I have this channel and I will record it.
That's one of MJ best concerts.
The reason he was in very good shape: the Amsterdam concert was done on Sept 30th 1996 and then follows the Tunis concert on October 7th, that gave Michael 7 days break.
I attended this concert, freaking awsome; 60.000 people were singing with MJ during the whole show!!

Guys, just spoken to my contact there, for business reasons he couldn't speak about it clearly.
He said it is not confirmed 100% that the concert will be aired on Saturday but it is in the pipeline and he will let me know as soon as he gets a confirmation.

Tarak Ben Ammar was MJ's manager during the History tour and he has the biggest share stake in this channel, so as a tribute to MJ he bought the broadcasting rights for this concert in Tunis and it will be only aired on this channel.

the NessmaTv's owner had announced, during an interview, that the concert will be aired during Ramadan but there is no official date yet, just for your information, ramadan is starting the 22nd of August and is lasting 29 - 30 days. he said that Tarek Ben Amara had recorded the concert for private purpose only, and they're currently working on remastering the concert that he has because it's a simple VHS copy.

Yeah I know. I am a Pro in satellite stuff but this channel does not have a stream.
It used to be broadcasted via Hotbird which has a strong signal in Europe, but now operates only via Arabsat and Nilesat (very weak signal in Europe)

It's not worth it, you would need a 1.8m dish to get it all over Europe.
If you live in Africa or the Middle east, you can get it with a small dish

I can never, for the life of me, understand how the Dangerous shows and History shows were televised internationally but the Bad tour has been hidden in the back of the cupboard somewhere. It's as if people don't want the world to see the greatest at his greatest. Hey mates, big news, i was talking now to the owner of "Nessma TV" Mr Nabil Karoui, who came to make an interview at mosaique fm (1st private radio in Tunisia, i work there :p)

i tried to get a scoop news from him, but he refused, but assured me and told me that they own the broadcasting rights concert will be broadcasted in the near future,it was delayed many times due to copyright problems, An official press conference has been already scheduled for Saturday October 18th to announce the official date of bradcasting & the special michael jackson day at Nessma TV with exclusive footage of Michael jackson in the backstage during his concert in Tunisia and an entire report of his visit in Tunisia.

this is the link for the live stream of the conference that will be broadcasted on Mosaique FM on Saturday October 18th, it's in arabic language, it will be between 2pm & 6pm , i will inform you next week when exactly. For the non arabic users, i will translate directly after the conference and post everything in this thread.

Hi all, here's a short summary of tarak's interview yesterday, he just talked about the way they met, and how they collaborated during 1996/1997 , and how he was so close to mike & defended him against ppl claiming his child molestation, they didn't show something important.
he said this too many times "mike was like a 14 year old boy, he was so innocent, and all those lies about him were told because he was too shy to reply".

they asked him about the concert, he said just "go to watch this is it in Tunisia and after that we will show you his concert in Tunisia", he didn't put an exact date, but he just confirmed what i was talkin about during these past weeks, he purchased the rights to broadcast it, but unfortunately, he didn't announce when :p

but you know, someone important like Tarak Ben Ammar won't lie during a tv broadcasted live interview.

Just after the interview, i called "Elyes El gharbi" (program director in Nessma tv & Ex-Colleague) ,he also didn't give me an exact date but when i insisted, he just told me that the concert will be broadcasted before the end of 2009 .

So is his dancing. Both are great though.

Obviously I love his voice to bits and think its the best voice ive ever heard, please dont get me wrong.

But his dancing just captivates me. I had heard him singing years before I became a proper fan and loved his voice and loved his songs.

But I got the number ones DVD and watched all the music videos, and just watching him dance. I fell completely in love with it all!

Then of course I got the Bucharest DVD and...........of course you can imagine what that meant to me. The Billie Jean performance from Bucharest just hooked me for life.

It makes me very sad thinking back to when I first fell in love with him a few years ago and knowing that he passed away before I could see him live. These thoughts have only just hit me recently as the first few months after his death where all thoughts about his kids and the fact that we had lost such a wonderful man.

If this is ever to be broadcasted, we will know. I doubt the thread starer forgot it.
And calling it BS is a bit harsh.
And time isn't against. Just because TII is now, doesn't mean no one is going to watch it, if they bring the show next year. (if it ever was to be a concert and not just some special about Michael in Tunis)

If they want to show the concert, they need broadcast rights from the estate. And to me it looks like the estate isn't ready right now with managing such things.
