Some of it is fine like the glass shattering but if you listen closely you can hear the Is It Scary intro from Ghosts

That video is excellent. I still find this album and the heavy promotion a bit odd but like many have said maybe they think it will be a seller every October. But why couldn't they add a couple unreleased songs? Something to increase sales. A full album of remixes? The album cover is so damn good I almost think they wasted it on this. I'm jonesing for something new. I really want to hear what the rest of Queen did with "State Of Shock". Is there tons of material in the vault or is it getting scarce?

Going from what AlwaysThere has said, between roughly 11 leaked tracks in the past good few years plus the known list of vault tracks there is atleast enough for 4 more albums. 2 albums with 10 tracks and 2 albums with 9 tracks. Unless they water it down to 6 or 7 tracks per album and include remixes or contemporary versions, they could maybe squeez it to 6 albums that way.

This is only to do with the tracks that are known though, so maybe its possible there's more?.

I really dont get it. Is this really all we are getting? All this promotion for this compilation that isn’t selling very well. The artwork is fantastic and all but WTF?... is the cartoon going to sell this album? I don’t think so, but maybe I am totally off base. Is Thriller 3D going to drop? Not from what I am learning. I just don’t get it can anyone help me out here?

Yeap that's it. Thriller is coming next year along with Ghosts on Blu ray/4K.

It might not happen next year if the talk about Halloween 2018 cinema release is true. Then the home release might happen in 2019.

I finally picked up my copy of the Scream album. I bought it at Target for only $10.

Don't get me wrong; I know there are problems with it. I know there are certain songs on there that I don't think fit in with the theme of Halloween and horror. But nonetheless, it was good. I would definitely recommend it for the general public since Halloween is approaching, it's not expensive and it's got a lot of great MJ songs I'm sure a lot of people don't even know about. However, if you're a hardcore MJ fan, the decision is up to you.

I do wish though that they included "Is It Scary" and "Little Susie" and replace "Unbreakable" and "Xscape" with "2Bad" and "Smooth Criminal". "Unbreakable" is a fantastic song IMO and it - along with the whole Invincible album - deserves more attention, but I don't think the Scream album was the right place to get that attention. I don't think "Xscape" was necessary either and it was the only posthumous MJ song on this album. I think "2Bad" (which was featured in the Ghosts short film) and "Smooth Criminal" (the name and lyrics fit in with the horror/suspense theme) would have been better choices. And like I said, "Is It Scary" and "Little Susie" should have been included as well.

In fact, this is how I would have done the tracklist (with those four songs):

01. Thriller (I'm surprised this wasn't the opening song on the album)
02. Blood on the Dance Floor
03. Somebody's Watching Me
04. This Place Hotel
05. Smooth Criminal
06. Leave Me Alone
07. Torture
08. Dirty Diana
09. Dangerous
10. Scream
11. Little Susie
12. 2Bad
13. Threatened
14. Is It Scary
15. Ghosts
16. Blood on the Dance Floor x Dangerous (White Panda Mashup)

Aside from all of that, I thought Scream was a good album. Like I said, I definitely recommend it for the general public, but for hardcore MJ fans, the decision is up to them.

I'll try.

You're seeing this as a short term project. It isn't.

This is the start of a year on year campaign to have Michael and his music/cartoons associated, heavily, with Halloween.

We will have to wait years to see if it becomes a success. As they say, "Every great oak tree starts off as a tiny acorn".

I dont understand why Is It Scary isn't on it.
Also, lol, Little Susie would be so out of place. Shouldn't have even been on History.

You're crazy, it's a fantastic song.

Little Susie would most certainly fit on the album, assuming they forget about the whole "every song has to be dance-oriented" thing. It's an enigmatic song, which fits more in line with the Halloween theme than Leave Me Alone or Unbreakable though.

Unfortunately "Ghosts" is NOT set in stones yet. They said they wish to do something with it but there are still right issues to sort out first + paying for the raw footage (which they don't have). And unlike "Thriller" this one actually requires lots of FX to be redone from scratch.
Don't expect a HD remaster of "Ghosts" in 2018, you'll only be disappointed.

Well, not only is the Scream LA party being held at Grauman's and Joseph is a guest-they're also having Ola Ray as a special guest. Wish Michael were here-he'd love this.

Why would there be right issues? The short version of Ghosts was in the Vision box set to I don't think there are issues like that. Also I'm sure if they had the original film material of Thriller they have Ghosts too.

Yes ghosts is more effort and will cost more to create. If they can't make a success of thriller 3d then they will shelve any plans for ghosts imo.
Unfortunately interest in the scream album is very limited so their mj Halloween takeover isn't off to a good start.

Ive said i wouldnt get this cd b/c to me it just the same songs wit i have all on cd and also its not a proper halloween cd what 3 halloween songs ghosts,somebody watchin me and thriller, but just b/c i havnt got the cd ive pre-ordered the vinyl only b/c its a limted ed and the vinyl glows up and the cover and of course my collection.
