Yeahh i went yesterday... its good.. theres a lot of stage costumes from all the different eras, lots of gloves and his anti gravity lean shoes! You will love it!

Also there were lots of people just there to see his stuff but i heard a lot of comments like ''wow i didnt know he gave so much to charity and was in the guinness world book of records for it, you never see that side to him''

Plus the MJ Shop is awesome at the end... expensive though! £29.99 for a teddy!! lol

I went yesterday.
It really was the most incredible thing.
Id always dreamed of seeing something like this and now I have Im still in shock.
The items they had there were more then amazing.
I cant believe I was seeing stuff that I had seen thousands of times in pictures, magazines, short films ect.
Two of the things that shocked me the most had to be the Smooth Criminal outfit and the NeverLand sign.
My heart really did skip a beat when I saw the costume and I was full of shock and emotion when I saw that I sign.
I lost count how many times I went back to see it,I really could not believe it was THE NeverLand sign.
I dont wanna say too much but for true Michael fans it really is the most amazing, incrediably breath taking thing you will ever see in your life.

It was good, I managed to take some pics but I almost got caught, but I had to turn the flash of so some of the pics were blurry, but the costumes and the neverland sign, the throne were awesome. Also the costumes he was going to wear for this is it were absolutely stunning

I'll upload pictures soon, but I couldn't take so many cause there were guards all over.

I went yesterday and it's amazing, you will LOVE it.....the stuff you see there will just blow your mind. It's MICHAEL MAGIC......I even TOUCHED his costumes :swoon:

You could spend a good 2 hours in there, but I was in there for about an hour....I kept going back to the outfit he wore in the Bad Tour, I just wanted to FEEL it.....

Oh and the Smooth Criminal outfit that he wears for This is It.....magic, you can feel powerful energy off that garment let me tell ya

The only sad part for me was seeing his coustumes that he would have been wearing for This is It concert......just make sure you see the SHOES :bugeyed:

and i touched the costumes too, especially the gold pants!!!! :D
the neverland throne was sooo much bigger than i thought it would be!
the hardest thing to see was that orange thermos his kids would pack him snacks in!

i adore the new costumes like that blue suit j5? and the black suit that looks like dangerous.

I agree - the exhibition is amazing - I don't want to spoil it for anyone but there is one very small very personal touch towards the end which made me cry - it kinda reminds you that after all this king of pop title, there was a human being :-(

Also, just so you are aware, because photos are banned there will be a brochure but they have not finished printing it yet - at some point within the next two weeks it will be available in the shop and online.

Hi!

Our tv station is doing very positive reportage (um..article?) about TII and they have asked me to give a statement after they found out i was at the exhibition...but i am not going to participate that way, because i have a 'doctor's excuse' for 27th-29th and don't want to get in trouble with UNI and i am not a kind of person to expose on tv if not necessary...

They already have an interview with dancers and KO...and they found out that i was at the exhibition. I went there on the opening, 28th of october, 10am…
I want this to be the best possible... i did write something about it, but i would really like to read a nice review of someone other before i send mine to one reporter...so that people would see what kind of inovator and perfectionist Mike was....and also how much did he help and care for others...

Pleasee help...

It is amazing! YOU MUST go!

There's SO MUCH INCREDBIBLE STUFF! The Neverland sign, gloves, fedoras, awards, RTT outfit, Leave Me Alone rocket from the video, the Scream guitars, so many different outfits from videos and tours (e.g. Dangerous Tour Jam jumpsuit and WBSS leotard and HIStory Tour robot suit).

But best of all is the This Is It section with all his finished costumes for the O2 shows. It shows the Thriller outift with all his backing dancers ones as well, plus the zombie bride hanging above. The WBSS outfit rocks, as do all the others!

I went yesterday. It was good. :)

Someone said to me that they thought it was a rushed thing.........but it does have a lovely comprehensive collection of artifacts.......( hark at me lol! ) sorry in english.........yeah it was good!!! Lots of lovely things.personal to MJ...........

A few things stood out to me as particularly lovely.........the things that showed us a glimpse into MJ's private life.......and also his 'just being him' life..... it will make sense when you go and see for yourself!!!

Lots of tv screens playing music and vids as you go round......

one last important thing!!!! wish I had known in advance really...........so I could have prepared........

they have lots of large red hardbacked books for fans to sign their own personal tributes in.............

