I'm 5' 2" though I really I was at least 7 inches taller. I just hate being so short. It makes getting things that are in high kitchen cabinets a lot harder to get. Unless you stand on a chair or a stool in order to get that item that you want. I wish I was tall that way I won't feel like a midget or something whenever see one of my 5 male cousins who are practically giants to me. They are that tall.

How on Earth can you like being short? I am 2 inches taller than you and I just hate it. Especially since everything I feel is made for tall people. It is always such a huge pain in the neck always having to get the stool out of the closet. And carry it in to the kitchen in order to get a certain item that I need out of a cabinet. Or I have to used the salad thongs in order to reach for something that I want. I used to love to bake stuff but I just don't really do that anymore because it got too much of a pain. Having to use either the salad tongs or the stool in order to reach for all the baking items I need. I just can't believe there is a short person that actually likes being short. When it is such a pain in the neck to be so short. And I seriously put the blame on me being short squarly on my mother. Because she is short but a inch taller than me. Where my brother is at least either a good 5, 6, or 7 inches taller than me. I don't know how he got to be that tall when I want to be that tall as well. I don't even like seeing my brother because just like my giant cousins I totally feel like a midget when I am near him. And I just hate the fact there are giants in my family and I am just a short little midget. I am so freaking glad that family reunions are a thing of the past in my family. Because I always hated them because of me being so short and having to see members of my family who towers over me with their height. I seriously think I am the shortest person in my family.

I don't know why I like being short, I guess it just doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother you....whenever I have to get something that's high up I usually just ask someone to get it for me or I'll just stand on a chair....I mean there's nothing I can do about being short, I just gotta live with it...one thing that really bugs me though is when I'm in a crowd and I can't see over people's heads...even when we're sitting:smilerolleyes:...that does get to be a pain in the neck.....

What? You stated that 5'8 was "too tall" for a FEMALE when there are two members of this board (so far, unless porfriend is a female) that are TALLER than you are. So, you can't really say that 5'8 is tall because it is not. 5'8 might be the "average" height for a man but that doesn't mean it is necessary tall for a female. There are females who are taller than 5'8 or even 6'0. Also, 5'8 would not be tall for a guy because there are guys who are 6'8, 6'10, even 7'1 like Shaq. Sometimes, it is not good to make generalizations. Just speak for you and not every female out there. No one is trying to get at you. Maybe if you would calm down and chill, you will be alright. Also, read every response before you make a generalization like that.

Well, I actually like being tall because I have learned to accept my height. I still have the cons like the name calling and the big feet. LOL. I hate the fact that I have big feet and the nice sneakers that I wanna get doesn't come in my size! LOL. I do not bother wearing heels. I do not even try to. I have tried wearing heels and it is not for me at all. I prefer flats. Wearing heels makes me even taller and I really do not want to be that tall.

But I don't mind at all, my mum is a little bigger(5 feet) but still very small so it would have been weird if I was a giant. My mum can make all my pants shorter and the smallest size usually fits when I wear a belt:D.
The only thing I find annoying about being so small is finding shoes. I 've got very small feet ( when I was born, my feet were the same size as my mum's thumb:D) so it's almost impossible to find non-children shoes, I usually wear sportshoes :yes:.
And I've never been bullied with my size either because I can laugh with it myself.:tease:

That's so cool!!! I thought I'd be the shortest of the bunch:D now we're both the shortest :scratch::D. Ha, ha. You guys with small feet have the opposite problem I do. I have gigantic feet for a chick, lol. I wear like a size nine in MEN'S, lol. That's messed, huh? I actually tried to buy a pair of Puma racing shoes the other day with a women's design and the biggest size they had was one size too small for me, so I had to go with a men's shoe. But that's okay, I generally like men's shoes more then womens.

UGH! I hate shoe shopping! Nothing ever fits :angry: I end up getting blokes shoes as well. I bought a few pairs of converse sneakers etc when I was in the states last year, all men's size 10 :bugeyed

my problem is when I try to buy dress shoes or anything in heels, I just can't seem to get wide enough shoes... and then when they are wide enough they're too big and slip off the back of my heels when there's cold weather :lol:
and it's not like I can go and buy men's sizes in heels :lol:

i was 6-1 when i was 12 my doctor said could be as tall as 6-8. but a poor diet and lack of sleep slowed me down. anyway i'm 20 now and still love milk even though i'm done growing. i'm cool with my height i'm not too short (5-11 and down) not to tall(6-6 and up).

Jealous!! I weigh about 115 on average, which is a pretty good weight for 5'4". But man, I put a doughnut in my mouth and its like you can see it growing on my legs with every bite I take. LOL !!

I'm 5'2. I'm a shorty. haha. I wear heels a lot though. I wish I were atleast around 5'4 or 5'5. I have an athletic body type and my legs are short! So they're really muscular and stuff. I kind of have a body like Shawn Johnson if anybody remembers her from the Olympics. I just want longer legs...ugh.

I sit on a pillow to drive...climb on counters to get to cupboards... and love shoes with a bit larger heel to them so I can pretend to be taller :cheeky:
