your welcome yeah it says u cant change address cause it could delay delievery but i think thats just an excuse really as it can only delay if u contact them just as the tickets are being sent to you. changing it now makes no difference at all

lol ive got one for the 17th.not sure what u are saying though u just want to sell them or why would there be a prob with delievery as u are going home anyway

oh well ok.. yea, if i was going to sell them in london. much easier. but yeah i guess i could sell them when I get back home.

i emailed viagogo asking about changing delievery address etc if u are travelling to london a good few days b4 the shows and your tickets havnt arrived at your original delievery address. i was asking in reference to a date i havnt bought yet but the part of the reply posted below made me laugh. tickets i have bought from them so far are all AEG tickets (we presume) and the below quote from them made me laugh and pretty much sums it up. belows the quote and ill post the full email aswell as it mentioned getting the tickets weeks in advance.

As you are located in the UK, getting your tickets in time should not be an issue. Your tickets come from our most trusted seller, so you should have them a few weeks in advance.

Sellers of your tickets will typically receive them from the event organisers 1-2 weeks ahead of the event. This is because each promoter prints and sends their tickets out at different times. Viagogo has no influence on the shipment or printing date from the promoters.

just bought me some A1 row K for opening night and A1 row b-22nd july!!! for "only" 400 pounds on viagogo!!
I couldn't help myself when I saw row b for THAT price..concidering front row is selling for 1600 pounds!!! and seats back for way more than row b!!!

ok..so this sums it up to 12 MJ concerts..
I think THIS IS IT!!!!
now my wallet is really feeling it..

seems like viagogo keeps releasing new tickets and even better seats than before now! I bet they release front row for cheap money closer to the date.

I second that. I was also offered BK118 and BK113 (both look like they're behind the stage) during presale.

They are very side view, close to behind.
I've seen a show from block 112, seat 379 (look at the seating charts, its basically the seat in the middle of block 112, and although you are very close to the stage you are sitting level with the front of the stage looking side on so anything to the right of that e.g. the rest of block 112 & part of block 113 are very side on close to behind the stage.

I personally felt that although you are very close to the stage and the act the show goes out to the main arena and you miss a lot of the action (if you are too higher row you can't even see the back of the stage where the screens (or something else) are placed due to the speakers etc.

I'd prefer to be further back e.g. block 111 or 102 (where I've seen a concert from) and preferred it to be honest. Just being that little further back gives you the whole show experience rather than being really close to the stage. But I guess that's personal preference.

thanks to ellie at mjjuk heres a pic of the said areas. i was more on the side at one of the MSG shows i was nearer the stage yet the ticket cost less than being at the back of the floor! i didnt mind being there and its gave a diff presepctive. the seats were no where near being behind the stage though. i wouldnt want that.

101 is VIP so will be fine u can see your seats in the pic i posted. stages vary from show to show aswell aslong as u dont have the blocks that actually behind the stage u will be fine and seeing as they have sold tickets for those areas i would think the stage will be open like the pic i posted above also depends o n the size of the stage i would expect mjs to be pretty big (wide)

http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/4803/picture2f.png I don't know about those on Viagogo, of course, but...

My tickets straight from Ticketmaster have seat numbers that supposedly aren't in the given section, according to the chart. Our ticks are in BK105, but the chart says our seat numbers are way over in BK104. Huh? These were purchased straight from Ticketmaster during the presale, so I guess the chart isn't completely accurate in that sense (maybe because the sections are narrower at the bottom and wider at the top? Especially in those four 'squished' areas with the notches over the entrance/exit places... so like 118/101, 113/112, 109/108 & 105/104... I don't know what's up...)

elusive moonwalker

The floor seats are great if you are in the first few blocks but aren't if you are short, 112 and 111 are the best because you are raised. If i was on the floor i would prefer the first five rows at least. The only other times its been great is if there is a catwalk, mj doesn't so i think if your not in the first five rows and are short get a lower teir seat.

Dont be fooled by floor seats yeah you get a front view but if you are 10 or more rows you aren't going to see jack if your short

118 is right at the back of stage don't even bother with those seats

I would be tempted by the 112, and no 108 will be ok, i've sat there before (was just before a show started as i saw some friends there) and it seemed fine! I'll be in 105 and 106 for the concerts i'm going to :)

I would say 101 and 102 and 111 are just as good. I was front row at prince in the round which was amazing. I dont think many fans got the best seats for the 8th unless they were given tix or bought vip i think most got upper teir. Upper teir isn't so bad this arena is pretty good you get to see from all angles. The front floor seats as i said before are amazing if you get the first five rows but if you get someone tall infront its not so great. Thats why the lower teirs are best because you are raised.