So maybe go prepared of what to write......maybe add a pic? If I had known in advance I would have prepared for this......

As it stands I wrote something on the very back page of one of them.and must confess took a whole page of A4:yes:

so go and enjoy.and write your tributes!

30-10-2009, 10:13 PM
one more thing to add.......we were told that the memorial wall had been moved to inside the exhibition............but it isnt in there. :-(

I should have taken a pen and paper because it described all of them, but some of them were seen in the Access Hollywood video with the designer.

From memory - WBSS (crystal shoulder pads), Smooth Criminal (suit and anti-gravity shoes), J5 (beaded suit), Heal The World (with metal and embroidery from around the world. Thriller (red jacket with backup dancer outfits and dead bride puppet from the ceiling meant to fly over the crowd), Billie Jean (white top, fedora, light-up trousers and glove).

There were a lot more including all the hologram TII tickets!

I LOVED the Exhibition, i went today and thought it was amazing.
The throne room was very good, i was amazed as i walked under the neverland arch.
One of my highlights was seeing the tour outfits, i personally liked seeing the gold outfit from the bucharest dangerous show :D
I thought it was great how we could write our own messages at the end, hopefully they'll be sent to the family.
Overall, great day, its worth going to. :)

31-10-2009, 05:41 PM
It was cool...
The highlight for me was the BAD tour silver shirt !
We couldnt take pics...But, I simply put my phone in my front pants pocket and made videos as i walked around to each section...;-)
there's better quality footage on youtube, but it feels good knowing i have my own footage too ;-)
If u can make it..go..Loved it.

ps, One thing I didnt like was ..Some of the info seemed like it wasn't very well researched..
I felt like I knew more about MJ and his stuff than the people displaying and describing it.

I went yesterday. Not much stuff is under glass. Most of the costumes are on stages with barriers in front - not close enough to touch, but close enough to get a really good close look. The most interesting bits for me were:
1) The Jackson 5 music contract with all the terms & conditions and Joe's signature
2) The Dangerous (gold) & Bad (silver) tour bodysuits
3) The TII shoes! They were in a glass case but got a really good close look at them - even underneath. They had an MJ logo on the sole inside and were completely smooth underneath. Not a grip in sight! Perfect for moonwalking ;)

Its just too expensive for me.......especially after I got a souvenir ticket and brought an Opus.

But then again I'm desperate to see the dangerous tour outfit.....last time I saw it was when I saw him in Wembley in 1992. I'm also desperate to see the "This is it" costumes as I was going to see them on the 28th of July. I'd love to see everything else as well.

If Michael did an exhibition himself he wouldn't have such expensive ticket prices......

for me it's the oppisite. if he was still here I wouldn't bother seing his clothes..I'd rather save the money and see him in person.
but now I can't anymore:( and I feel seing his clothes (and touch them when sequrity is not watching me,lol) is one of the closest thing I can ever get to him now! his clothes..costumes! feel the magic!
and see things that's a prt of history!! things from his music videos..
just seing the clothes speaks for themselves. he was all about magic and perfection. And to me they're not just a piece of fabric..they are so much more because he wore them! michael jackson has been wearing them..oh gosh

Is it easy travelling thru London to get to the o2 by sat nav? So scared of taking the wrong turning and ending up somewhere else?
Also, for the exhibition, the O2 website says:

Parking for The O2 bubble is available at an hourly rate in Car Parks 2 and 4.

Car Park 2 is approximately 300m from the main entrance at The O2 and Car park 4 is approximately 350m.

Hourly rates on non-arena event days:

0 to 2 hours - £2.50
2 to 8 hours - £6.00
8 to 12 hours - £8.00
Over 12 hours within 24hr period - £10.00

Tickets are automatically issued upon arrival at the ticket barrier and parking can be paid for at the pay on foot machines within each car park before leaving.

Is this the right place to park our car?

Awww :huggy: I went to the exhibition on Saturday and I know exactly what you mean.I wanted to cry as soon as I stepped inside.I was desperately holding back tears just watching the film when you first go in
I nearly lost it a few times going round especially in the charity part and the Neverland room.
I am so glad I went though and I didn't feel that there was anything on display there that Michael wouldn't agree of being shown.
I asked in the shop about a program and she said it should be available next week and hopefully it will be available on the site.

