MJJC Exclusive: Q&A with Taj Jackson - Question submission closed

The plan for now is the classical written format - that we send the questions and he sends the written answers. If anything changes (such as if it becomes a video / livestream etc) I'll let you know.

Not every question will be sent btw. We will select the common, most important and interesting and relevant questions.

I also want to tell that the reasoning behind this Q&A offer and acceptance is about the tension between Jackson family and Michael Jackson fans. That will be the main focus so keep that in mind.

and some questions seem to be irrelevant to the goal of this Q&A such as new releases is a question for the Estate and not Taj. Also I'm not sure if I want to turn this into a Jacksons versus Cascios situation. I would then need to give opposite side the chance to talk as well and I don't want this to turn into another argument. Again the goal is to correct any misconceptions or tension between Jackson family and Michael Jackson fans - not to start another war of words.

I'll pick out some questions I feel should definitely be asked.

21. Do you feel, in your heart of hearts, that THIS GLE TRIBUTE, was worthy of MJ? Do you really believe the line up was the best for the greatest entertainer ?
22. Were fans' concerns ever taken seriously (add reference to the phone conference, dismissive answers)

31. Have the children been told NOT to support their estate? I find it peculiar, that they openly support other artists' and Jacksons's / Obee's ventures, but avoid commenting on their own father's? Seeing how they are vocal of how proud they are of their dad's accomplishment, it raises a lot of questions. Of course, we believe the children are innocent and want nothing but the best for their father's legacy. It's obvious to all who have heard them talk about their father.

40. a few times, Latoya has lied, stating her mother & the kids haven't received money from the estate, when court documents have shown millions have been spent to care for the beneficiaries. These flagrant lies are the reasons many fans openly question everything your family. The thinking is, if they can easily lie about something that can quickly & easily be proven wrong, what else are they lying about. Can you confirm that the estate, according to probate AND Michael Jackson's final will, has been taking carer of your grandma & the children, since his passing?
41. Since you were a consultant to the estate, you must not believe the will is fake. But do you know why some (Randy, Latoya, Jermaine) in your family would think the will is fake, but never went to court to legally challenge it? Have you ever discuss the issue with your family? What are their thinking, and how did they come up with the believe the 2002 will wasn't signed by MJ?

52. Without naming names, do you believe some (cousins, nephews, uncles, aunts, etc) within your own family, have taken advantage of you grandmother by cajoling her into signing questionable deals?

1. The Jackson family seemed to love the CIRQUE DU SOLEIL SHOW - MICHAEL JACKSON THE IMMORTAL WORLD TOUR.
Why is the Jackson Family tweeting frequently but ignoring Michael Jackson IMMORTAL CD and showing no support for it?


2. Paris and Prince openly support other Artsist music and Albums and even Jackson family endvours on Twitter but no mention at all of thier Dads new CD. They have even been tweeted questions about the CD from thier followers but refuse to reply. I cant see Michael s children doing this of thier own accord they would have no reason to ignore or dislike it. Have MJ's children been forbidden to support Estate Ventures for thier Dad ?

6. seem the Jackson family like many Families are divided on many issue . Has the Jackson family cooperatively decided to start working with the MJ Estate or are some still holding out and consider them an enemy.

7. We all know Latoaya has openly implicated John Branca in a conspiracy of MJ's death. What does
she feel about you and some of her brothers who have worked with Branca on various endevours a
nd do your or the brothers or other family members take her serious with these claims?

Ivy, I understand not wanting to use questions that are to off topic in a way.
But Taj did mention on his twiter how according to him Michael had some sort of falling out /"betrayal" with Frank so wouldn't that be a fair question?
Since he mentioned it but never cleared it up, I think many fans want him to elaborate on some of the things he has claimed on his twitter.
I understand you would in a way want the other side to respond to make it fair. But still personally I think this Q&A could help clear up things like this at least from Taj' side. A lot of friction seems to come from stuff like that. (Half-information)

Do you ( Taj ) have any understanding as to why fans have questioned some of your familys actions?

Can you look yourself in the mirror and say that Michael would have agreed to have his children being interviewed by woman who called him a child molester and made jokes about the kids DNA prior to this interview? (I am speaking about the interview they did in Germany before traveling to toi the UK for the "tribute").

Can you honestly say that MJ would have liked his children to be part of contracts forcing them to promote products from characters like Howard Mann.

Can you understand why some fans find it distasteful as to how LaToya was tweeting about eating luxury caviar paid by the concert promoters as the trial was taking place in LA.

Can you understand why fans are worried about the childrens involement in shady "Heal The World" foundation which is run by a woman with clear mental issues.

Do you believe Michael would have approved of his children entering into business with Dieter Weisner, one of man who caused Michael enormous pressure thru lawsuits and media leaks and might have been one reason as to why Michael had to take anti-anxiety meds to get by.

wow ... you people act like Taj is the root of all problems. I saw less vitriol for Frank who, lets be honest, has a lot more to answer for.

1. What can you tell us about Michaels original demo for WHY? Do you think it could see a release?
2. Can you tell us about some of the other unreleased songs you've heard from MJs vault?

I would like to ask Taj in view of his tweets about negative press reporting are the family ever going to hold the media to account and refute/dispel the negative stories that are published? If not, why not? Doesn't he realise that many people actually believe the garbage that is written/said and unless they fight back, this is what the "public" are going to believe.

I replied to his tweet about the recent Guardian article explaining when I complained to the Press Complaints Commission about a horrific Guardian article in 2009, I was told nothing could be done unless the "family" complained. I was also told that the family had been contacted to see if they wanted to do anything about this and the PCC had received no response. At the time, I emailed/tweeted Randy Jackson and emailed Katherine Jackson's solicitor - no response from them or from Taj when I tweeted him earlier this month.

The UK goverment have launched a major review of press standards and morality, it is called the Leveson Inquiry. Many people (celebs and general public) are giving evidence against the media and the inquiry are publicly seeking feedback from people affected by press immorality. I tweeted/emailed Jermaine (given the comments in his book about UK press trying to bribe families to testify against Michael) - again, no response. The family are happy to sit back and let the fans campaign but the sad truth is that the regulatory bodies will only listen to the family.

This may be considered trivial and unimportant compared to the other questions....but I want this question asked by you and answered by TAJ:

Were you and your family aware of how Lisa Marie Presley bashed Michael Jackson over the years, including appearing with her mother on Oprah Winfrey slamming Michael when he was going through that horrible trial in 2005?

If so, how did it make you feel?

How did the other family members, including Katherine felt about it?

Why do your family treat Lisa Marie with such high esteem knowing then or knowing now how horrible Lisa Marie talked about Michael over the years?

Who's idea was it for her to be invited to Michael's private funeral?
