I drink once a week but i still wanna give it up for good. Drink can bring out your inner demons and it makes you feel invincible but then later your regret everything you did. That's what i hate most about it and also the hangover's are murder

Not really, like one glass of wine at Christmas. Although I'll be 18 soon and old enough to drink in public so I don't know if I'll start drinking more, doubt it though, I don't really like alcohol much.

I voted sometimes, because I can't say never... I can be months without drinking ( I don't like wine and most alcoholic drinks) but now that we're suffering 40 degrees I enjoy a beer with soda from time to time.

Everybody I know had been drinking since they were like 13 or 14.
I had allways been the guy who didnt drink, all the way up until about January when I just thought I would start. I wasnt harming anyone but myself by not drinking. Now I drink ocassionally.

I am 30 years old and I don't drink alcohol at all. And if I do drink it is extremely rare. The alcohol drinks that I prefer is either Vodka, Brandy, Champagne, Chardonnay, and Wine. But like I said it is extremely rare that I would drink alcohol. And I have never been drunk before.

I drink now and then, even though i'm 16.
No need to worry, I'm not one of those teens who gets wasted every single weekend for the sake of it. I will have a drink if I want to celebrate something, with no intention of getting 'wasted'.

I drink once in a blue moon. Usually I'll have a Miller Genuine draft (MGD) beer. I also like Mike's hard lemon aid.
When I drink the hard stuff, it's usually a couple shots of tequila, but my all time favorite is sour apple pucker schnapps.
http://www.drinkswap.com/images/bevfull/25042.jpg
Great stuff...but a note to anyone who tries it......mix it with something like 7up, Mountain Dew, Sprite or Mello Yello. I made the mistake of drinking a half a glass of straight pucker......I was drunk within 5 minutes. lol

I hate it. I've tried and what little I did I just hated it. Even the wine coolers. I hate the alcohol taste and I hate the social pressure behind it where if you're out with a group of people 85-95 percent of them will feel the need to drink. And there's always somebody who tries to change you. I'm happy with a soda or ginger ale.

I drink now and then. If I'm out at a restaurant where alcohol is being served, I might order a pomegranate martini if they carry it. I also drink Absolute Vodka Berri Acai from time to time. That's pretty much it. I can't stand Beer, Wine makes me hurl, champaign sucks, and I tried a shot of Jose Cuervo Black w/cola and nearly lost it. If I drink, I drink in very low moderation and I space it out.

I don't drink alcohol, I don't like the taste of it and I don't feel like wanting it too. I like to keep control over myself (not that you lose that after one drink, then I'm talking about more) and I can party and celebrating things and enjoying myself just as much when I'm drinking a fanta or water.
Don't mind if other people do want it, as long as it's not too much
One thing I never understood is people saying, you have to learn to drink. I hear it all the time when I say that I don't like the taste of it. When you don't like apple pie, you just don't eat it anymore, you re not going to try and try, till you finally like it?!
So I do think that kind of people only drink because they feel they have to, to be cool, or something.

I only drink socially and that in itself is a rare occurance. I would actually like to enjoy myself and be able to remember that I enjoyed myself the next morning. But strange thing with me is I can drink lager shandy's (or tops at a push) but I can't stand a proper pint :( But I can easily drink vodka mixed drinks :mello:

My thoughts exactly!!
I never drink any alcohol...mostly because I don't like the taste at all and I just don't want to drink. I haven't found a good enough reason yet WHY I should drink. Not that people haven't tried to get me to drink. I guess the majority thinks that in order to be an ADULT and to "act like a proper adult" you need to drink alcohol and coffee. And if you don't...people will think you're a "weirdo" or a "loner" and "no fun" and whatever. And I hate the :bugeyed:bugeyed:bugeyed faces and everyone going "You don't drink??????!!! WHY???!!!!!!"...like it really would be THAT big of a deal. I mean, if someone says for example that they don't eat mushrooms, no one goes "YOU DON'T??!!!! :bugeyed:bugeyed:bugeyed WHY???!!!!". Same thing! -_- I have had people order me a drink or a glass of wine ANYWAYS, even though I have told them I don't drink...and when I didn't drink what they ordered they were like "I BOUGHT it for you...you have to drink it...that's polite!!" And I'm like "Well I didn't ASK you to buy me a drink!!! And I TOLD you I don't drink! You can drink it yourself! I'm not gonna drink it, sorry!!" <_< Now sometimes if there is a party and there's champagne for everyone I just grab a glass and hold the same glass the whole time. Just bring it to my lips every once in a while and pretend I'm sipping it. Just to make people happy. No one really notices I'm not drinking it anyways. And then I just leave it on a table somewhere afterwards when no one is looking. Saves me a lot of drama and everyone's happy. :D

Although if you do get thirsty, I'd be more than happy to satisfy your "need" for a drink.;D
Sometimes, mostly on holidays with friends or family. I think I got really drunk only 2-3 times in my life. And it was insane lol. One time I got home and wanted to update my blog about how much I loved my friends I was drinking with and I fell off the chair and couldn't stand up, so I just sat on the floor laughing like crazy because my brain was functioning perfectly and mentally I understood what was happening to me but I just couldn't move and the whole experience was just insane. Later I managed to stand up and ended up writing that blog entry (I was determined, lol). Whatever I wrote, I couldn't decypher it in the morning, lol and all my friends thought my blog had been hacked.
Since that day I try not to drink too much anymore.

Very occasionally I will have a sangria if we go to a restaurant, or a wine cooler at home. That's about it. I can count on one hand the number of times I drink an alcoholic beverage in a year. Just not my favorite thing.

booze means alcohol
I love a really good magarita or 2 when eating out at my favorite Mexican restaurant.
An occasional beer if at a barbeque when it's hot outside hits the spot.
My weakness is Cosmopolitans when I go out to dinner someplace really nice. Fortunately, my pocketbook prohibits overimbibing, Cosmos are darn expensive at a good restaurant.
The days of overimbibing and hangovers are a thing of the past. When my husband and I were engaged, he was in a college fraternity (early 1970's). Kegs of beer were consumed on the weekends. Thankfully the majority of us outgrew that phase.