Yes I noticed the hole in the gold pants lol

moonwalker5885- You should be fine for parking so long as there is no event on.Disney on ice was on last weekend. When there is an event on parking leaps up to around about £20 so becareful.May be better to park out of town and tube in.
If you have a cinema ticket you get so many hours free parking but it is first come first served with spaces and also you can only use certain car parks.

I went last saturday (7th Nov). Found it very emotional especially seeing the model of how the stage would have been and the clothes he would have worn at the O2. I was told that they were finished after his death (not sure how true that is) but there were quite a few of us finding that room difficult. Really enjoyed chatting with other fans before going in. Would recommend it to anyone who can get there. One member of staff told us that it was only going to a couple of other countries but nothing yet had been confirmed. As for the shop Tshirts were around £25, mugs £10 so quite pricey but alot of people were buying, including me.

There's an MJJC meet-up that Beccabubbles is organising for the 23rd Jan if anyone is interested. Met up with these guys on Halloween to see TII at the o2 and of course being MJ fans they are all a phenomenal bunch. I really can't reccommend MJJC meet ups enough. Its great to have people to share your love with and to spend a day Michaeling:

I went yesterday as I was at the O2 for a concert. I was really impressed. Seeing Michael's jackets and stage costumes from the tours I'd seen and then personal things from Neverland and his handwriting etc was really worth it. The combination of everything there made me feel so close to him. There are video clips playing and an introduction at the start that have been really well put together. I didn't feel sad, it felt like I was near Michael. The only upsetting bit was signing the condolence book and seeing all the This Is It constumes. I feel quite hyper after seeing everything there, if you can go I definately recommend it!

Just come out thought it was amazing. A must see for any fan. It would take about an hour to get round at quiet times but I was surprised how busy it was ( I went at 10am) so had to queue at each exhibit to read the plaques. Dissapointing there's still no programmes of the exhibit itself. You can't take photos yet you can't buy a book with them in either. Comin back to the O2 to see Pink in december so another visit may be in order and hopefully they'll have programmes by then.

Went today, so amazing. Definately worth it if you can!
I loved the neverland room and the costumes where amazing...my friend was amazed as cause they are made out of quite 'modern' material they hold in heat. So when he was on stage he must have been boiling!!
I agree I was hoping there would be a souvenier brochure as no photos could be taken. But got the This is it photo book instead

Well i went to the exhibition yesterday. I was very nervous before i went in and was really worried about blubbering like an idiot in front of lots of people!!

I felt overwhelmingly sad walking up to the O2, and i think that forever, whenever i see the O2 i will feel desperately sad for what might have been.

It was very busy, which i was pleased to see and there were people of all ages there. It was £20 per ticket, incl booking fee.

I thought it was lovely. When you first go in you are shown a 3 minute film, just a collaboration of various songs. This was where i first had to stop myself crying - prepare yourself for 'I'll be there'!!! From then on there are various 'rooms' with all different things in. I will not go into detail as i don't want to spoil it for people who haven't gone yet.

I will say that it is good to prepare something to write for Michael, as at the end you are able to fill in a memorial book which will be passed onto his family. I wish i had known this as i could have prepared something. This was the part where i could not hold it together any longer and did break down. I wrote in the book, but afterwards wish i had written so much more - i was just very upset and couldn't think straight.

It felt wonderful to be so close to his things and clothes, and only wish i could have touched and held some of his things. I wish there had not been anyone else there!

I am probably going to go again as i didn't really absorb it properly, as i spent the whole time trying not to cry, and at some points just wanted to leave as i felt i couldn't take it anymore. There was quite a solemn atmosphere and my Husband did say that he had seen other people crying, including men. It felt quite surreal and unbelievable that i was visiting the O2 to see his things because he is not here anymore. I felt very, very sad for the rest of the day and today. I really don't think i am ever going to get over this.

I think when i go again i will go in the week when it may be quieter.

There is a gift shop at the end of the exhibition - be warned it is VERY expensive - approx £35-£40 for a hat, and approx £30 for a t-shirt. I purchased a couple of posters, a This Is It picture book, and a mug. I wish i could have purchased more, although did feel that things were very overpriced.

