of fans for him. How? It is difficult to explain why there are thousands of fans and of course Michael did not know all these fans, but he knew of their love for him. He talked about this a few times. He always felt that love... and prayers too.

I think this is the same for: "I can hear your prayers..." Somehow he heard those prayers. How? It's really difficult to explain how Michael felt all these things, but most important is to see how he was always sensitive. All these things were so far away from him and he had the ability to feel all those things in some way: love and prayer for him.... and the distance does not really matter.

It is something sOOOOOOOOo special and personal, only Michael could explain all these things. And in my opinion......... He ALWAYS said many things between the lines many times and in different ways.

Your post was really beautifull! Some of what you wrote made me cry a tear.. Michael Jackson was such a good man in many ways. He was the best idol that any fan could wish for! Many famous people doesent really care about their fans, but Michael did. He was always so thoughtfull and caring to us. I wish that we all could've given just an inch back to him of what he gave us. Then he would be overflooded with love all the time :give_heart:

:boohoo: I know he knew that we appreciated everything he did..

"I can hear your prayers" can be a metaphor that he understands her so much that he can almost read her thoughts.

Yeah, it's hard to say if he meant it literally or not. I'm hoping it's more of a metaphor 'cause I know with myself, I like to really let everything out when I'm praying. I try to be as honest and open with God as I can be. I guess that wouldn't be so bad for him to hear, but what about the part where you confess your sins and stuff? Isn't that supposed to be between you and God alone? Well, maybe he's not saying he hears that part (I hope :mello:).

It's interesting that you also mention reading thoughts. He also seems to claim in his songs, in a round about way, that he can also do that and he can also feel, sense, even see her ... and much, much more, lol! Is that a good thing or a scary thing? I dunno, maybe soul mates are just wired that way?

Soulmates are wierd.. :D
I don't think he could litterally hear her prayers.
When talking about love in a song, it will always be a little metaphoricly and spiritual.

And soulmates do have some wierd abilities to feel eachother on distance. Not like they know "now she's sad", "now she's talking to her mother" or something like that. But more in a energy-kinda-way. I don't know if its when they are both thinking of eachother at the same time. But I've experienced it myself.. Also in dreams.

Michael has always been incredible and unique with fans, as a father, as a human being and as a man. I always say that when God made Michael, He threw away the recipe to make another one like it. lol! :wild: I really have never seen another artist to be so beloved by fans as Michael is. And I've never seen another artist to have a connection soooooooo strong and especial with their fans like Michael always had. It's amazing and it is difficult to explain. :wild:

I admire and love other artists , but Michael will always be first on my list. Michael will always be TOP in my life and every day I really love him even more.

I never met Michael and he never knew of my existence (lol! :wild: ), but I know that somehow he felt and feel all my deep and sincere love for him, so it is with me and all the fans around the world. He feels and has always felt. All of us always live in the heart of Michael and we were always in his thoughts. If he always loved us more, we always love them more every day.

I think there is something deeper than the distance. It is when you look in the eyes of the person and know what that person is feeling and thinking. For example: If this person lying to you, you will know and will feel for the look, speech, behavior. Presentiment? I believe. Why is there a voice within us that always tells us things and warns us. That voice never fails.

Yes, but I think all these things only happen when there is a contribution from the couple: when they have an open relationship and are always exchanging dialogues on all things life. Well, always be 100% transparent and honest in relationship. Only then can two people know each other so well.

A soulmate (s) is a person (s) with whom one (s) has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility.

The twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.

"Even though twin souls are far apart, their flame, the cosmic energy they possess will not allow them to be separate, and never really ever say goodbye..!"

Discuss.
:) Well, something that seems like it could make sense is a completely different take on it.

Gees I was trying to find lyrics that I could cut and paste but no lyric place lets you do that now it seems. So I'll have to type them out.

"Another day has gone
I'm still all alone ....

Something whispers in my ear and says "You are not alone... " " etc

So to me it sounds like someone left him all alone and lonely and God whispers to him that he's not alone because God is with him. Even though they are far away, they are together and he's always in God's heart. Just the other night God heard him cry and ask Him to hold him in His arms. God can hear his prayers and will bear his burdens (God does this for us all) but first He needs your hand so forever (with God) can begin. Even after death, our relationship with God continues if we've given Him our hand right?

Then at the end he is telling the girl the same thing God told him, that if she wants him, he'll be there; she just has to "whisper three words and (he'll) come running" and he'll always hold her in his heart.

So I don't think it is that Michael is hearing anyone's prayers. He hears God tell him this. He is all lonely and feeling alone and then is reminded that he is not really alone because God is with him, God hears his prayers and will help him bear his burdens. So then he feels renewed I guess, and wants to be there for the one who left him alone just the way God is there for us because that is what love is. God still loves us when we turn away and leave him just as the woman left Michael (or whomever the song is about, if not Michael), and his love will continue on for the one who left him just like God's love.

I hope that was easy enough to follow.

(P.S. I just saw a rough draft of my movie and it's good, but they still have lots of work to do on it and probably will make lots of cuts to it because it's too long and they have unnecessary things in it. I had the easy part. Acting has got to be so much easier than editing and making the sound all perfect and all that stuff that I'm not a part of. So possibly the premiere date will be postponed in order to make it better. )

Michael was always very spiritual and I believe he always knew he was never really alone. God is always watching us and doing their job. But sometimes when we are disappointed, sad or bad in a situation where we do not know what to do and which path to follow, God sends his signs just to remind us that we are never alone. I'm sure God did so many with Michael. Somehow we feel God's presence and feel his constant acting in our lives... ALWAYS!!!

Well, I don't know....at the same time I think it would be a comfort I think would be a little awkward too! I don't know how to explain, but I think if he could hear my prayers I would see him like a kind of God and although his grandiosity, I don't want to see him like a God!
I don't know if I can make you understand me, but it is what I think! ;)

Wow, truly beautiful and inspiring posts everybody, truly beautiful. :clapping: I wanted to go back a bit to the whole loneliness talk you guys were having earlier cause I ran by a photo that I think illustrates perfectly what Michael went through for most of his life. I haven't got a clue how and where from I saved this, but considering Wayne Nagin is in the picture I would have to guess it's somewhere around 1997, maybe when he went to Cannes to present Ghosts at the 50th festival....

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/611/trappedeyes.jpg

What is truly amazing about this picture is the fact that Michael is THE only one looking at that particular photographer and beyond his inate entertainment sense and the total showman he was (knowing exactly when and where to look so the camera can capture in the best possible way any of his movements), what that picture also shows is how he was the only one calm in all that madness; I could use another word, but it would be far too strong and it would offend the rest of the people in the picture and that wouldn't be right.

I don't know if that's the name of pic 'trapped eyes' as I originally saved it or if that's what I saw, but I think it does fit it to a certain extent. He does look like a deer trapped in the headlights, BUT, at the same time, I detect a sense of resignation, if not peace from a man who was used to that kind of chaos which had long become a way of life for him and which, might have been, at times, as weird as it sounds, a comforting environment.

We gotta remember that fame was what Michael knew for almost all of his life - the look in his eyes says something like 'hey, this is my life, see what it's like in my world?' I think he got used to this lifestyle so much so I can almost imagine him feeling strange when there wasn't such chaos around him. That might have been for him a reassurance of sorts of how much he mattered and he was loved; it's obvious how hungry he was for love and appreciation and what a deep sense of insecurity and inadequateness (is that even a word?) he must have felt throughout his life in spite of his amazing achievements.

Having said that, I am also convinced, as he said himself so many times, he would have loved nothing better than to be able to go out and do stuff that like rest of us who have the luxury of anonimity. I don't think any of us can properly understand what it must have been like for him and what a privilege it is to go about your own business without the world judging and disecting every word, every movement and every gesture. The ability to mess up without everyone judginging you is a privilege not afforded to the famous and it's something most of us take for granted; I actually think it's something to be cherished and to relish in.

As much of a breaking 'news' as it might have been to many – Michael Jackson was human – he cut, be bled, he hurt, he loved, he made mistakes just like everyone else, in spite of his out of this world fame and life; in the eyes of the Lord he was simply another of His children. As Ash put it so nicely – God did throw out the recipe after he was done with creating Michael, but the funny thing about that is that's what He does with each and every single human being being born and that is why cloning is such an abomination.

Notwithstanding, it would not be realistic to fail to recognize the fact that throughout history God does use certain people for the sake of all humanity and bestows upon them great gifts and huge responsibility to be leaders of entire generations and speak to the hearts and minds of people the world over and beyond time.

Because of the particular economic and technological conditions which do make this world of ours a global, colorful, messed up but beautiful little village, Michael had the opportunity to touch the world like no other artist – to sing and dance to the world and for the world. Many were receptive to the beautiful message he had to deliver, some were indifferent and some were downright vicious; too darn bad actually cause Michael managed to beautifully keep his innocence and purity and love in spite of the awful blows life and the world threw at him ocassion after another; the true loss is for those who were not and to this day are not capable of understanding the brilliance of what he had to offer – a voice raised against injustice pleading for love and harmony among individuals and nations.

Safira was perfectly right – he wasn't different from anyone else, his life was. There ain't no way he could have been all that different from everyone cause if that were the case he would not have been able to create art which could touch people of such different backgrounds. There was and still is a wonderful universalism in what Michael sang and did during all his life – the call of love which knows no distinction and barrier of any kind.

Y'all know that saying – to the world you are one person, but to one person you are the world. It is being used and overused that it is almost a cliché, I can't help but wonder though – Michael most definitely meant and means the world to millions of people all over the world (we got a few of us right here, right? :cheeky:), but maybe what he needed all along was someone other than his love of God, his children and love of humanity to mean the world to him? As much comfort as you can find in all those kind of loves, there is a sense of lack of completion when you don't have a soul to share dreams and failures with.

