Well the first bit is defiantly Thriller, Smooth Criminal has the frame with the white suit and when he flips the guy using his hand, by the looks of it the gold pants are from the They Don't Care About Us bit released by CNN originally, and then again for the Smooth Criminal flip, the girl in the second frame could be anything from Dirty Diana to You Rock My World (Oh I love that song and he never got to perform it :() and the bit where he slides forward on his knees looks very like Dirty Diana too!

What do you guys think, agree/disagree with anything I got from the clips??

I think the jumping through the windoW COULDDD be the intro to him coming on stage each night..remeber he always makes it big...it wouldnt be as big as build up maybe as a spaceship but could be more like dangerous...he jumps through window and then stands there for a while...then goes into first song....

We have seen almost 60 sec. from TII now and my heart is aching so badly. How will I endure more than an hour, then when the movie is out? Just heartbreaking. His voice :(

Now that was awesome! That was a solid 23-24 seconds! I imagine this will be a 1 minute promo. Now, will it air only once during the VMA's or will they play it several times throughout the show? Based on what I learned in advertising, if they only play it once then it won't have much effect. If they are smart they should focus on frequency instead of reach. They should have that baby cranking out at least 6-10 times in that 2 hours. Then people will remember it. That's the key, don't just play it once during a 2 hour show or 98% of the audience will forget it. I hope Sony didn't make that mistake.

It's incredibly painful... Seeing all of Michael's artistic visions, his creative dreams, his unprecedented comeback and decades more of the magic only he can bring fade away forever in the blink of an eye, due to the negligent hands of another. Michael had nearly a decade of dance and music bottled up inside due to all the negative events that plagued him since Invincible, and finally he was able to focus on his art, he was exhilarated. All of this had to happen on the eve of the greatest concert series ever. Ugh...

^ It wasn't the full 2 minute+ one from last night, it looked like a condensed 30 second version. Obviously the 2 minute version will not be played in average commercials since that would be too expensive. The version from the VMA's is meant exclusively for the website and for the movie theaters (Coming Soon). The version I seen tonight will probably be the main commercial 30 second spot. Keep an eye out, I imagine we will be seeing it a few times.