There is only one thing that i wanted to ask everyone - one of the tops on display is the long sleeve gold one that does up under the crotch, and has the top corner folded over to reveal a black underneath. (I can't remember when he wore it). In the pictures of him the black flap is turned over on his right hand side - the top on display was turned over on the left hand side. has anyone got any pictures of him wearing it with the left hand side turned over???? Does anyone know if both sides turned over??
I assume that he had many of the same tops to wear on tour, but this is bothering me slightly in case it is not really his?

It felt very final for me - there is nothing else for me to do or see now. I am waiting for my This Is It dvd which i have pre-ordered, and my opus, but after that - what is there???

I think that if you are able to go, then you should. It felt very special and almost sacred to me - i just hope that he didn't mind his things being on display.

I know exactly how you feel loopy :huggy:
I went last weekend and it was my first trip to London since .......
As we drove to the hotel we caught sight of the o2 across the water and as soon as I saw it I just burst into tears
I was really dreading the exhibition as I didnt know how I would cope plus the fact of it being in the o2.It really is heartbreaking walking round looking at all his belongings when in fact we should be there seeing him on stage
I too felt guilty as I didn't know if I should go or not, would Michael approve of this.
I nearly lost if a few times in there especially with the film at the beginning and the room with all the info/awards of the charities he supported.
I was in there 3 hours and that was without going back to have another look at any of the rooms. It was really busy and we had to queue to look at each item.
I did take something which I had written out already for the condolence book but all the books were full which was a dissapointment as people were writing over other peoples messages.
I managed to find a little corner and write something but it would of been nice to have more space. Also other people waiting to write in the books were looking over your shoulder and reading while you were writing which was a bit off putting as it would of been nice to write something and have a moment of privacy :(
I never got to sign the boards so I was looking forward to writing in the condolence book :(
I would love to go back again when it is quieter but that is unlikely as it was a 9 hour drive each way to get there last time.
I also know what you mean about this is the end.Its a horrible feeling :( It scares me to think of how it will be in 1...2....3 years time

No and they are really strict.I went to take a photo of my two boys infront of the exhibition sign before you go in and was told you are not allowed to take any photos from the moment you step onto the carpet lol

A friend and I went last sunday, we didn't book tickets online but bought them there. The exhibition was lovely, but heartbreaking at the same time; it was an odd experience seeing costumes I have seem MJ wearing in countless vids and pics over the years just a metre away from me... on a mannequin :-( Also sad seeing all the wonderful TII props and costumes which we'll never get to see Mike wear on stage :(

We both wrote in the book at the end, which they say is being sent to the Jackson's. Including time in the shop at the end (fab but ££), I would say it took about 1hr 30mins from the moment we entered the exhibition.

Well worth it :-D

I'm a little annoyed I thought we would be allowed to take photos/videos... what on earth are we going to do with them? Its not as if anything is Top Secret!.... £12.99 doesn't sound too bad.... although I ain't seen the size of it yet...! I went on November 8th - I really wanted to touch the spaceship used for Leave Me Alone lol! Was too scared to though. There was a security guard in every room, keeping an eye out. It was so strange to think that Michael wore those outfits, and the Neverland sign...really weird to think that it's travelled all this way! It was the sign to Michael's home!

Anyway, it was well worth going to see - hopefully lots of fans will have the opportunity to go!

maybe the picture was flipped the opposite way? sometimes they do that with pics. you know, so that it all appears in mirror image.

Does anybody know if they are actually planning a souvenir guide?? I do think it was pretty poor not allowing photographs but then not actually providing a guide available with photos already in.

I'm also pretty sure there was a mistake in one of the write ups. I'm sure it stated that HIStory was recorded in 1988!

I was amazed to see everything, from Awards we saw him accepting, motown records, clothing.
The pieces that took my brath away were:
-"Ghosts" shirt and "Beat It" magic cape just swinging blown by the air-con ...waiting to be resurected...
-NEVERLAND gate (at this point I was really stuck as I did not imagine I would HAVE TO walk through it in these circumstances, and anywhere else than actual Neverland)..Took me quite a while,
-the painting with my favourite quote from "Are You Listening?"
-piano with the clock, time 10 to 3 as I can remember...
-A GIRL in stone from Neverland again....
I really wanted to ride that "Leave Me Alone" rocket....it even had a small indent, so I thought, maybe Bubbles made it...
-"Sream" helmet and uniform
Just as if Mchael was about to walk in..

The shop is kitchy and overpriced...some good T-SHIRTS..

