[This Is It]

Which unreleased songs do you really want to hear? Which titles are most intriguing and what sort of songs are you expecting? I know we can't be fussy, but still!

I really want to hear some of his most recent work, like The Future (which I expect to be quite Black Eyed Peas like in The E.N.D. - very futuristic, like 2000 Watts) and Imma Be Missing You (James Brown tribute), both produced and confirmed by will.i.am. Then there's also the work with the likes of John Legend, Lenny Kravitz, Ne-Yo, Akon, Kanye West etc. - to see what he came out with from artists that respected and admired each other should be pretty special. Plus some Invincible material would go down quite well, but less The Lost Children and more Threatened/Unbreakable!

And then there are the early demos of songs that evolved into others, like Chicago 1945 to Smooth Criminal and Hot Fever (early TWYMMF).

I'd prefer some HIStory and Dangerous stuff to OTW and Thriller, although some new Bad-era material would rock!

Then there are the songs fans have wanted for years like Men in Black, as well as very interesting titles like Behind the Mask, Goin' To Rio, Buffalo Bill and People Always Have To Make Some Sort of Joke; there are so many more I could mention!

Unfortuantely, I don't think he ever actually recorded the duet with Freddie Mercury for "There Must Be More To Life Than This." There was fan-made one with the vocals of MJ and Mercury, but it's not real.

Basically, I believe these songs will be released to us in time, but only in pieces, like Tupac.

Guys don't be surprised if "Man In Black" is either 1) leaked or 2) released some time in the near future.

I've been told someone who used to be in a trading community left this circle after trading for the song and word is it will probably be leaked. Also keep in mind only a few months ago it was registered by Bryan Loren and the Estate in the BMI repetoire (along with other Bryan Loren/MJ outtakes; such as Seven Digits etc).

I believe Sony leaked the Another Day sample and that we'll see that sometime in the future as well. I think they did it just to see the response from fans.

Carousel was released on the Thriller Special Edition...except it was under 2 minutes. The full version is about 3 to 4 minutes long

i remember this board banned them from being posted, but if you look on other sites i'm sure you'll find them.

i'd love to hear anything from after invincible, mainly between 2005 and 2009. also the bad sessions including outtakes and the sessions (+outtakes) from invincible and history.

i think it would be nice if they released a number of albums with different songs on them, rather than collating them all into one big box set, that way we'll have more things to look forward to in the future and it will keep michael's music fresh and in the public eye.

that's just my personal opinion :)

There Must Be More To Life Than This is a really great yet sad track. The version I've heard isn't fake because they sing over each other in parts of the song.

I believe the best way is Michael s way ! Give us 1 new cd of between 15 to 17 songs. Every few years .

Keep him alive in his music . RELEASE nearly all songs as singles and heavy promote.

I know that there is no Michael to perform but using concepts and best ideas from top directors im sure short films could still be made given todays technology !

I Never Heard- written by Michael Jackson and Paul Anka and recorded in 1980. Michael and Paul had a following out shortly after the recording of the demo. Later recorded in 1991 by singer Safire. Michael’s version finally surfaced in 2009, retitled “This Is It”, the same name of the 2009 documentary “This Is It”, about Michael’s planned o2 residency in London

I Like The Way You Are- J5 unreleased song recorded in 1970-73. Later released in 1986 on "Looking Back At Yesterday"

Believed to be from a demo tape that was recorded in the 2300 Jackson Street home living room or Tito's music teacher Shirley Cartman's living room, who passed the tape to Steeltown Records' Gordon Keith. Cartman later had the tape transferred to a better quality tape, after moving to Atlanta Georgia, to preserve the recordings.

Nightline- written by Glen Ballard and recorded by Michael for Thriller. Ballard was optimistic after finding out the song wasn't going to be included on Thriller, knowing he'd write for the next album. He would go on to write Man In The Mirror, which he feels is a better song, for the "Bad" album and Keep The Faith for the "Dangerous" album. Later recorded by The Pointer Sisters for the original 1983 edition of "Breakout", but was replaced by "I'm So Excited" on later editions. Also recorded by Ellen Foley and Randy Crawford

The 1969 version was recorded in 1998 on the compilation, “Motown Sings Motown Classics”. 1973 version was remixed and released on the 1984 album “Farewell My Summer Love”, then released in it’s original version in 2009 for the compilation, “Hello World”
