If there are any londerners about who picked up the london paper yesterday as in thursday you may have read my column in the london talk section "It's unfair on *****s Brave Kids" << They gave the tittle.. My first column :D
but anyways to be honest i was pretty much inspired and spoke what i felt and read on this forum..
This is what i sent them they did adjust bits but i'm glad it got printed...I hope you guys feel the same way :)

"I was part of the billions of viewers watching Michael Jacksons memorial on TV on Tuesday like most if not all I was really moved by Paris’s words about her daddy, but what killed me today was reading the papers that criticized the fact a little girl got the courage to speak up and show them the human side of the pop star we know. Now that Michael is gone they need a new target to pick on and his children are now that target. What she did was very brave and my heart goes out to Paris, Prince and Blanket but I can’t believe that even after his memorial something bad has to be said. Did it really hurt the media that bad? The fact that “***** *****” was actually “the best father you could ever imagine” he wasn’t what they made him for most of his life, so what do they do? They decide to say how wrong it was for the Jackson Family to let her say her few words. The media may be a powerful tool but you can’t get more powerful then teary eyed children who have lost a father, she made the world feel the same emotion at the very same time something the media can only wish to do.

May I also add the memorial was a fitting send of for the King of Pop. A lot of people may not understand this “new found obsession” with Michael Jackson and his death they don’t understand why the world is grieving for him? Michael Jackson is not just a pop star his a humanitarian who has done a lot for this world, yes I may not have never meet Michael and don’t know him personally, Heck I wasn’t even alive during his thriller days but I like a lot of people have a lot of respect for him and I just hope even though I’m already seeing headlines like “Body was not in casket” “Michael to be buried without his brain” They finally let him rest in peace and I just hope and pray they don’t take away Prince, Paris and Blankets Childhood away from them something that Michael tried to give them, a childhood he never had."

Well..I loved your article very well written. I just have one problem.......I wish you had not referred to him as "W**** J****" he hated that name and found to be very hurtful. I also found it to be very disrespectful to call him that. Maybe you should of added that to your article. How he should of been addressed as Mr. Jackson, or Michael Jackson. So unfortunately you wrote your first article and already wrote it like the pro's. disrespecting Michael's name. Please remember this for future articles, sometimes the good things you are writing about are over shadowed by the way the subject is addressed. Respect will always reap its own reward.

He/she was accentuating the contrast between what the media has tried to convey Michael as and what Paris just proved was the real him. It was in quotation marks after all. Used in context as a tool of irony and mockery of the media, using that otherwise disgusting name-pair is excusable, in my opinion. But only then! :P Good article!

The media should burn in hell. I don't get how journalists aren't ashamed of themselves.

Well i got 78% That said more! and had a lovely comment in todays paper "To your columnist.... (It's unfair on *****s brave kids) I salute you. For even though you weren't born when Michael Jackson was in his prime, you manged to explain what millions of people are thinking including every person i know. The British tabloids are renowned for being merciless, but even for them Michael Jackson infatuation has gone a bit too far. And now that most of us have seen and heard how amazing Michael Jackson really was, they are trying to divert their attention to those closest to him in what is probably their darkest hour."

:)

The media should burn in hell. I don't get how journalists aren't ashamed of themselves.

Your right sometimes i wonder why i'm going to do a degree in it.. its so evil!