It breaks my heart - those 'TII' tickets should have been given to the fans for much less than £75+handling, that was so ridiculous! I just wanted to rip them off the wall and distribute them to those looking round on the 8th!

 I was so worried I'd end up being thrown out for doing that! Then again I didn't have anyone to shield me from view haha.

Also, a souvenir guide would be good :) I think that maybe they should have thought it out a bit better before opening the exhibition, but I guess all of this was rather sudden. It was amazing though.

I hope they have this souveneir book ready for when i go on the 6th Dec! Omg, i cant wait to touch his things. Is it behind a rope thing where you 'lean' over n touch, if you get what i mean, like cordened off or can you just walk straight up to it & touch it.

Some things are in glass cabinets such as the awards his belts etc.The other things are within reach but it depends how brave you are and how long your arms are!
Around the car is a rope thing and also the rocket and statue are just roped off but are in very easy reach. There are loads of finger prints on the car lol.Everybody was touching the rocket when I went, discreetly of course!
The outfits are hard to reach and I didn't risk it.You need to really lean over to reach them, and they are not on floor level.

I asked the girl in the shop about a book and was told that the book would be filled with pics of the exhibits. She said it was so rushed to get the exhibition up and running and that is why the books not printed yet.

When you see one of those Thriller puppets which was to be used for TII you can't believe just how big they were going to be! That was going to be one hell of a show

I went to The Official Michael Jackson Exhibition @ the O2 on Friday and I loved it!! It was amazing!!! There were so many great things to see. I really loved the original ‘Beat It’ lyrics, that was special. At the end there was a book that we could write in and it would be given to his family, so I wrote a little something. I went to the MJ shop and I wanted to buy the whole shop but my mum wouldn’t let me!!!

We noticed that too...
we did a bit of touching (clothes ;) ) and snapped some photos but it was hard ;)

do the sequrity say anything about not touching the costumes? lol..stupid question, but I see and hear about people touching the costumes! I thought that was even more strict than photos

They do. We touched... and they appeared all of a sudden from nowhere and said 'no touching' Since that moment they've been following us a bit!
So be careful if you want to touch, make sure you're not seen (though we did just this and they still saw it).

The shop is expensive, people wander round it but dont buy much. However I did get a few things for my daughter for christmas pressies, my fav is the mj bracelet.

That's a point actually. Always check the times! You can get the 188 bus or as you said do the DLR. On the day go to www.tfl.gov.uk where you can check what's running and the journey planner will tell you an alternative route if there is any engineering work going on.

Im going on saturday i cant wait, Does anyone know more about the costumes that are there? Im guessing all the tour ones are genuine (although i am sure that he didnt use the same bad tour shirt for the whole of the second leg :P so there is probs plenty more floating arround out there). Is the remember the time one from the video, or from a live performance? or simply a replica? Smooth criminal outfit is it the one from the original video or the TII green screen? And which gloves are on display, the original one from 1983 or just one from a tour? I realise that the organisers of the exhibition may not have all this information but its driving me mad with curiosity :P

I took the Thames Clipper from London Bridge Pier...it only takes 30 mins and is quite restful. Came back at twilight and the city views from the river reminded me of the 'Smooth Criminal ' night cityscape.
You can get a 30% or so discount on Clipper tickets if you have an all day travel card.

Just got back, it was amazing. Its just so strange thinking that I was standing inches away from things he has worn and touched. Couldn't help but have a little cry, especially in the this is it section :(
Then spent over £100 of my mums money in the shop! It's all going away for Christmas though. That and the opus will be pretty much all i get. It's going to be a very MJ christmas!
Anyway I would definately recommend the exhibition, was much bigger than i expected and an absoloutely fascinating experience.

It truly is amazing. I went on Wednesday and the exhibition is HUGE! I was on my own and spent an hour and a half just gawking at the stuff. Tried to touch the gold pants but security kept looking at me! I recommend anyone go and I'm looking forward to seeing it again with MJJCers in Jan. The end had me tearing up though when they had a video and signing the condolence books, which will be sent to Michael's family. I found a whole page and wrote a mini essay!

Yeah, I know what you mean. It totally broke my heart and had me in floods of tears but at the same time it is touching.