Yeah, I also was hoping for a catwalk... it adds so much more to a show, imagine if he would do his solo numbers in the middle of the arena... and everyone gets a chance to at least for some minutes be close to Michael... not only the people in the first couple of rows... I've been to Queen, Madonna, AC/DC and Aerosmith shows, they all had catwalks and it was awesome... for everyone! Also Janet's surround catwalk was awesome!

It's either block 422 or 412 and somewhere in the back, i don't remember the exact location (he lives in China and we're in poor contact because he doesn't have the internet access) . He paid around 160 pounds including the fees.
Now we're wondering if it's a good idea to sell the ticket on viagogo. It might be an AEG ticket because there was no information about seat number and the transaction was confirmed very quickly but he's not sure about it.

AEG allocation tickets did not have seat numbers, but i believe they have many tix in that row and they allocate it for the people who buy 2 or more together next to each other. ;)

Yeah I couldn't find it anywhere! It's a bit worrying really if there's any problems with tickets etc it's gonna be hard to resolve it! The link in the confirmation email to contact them just takes you straight to that email page, so it's not gonna flash up to them as urgent or anything. :bugeyed

YES!
what if..say it's 3 days before the concert..or even 2..1!!! and you still haven't got the tickets from the "seller".. and you e-mail them and you get a reply"
thank you for your e-mail. You will be contacted in 3 working days or less"
well not gonna help..
'cause if you don't get the tickets we get better ones or money back, but.. we should be able to know that before going..especially for the people coming from differant countries(me-norway)
needs to know these kind of things

i emailed via
and they basically told me the AEG tickets will be sent out a few weeks in advance

Dear viagogo customer,

Sellers of your tickets will typically receive them from the event organisers 1-2 weeks ahead of the event. This is because each promoter prints and sends their tickets out at different times. Viagogo has no influence on the shipment or printing date from the promoters.

As you are located in the UK, getting your tickets in time should not be an issue. Your tickets come from our most trusted seller, so you should have them a few weeks in advance.

If you have not received an email confirming shipment 4 days before you are due to travel, please get in contact with us again and provide us with a substitute delivery address. This substitute address can be a hotel or anywhere you are staying the day of the concert. For a hotel, please provide the check-in name and date. We cannot arrange box office pick-ups.

Kind regards,

Howdy! I have been reading different members mention fraudsters on viagogo, official AEG tickets etc etc.

My question is, how do guys know which ticks are official AEG, how you can tell of a potential fraud??

Am i right in thinking that Viagogo only pass the money to the seller of the tickets once the buyer has received them, surely ending any fraudulent activity?

So far i have bought 1 ticket for the opening night in block A2 for over £400 and looking into buying more ticks from Viagogo. Basically, i am just wondering what to look out for??

Any advice would be much appreciated.

we know it's AEG because they said it themselves didn't they in an interview? Either Randy or someone that they're also selling tickets there..
You can see which seats are from AEG because they sell the SAME seats on all dates.
A2 row G,S,K,L.. ++
A1 row G
A3 row G..
B2 ROW A... and so on...
in the beginning all those tickets were sold at all dates (of course now the amount is getting smaller)

and then they're also good at sending confirmation e-mail pretty quick as they have no seller to "await confirmation" from

no the opposite. Then it's a good chance it's from AEG 'cause they are working together on this :)
so they don't have to "await approval"from AEG at all..so they send out the confirmation e-mail straight away most of the time

if u look through all of the dates its pretty easy to see which are the AEG tickets.as theres the same amount of tickets availalbe at approx the same price in the same sections rows. majority of the ticks from AEG are sold in batches upto 6 u have in the A blocks rows G,J L for example. and the row C 's that have just been added. the pattern is very easy to see if u check through the dates

I have a question: i MIGHT sell two tix for July 30th. I mean they were mine, i bought 'em during the presale, but i found another ticket when ticketmaster started selling tix from cancelled orders. The thing is those two tix are vertigo seats, i mean BK 416 i think. My question is who would buy such seats and for how much? I feel a little stupid for putting a price on 'em as they are waaaaay up there in the arena. Oh and is viagogo safe? Is there any other safe website in which i could sell 'em?

@ huge_mj_fan

Viagogo guarantee your tickets. If you do not receive them they will provide alternative or better seats for that performance. The seller has to provide proof that they shipped the tix to viagogo by a certain date. Only after you have confirmed you have received the tix does the seller get paid.