But to round up the circle and come back to the picture I posted, I would also have to say that beyond the showmanship and 'there abandoned in his fame' type of situation I also see another sparkle in his eyes – a filtracious, 'come and get me' attitude, which, as everything else, simply made him another regular man faced only with some extraordinary circumstances, nothing more, but certainly nothing less either. But then again, maybe it's safer not to assume anything - with all that crowd someone could very well have stepped on one of his shoes and he could have been putting up a nice lil front tryin to act all detached and stuff when on the inside he would have like to scream or something lol.

Sorry for the length of the post and the randomness of some of thoughts – I'm not sure if what i'm tryin' to say makes any sense, but i'll have to take the late hours as my alibi. :P

P.S. Susie, thanks for that wonderful vid you done posting, lovely doesn't begin to describe it.

'hey, this is my life, see what it's like in my world?'

I think it is just that. :(

Look at all the madness around Michael's picture: paparazzi and many flashes.... chasing him.

Imagine all that you experience throughout your life and every time you leave your house? :bugeyed

What I see in the picture is that Michael was eager to run away to escape all this madness. So I can really imagine what Michael felt and thought about this situation.... various situations.

This is a great example of how Michael always spoke to us many times in various ways. I believe that these things often go unnoticed by us, for example, look at that picture of Michael, we never stop to think about it: "I wonder what Michael is trying to say and express with this look? or what will be Michael was thinking when the paparazzi got flagging this look?" Michael in this picture was taken by surprise by the paparazzi and this surely happened thousands of times.

So many things must have gone unnoticed by us.... Michael spoke and expressed himself so many times indirectly with us.

As Ash put it so nicely – God did throw out the recipe after he was done with creating Michael,

Might I add that both songs you just mentioned is from the Dangerous and History albums. A certain time of MJ's life (the lyrics could be spanning 5-10 years, since its not always written the year the album is released). Therefore probably written for the same girl. hmm.. ?

Might I add that both songs you just mentioned is from the Dangerous and History albums. A certain time of MJ's life (the lyrics could be spanning 5-10 years, since its not always written the year the album is released). Therefore probably written for the same girl. hmm.. ?

I've been hearing this song a lot and thought it probably belongs here. It is the song "Broken Wings." It was originally sung by a band named Mr. Mister in the 80's. I really like Clay Aiken's version. It has a hauntingly beautiful poem in it called "A Thousand Different Ways" recited by a female voice. And, of course ... you know I'd have to love a song that is about "wings"! haha!

yes they are.. its not even complicated. its the opposite. without sounding silly..

do you have some songs that you cant bare to hear? for many years i couldnt listen to "i will always love you" and "my heart will go on" but I feel different about those songs now.
Now its one of Michaels songs. "will you be there". It makes me feel uncomfortable.. and sad  I don't know why I have these songs that I can't listen to.. it's odd. when i listen to the intro to will you be there all my body says "nooo turn it off i cant handle this!!" and sometimes i have tried to pressure myself into listening through the intro and then when he starts to sing I almost cry.. why is that? I'm not a cry-person.. I always have one or two songs like this, that I cant bare to listen to.
I also have some movies like this. Lion King for example. When Scar is killing Mufassa I always fast forward. And it wierd BECUASE I don't have a problem watching horror movies and psychological thrillers. But Lion King - nahaah..

Great song, thanx for posting MP. You suure got a thing for wings lol. You know what though? Same as you can have travelin without moving, there's also flying without wings. Love can be the greatest propeller of all. But you did know that already, right? Ain't nothin new under the sun really - that mysterious distance between a man and a woman has been pretty much the same for thousands of years and it will remains so.

Ash,
Glad you liked it too.

Thanks, I'm very careful about posting, because as my first language is not English, I fear being misunderstood.
Listen to this song in the voice of Tracy moved me very much. Was a need of mine to share. Sadness, pain ... but so much beauty. Like love, sometimes painful, but worth the pain .. ;)

Thank you. Amazing how this song makes me not forget my roots.
We can not let the day-to-day make us forget the emotions, feelings ...

Another thing my attention: the impression of the intensity of feelings for Michael. Something like always willing to never leave us alone, in several songs he says: "Just call my name and I'll be there."
Makes me dream that it can really listen to hear our prayers, he can really feel how much we love him, even if not to make the idea of our existence.
Amazing what love can achieve.

MICCCCCCCCCHHHHAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEL ...
Just calling your name again...

A beautiful picture of Michael (as always) to brighten my day and make me smile again. Anyway, for all of us....

I love Michael so much....

*big sigh* :(

So, thank you, I'll give back that he is with open arms (which gives me the feeling of freedom - also remember the quote of wings lol - and also open chest .. reminds me of sincerity)
Ready to embrace us ...
As we dream. :girl_in_love:

you know.. Michael will always be there for you. Just put his music on and he is right there. When I feel alone and like "why do I loose people that I love all the time" then I just look at different positive pictures of Michael and listen to his songs. Then it's like a hug that comforts me and tells me that it will be ok soon..

That is the bonus of being a fan of someone like Michael Jackson.