I touched it too! I got up really close, checked around for security and then a guy standing next to me said "Are you going to try and touch it?" I looked really guilty and said "yes, I really want to" and he said "yeah so do I, lets go for it" and we both touched it together :D

I went on Saturday and as soon as we walked into the 02, before we even got into the exhibition, I just burst into tears and my boyfriend asked why I was crying and I told him it was because we should have been seeing Michael live and instead we were seeing the exhibition, it made me feel so sad. Then I started crying again when the video started in the actual exhibition bit.

I did really enjoy the exhibition tho, spent all my christmas money in the shop and had to restrain myself from spending more! I really want to go again, so hopefully I can make it to the meet up in January :)

I'm going at the beginning of January, so unfortunately I won't be there on the 23rd.

But I have another question, if I order the tickers from Ticketmaster, do I have to come exactly at the time that I have to choose when I buy the tickets, or can I come at any time during that day?

I went to this exhibition on Monday. I think they did a good job. One of my favourite things was a video they showed showing some of Michael's dance influences. Bill Bailey is one I was not aware of, so it was good to see him. This is the kind of thing we should have seen more of in the past.

Also the "In God We Trust" jacket from 2001 was one item of clothing I was hoping to see & I did. It is truly amazing! There is an absolutely huge picture that's the same as the one in my signature. I was pleased that I didn't see any "*****" references. There were some items that were missing like the blue, gold & black Wanna Be Starting Something outfit & a couple others, but basically, I'd sum up the exhibition as "beautiful" & "touching". It was good to see Michael being honoured yet it wasn't easy, if you understand what I mean.

I'm glad I went. I'm going to get one of the exhibition books.

So I went to the exhibit about a week and a half ago and I absolutely loved it. My mom who isn't much of a fan teared up and cried about 3 times. First, you enter and they show you a video. As you proceed you will see quotes that he has said or that people have said about him. His quote the one about "if you are born knowing you are love and die knowing you are love, then everything that happens in between doesn't matter' (something like that) was there. They had all his outfits from "this is it" and they even had the "neverland sign" from the ranch. His rolls royce from the 80's was there too, an antique piano, and a bunch of other stuff from his house. A collection of gloves from all colors, shoes, outfits, hats, etc. They talked about his charity work, and they talked about how fast the o2 tickets were sold. One thing that really got everyone emotional was this display in where they show how Paris, prince, and blanket would pack Michael a snack for when he would go to rehearsals. His videos were also constantly playing, And there was a letter from Ronald Reagan writing to MJ about how happy he was that he was doing well after the burning incident. At the end they let you sign a book that the family will later get to see. Obviously there's a lot more, but I can't remember everything now. I did how ever take pictures of the store that i'll post later. There is also a website from the store where you can buy all the clothes, items, etc online. I did like how at no point did they ever mention his skin disease, or the molestation charges. After all, its his talent and who he was that is really important... not all that other junk.

Oh, and they also had the original, hand written paper on where Michael wrote beat it, and they had a bunch of his music awards and charity awards.
=)

Back when the exhibition was announced it was mentioned that it will go to 3 cities, first one London. And found out it closes on the 31st as I asked a staff member at the o2.

WOW! That is AMAZING!!! King of Pop rules forever!!!

At the end of the exhibition you come into the shop, which sells solely MJ merchandise. They sell t-shirts, mugs, posters, key rings, jewellery etc.

I went on the 13th.. I loved it! The items on show were amazing!

I do think that it was pretty small though considering the vast amount of items they could have displayed.

Originally, I wasn't able to go to the exhibition but it looks like it's been extended until the end of February (it was going to be until the end of Janaury wasn't it?). Are these dates correct? If they are, I think I might be able to go in the half-term holiday!

was i the only one who didnt enjoy it?
I might give it a second change the day was a difficult day when i went tho

I went yesterday and can't say I enjoyed it. It upset me a lot & I cried. I found it too personal... like I was invading his privacy. I kind of wished I hadn't gone. :(

I'm so glad they extended it. I was supposed to go to London with my mother in March, but when I heared the exhibition was extended till the end of february, we decided to go a bit earlier. So now I'm going to see it :D Thought I wasn't able to. Really looking forward to it!
Probably going to the exhibition on tuesday 23, (february)

Motsey,
I didn,t enjoyed it either.
it was magical, but my heart was burning. i felt so alone, even tho many people were there.
Everybody was excited and i?
I went through the halls there crying my eyes out....
And then in the end you come all of the sudden in a commercial world and they want to sell all kind of things.
No, i didn,t liked it and i turned my back and went for a enormous cup of coffee to find myself again.

