So I was surprised to see a Madonna sing-a-long coming up at a local theater near me, only to find that I missed the MJ show ( http://www.coolidge.org/node/1733 ) back in April cuz I wasn't around! :teary_eyed: (I include the link in case anyone wants to look at the description - they even included Captain EO! :o How cool is that! :wild: I'm so sad I missed it :boohoo: .) Anyways, it led me to this:

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (which looks like a really awesome theater!) is throwing a MJ 50th Birthday Bash on his birthday! They're also throwing Prince & Madonna ones too, but the best part is that they're including MJ sing-alongs in their calander through October when they'll invite everyone back to take part of Thrill the World. That sounds frigging amazing, so I hope you Austin-ites take part! I <s>think</s> know this event has been mentioned before (http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45535&highlight=Alamo), but I thought since Aug. 29th is only a month away, it warranted a reminder :D.