You read about it here: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/help.aspx?helpgroupid=236&Mode=2

If they cannot reseat you they will refund but that is unlikely as they are the official ticket partner and should have seats in reserve until right up to the show. It also not be a good business option for them.

Also, bear in mind that a decent percentage of the tix on sale were provided to viagogo direct from AEG.

Overall - I wouldn't worry.

I would say anything in the front of the A blocks are best then the lower tier 112 111 101 102 would be better than anything on the floor after A block especially since you have little ones, being that little higher up you won't have heads in the way. :)

Hi guys I have a few questions regarding purchasing tickets at viagogo.

1. When I buy my tickets will my credit/debit card be billed straight away (at the time of purchase) or when my tickets arrive?

2. Also I noticed they have a ticket guarantee. So if for some reason a problem arised with my ticket purchase will they offer me a refund or similar tickets for the SAME date as I originally purchased them for?

Reason I am asking is that I originally had 4 tickets for 12th July (now March 2010!) and had booked non-refundable flights, hotel, train tickets etc. So i'm just being extra careful this time incase something were to happen again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

1. No. Sometime after you have purchased (a couple of weeks for us) but they do not give the money to the seller. They hold on to it until your tickets arrive.

2. Yes. When the show for July 14th was postponed, they gave me three options. A refund, to attend the new show or new seats for new dates. I got tickets for 24th July. No additional charge.

They give a refund if the show is postponed, cancelled or you couldn't make it. However, when you purchase the tickets, you cannot cancel them.

Yeah I'm pissed off I bought Feb 24th. I don't even really wanna go anymore being as it's a Wednesday and hard to get time off work.

I ordered 4 tickets from viagogo on the 23rd May and they are still pending confirmation today. I rang viagogo today to express my concerns and was told the tickets should be confirmed today or tomorow and the reason for any delays were probably down to it being a bank holiday here in england. When I enquired about the seat numbers for my tickets they told me they are unsure as the promoters have not issued them with the tickets yet. I asked whether my tickets were coming directly from AEG or a private seller to which she replied 'directly from the promoter'. I must admit it put my mind at ease knowing this. I thought I would post this on here for those of you who might be a little worried or in a similar situation. I think most of the tickets on viagogo without seat numbers are coming directly from AEG!

Looks like theres definitely a few AEG tickets still over there. These are the ones I've noticed so far. (Upper tier)

It also looks like the whole front row of B block (row A) was reserved for AEG too.

yes according to the viagogo website...

"the seller has one business day to confirm the sale. As soon as the seller has confirmed, you will receive an email from us confirming the transaction and the delivery method. Please note that the transaction is not complete until you receive this email.

Your payment method will be authorised but will not be charged until the sale has been confirmed"

yeah it says that on their website or an email i got but it also said discretion will be used if ppl go over as to whether they will take action. tbh i doubt they will be to fussed as they want to make money. they dont seem as strict as TM. so i guess you could just use the name of someone who lives in the house with you or do u need to open a seperate account?

inregards to ppl talking about ticket limits.this is the replry i got from viagogo. so it looks like they will be strict in enforcing the rule

Dear user,

Per our agreement with the event promoters, only 6 tickets may be purchased per household. This means a maximum of 6 tickets per credit card / user account / shipping address.

For more details please check our Special Conditions: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/help.aspx?helpgroupid=1100596

We reserve the right to cancel tickets without prior notice purchased in excess of this number.

Kind regards,

Let us assure you that we are following up on this and have already contacted the seller. We will contact you with further information within two business days"
Has anyone run into this issue before should I start to worry, I am traveling from Miami to London and I am one of the thousands who has been affected by the rescheduled shows, Viagogo was one of my last options. Can someone please let me know if this happens sometimes, thanks

This is the first time I use Viagogo, I placed an order on Sunday for the July 16th show and I got an email from Viagogo today; "We are aware that you have placed an order which has not yet been confirmed by the seller. Let us assure you that we are following up on this and have already contacted the seller. We will contact you with further information within two business days"

I got the same email as you did (3 days after I ordered the tickets) and later on the same day I got my confirmation email. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about :)

no need to worry i think its an automated responce. u get the email after 48hrs regardless of if u booked the ticket over the weeked. they get 48hrs to confirm but thats business days. so u got the email cause it was 2 days since u booked but not 2 business days. the same happened to me and others i know u should get your confirmation by the end of tom

Wow, £400 is cheap for front row! My front row ticket was £600 I think. :mello: That is for the 4th show though so I guess that's why! It was a joint gift from a few people, as it means the world to me. But I agree with you who say money isn't really an object when it comes to dreams coming true!