The one thing I hated about the exhibition was the flask and lunchbox at the end. That was too personal, there was no need for it. Plus I didn't stay long in the TII room as it was a bit too much for me. Other than that I loved it. But Saturday felt so rushed and there were so many people, I prefered doing it on my own as I could take my time and be alone with my thoughts.

I went there on saturday, to the fan day. Have to say the whole day in general was great.

But...
... when I saw the o2 for the first time I was in tears. I just couldn't believe it, it was the place where Michael was supposed to give concerts

I was nervous before, I didn't know what to expect, didn't know how to react.
I mean, I can not deny that I enjoyed seeing Michaels stuff eventhough it was too private, but I have known before what I'll see. Still I was very emotional, I looked at his stuff and didn't know what to think - I still don't know. I can't be happy that I saw them, because I know the reason WHY I saw them. Thankfully I went with a MJ fan that is really trying to cheer someone up, she was walking around with no expression too, but when she saw me getting too emotional, she tried to cheer me up and tried to make me smile.

Ive been 3 times & its beautiful looking at his tour costumes & clothes he wore, some of them still have cosmetics marks on them & its strange to think 'wow he actually wore that shirt & now im within touching distance' but when I got to the last bit where they have all his stuff ready for TII including shoes with 'MJ 02 Arena 2009' I just stood there & cried, its really devastating

I will go again before it closes though as it makes me feel close to him somehow :-(

I see how you wished that you wouldn't have gone.. But I was glad, i was there with my best friend, both mj fans, it was magical, yes we cried, but it really was something special.. Since we never got to meet michael, i swear, both of us felt like he was there with us, just enjoying this with us.. Crying and laughing with us.. This may sound weird, but i'm sure you understand..

go onto http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/ and get a 2-4-1 discount on the exhibition !!
i went yesterday and really enjoyed it although i wud have felt a little stung forking out £17 on a weekend for a single entry ticket, but if u go mid week and with a friend and with the offer i mentioned above it will cost u £7.50 each !! not bad ( it closes very soon though ! ). i really loved seeing all the tour costumes, the T.I.I. ones were amazing !! yes it felt weird and a little wrong to be looking at his personnal stuff as im not sure if he allowed this to go ahead or not but i felt close to him there and it was emotional arriving at the o2 and then at the exhibition entrance. had a great day im really glad i went. :cheeky:

Does anyone know if they charge the same for a ticket if you buy it at the 02 as they do on ticketmaster? Don't want to be restricted by a time (i.e: know I'll be late lol).

ticketmaster normally charge a booking fee
so i think purchasing tickets at the o2 will be cheaper
but if u check out my earlier post above it is a lot cheaper ( that is if u have a train ticket ! ) heres the link

I'm going, well that means when I can go on time. We have tickets to go to london with the Eurostar for monday, but it's not sure if the trains are riding, cause of the trainaccident last monday in Brussel.
I'm checking the Eurostarsite every day. I'm really nervous, there are only some limited places for people who really need to go, then you go to lille first and from there to london. I hope we can go on monday, we planned to go this week so that we can see the exhibition.

Hope it all turns out well and we planned to go to the exhibition on tuesday.

I went to the exhibition last night again for the final time, it was brilliant, if anyone wants to go, I'd recommend it, you get a free 3D ticket, I believe them to be the spares left over from the TII tour, they're really nice. Also, I decided to buy the programme, it was a little expensive, but worth it, has most of the items featured from the exhibition, I am a bit disappointed a few items were left out where they could've easily fitted them in. I believe the exhibition is moving to Tokyo next.

Aww thats great, so glad you had a good time. I went to the exhibition 4 times :) Wanted to go again this week but no one wanted to come with me lol. I wanted a 3D ticket!! Thats so cool that they're giving them away :) And I agree with you on the program, they could have fit every item in the book if they wanted too but its still great!! :)

On their FB page they are said they were giving away the souvenir tickets. I'm going tomorrow and as nice as it is come tomorrow I will have two souvenir tickets that I got for free, I opted for the refund for my original TII ticket. I just think its a bit unfair when some people are actually still waiting for their tickets.
