This is a call to action. We must find answers to our questions and concerns regarding the funds that were raised to immunize underprivileged children. Every effort has to be made to bring the culprit who stole these children's chance at receiving life-saving vaccines to justice. Any chances of recovering the funds that have been stolen depends on us as a group reporting this crime that has been committed in the name of Our Beloved Michael.

An explanation of what has occurred. Try to be brief. Please try to refrain from using insults or offensive language towards Sofie in your email.

Inform them of the amounts you donated. The dates you donated and then provide them with the "Unique Transaction ID#" for each donation.

The agent I spoke with encourages as many members to email them as possible. The higher the volume of emails, the faster they'll respond. It usually takes anywhere from 24-72 hours, but again, the more emails the receive, the higher the potential for rapid response.

Not only is this the first step to reporting this to the proper parties, but it also serves as a method of getting our complaints on record quicker.

Members have already begun receiving responses and the most promising of replies are ones that indicate that a higher volume of complaints will render greater potential of the matter becoming a top priority for investigation.

UNICEF Sweden: As of now, it is understood that UNICEF Sweden has put forth every effort to get in contact with Sofie Strandberg regarding the missing donation, but they have been unsuccessful. Still, continued communication with UNICEF Sweden has proven that the more people report this matter, the better the chances of it becoming a higher priority for investigation. We need to get our claims and reports on file for Interpol and Swedish authorities to have a reference point for their investigations.

This post was made originally to support a cause "One Rose For Michael - Vaccinate the Children for Michael." I felt this was an amazingly awesome and worthy cause! Some thing so beautiful, something that fully honored Michael! Fans from all over the world donated to Sofie Stranberg from One Rose for Michael Face Book Page to raise money in Michael's name for UNICEF. I gladly supported and donated personally and asked fans from all over the world via my blog to support this cause in honor of Michael Jackson's 53rd birthday, August 29, 2011.

Sofie Stranberg from One Rose for Michael told us she was collecting donations to vaccinate children against disease all over the world via UNICEF. We were asked to donate just $2 per vaccine per child. Fans everywhere sent in their money and now it is gone, Sofie is gone and the children who desperately needed these vaccines will not get them. Nothing has been given to UNICEF, not one cent! In fact UNICEF has never heard of Sofie Stranberg or One Rose For Michael or the cause we were supporting.

Sofie had told us that we had raised enough money to vaccinate 5353 children. We don't even know if that is true at this point. All the fans who joined in the effort know is at least $10,000 has vanished because of greed, lies and selfishness. The very thing that stalked Michael his entire life is still here dogging his legacy of LOVE. I am beyond disappointed and very angry. I am angry at myself because I rarely ever donate to MJ Fan causes. I generally donate directly to organizations and charities. That way I know my money is going exactly where I intend it to go and receipts are provided for record keeping.

I apologize to each and every person who read my blog and donated to this cause. We were all duped. We were all lied to. My prayer is that the authorities track down Sofie and get the money back and it will finally go to UNICEF and the children. However since she has not been heard from since Nov. 17th and no one has been able to find her, not online, nor by telegraph or phone, or at her home, the chances of that are very slim.

Again I apologize for ever having promoted this cause. We must not allow the greed and dishonesty of a few to discourage us from reaching out with out hearts and wallets to help the children and other worthy causes. Michael was relentlessly besieged by liars and greedy scam artists from all angles his entire life. He never let their evilness dampen his spirit of caring and LOVE for the needy and hurting. We must not let this dampen our spirit of caring, but just learn from this and move on. Be wise in our donations and efforts to help others.

If you scroll down to 'older posts' and read from 5th January downwards, you will see the full explanation. Robyn basically organised the roses, S... the donations. Thanks to Robyn, the roses worked well, No thanks to S , the unicef donations did not. Robyn and others have therefore formed the new group, and started actions to try and recover the 'lost' unicef donation moneys.

Michael Jackson among many things, was known as one of the world's greatest humanitarians to have ever lived and as his fans, its not surprising that we strive to carry on his humanitarianism in honor of him, his name, and his legacy.

Together as a group we've done many things in Michael's loving memory, the most distinct of accomplishments are the roses for Michael's anniversary in June, and the humanitarian acts we carry out in his name in honor of his birthday.

In both 2010 and 2011 the people in this newly reformed group raised a total of 7,500 roses(3000-6/25/2010 and 4500-6/25/2011) for Michael's anniversary. We also participated in charity projects in Michael's name such as planting 1000 trees in Michael's name for his birthday in 2010 and raising money to provide food and presents for the needy for Christmas in 2010.

Sadly, our list of accomplishments is lacking one of our greatest feats.

For Michael's birthday, OneRose4MJ's(old group) administrator, S... informed us that we'd be collecting donations to immunize underprivileged children thru UNICEF. We were told at that time that it would cost $2USD for each child to be vaccinated for Measles, Polio, and Tetanus. However due to certain events and after further research, we have now discovered that the amount S.. quoted as the cost was greatly inflated.

It was the group "One Rose for Michael Jackson" that ****ed up where on admin, Sofie Strandberg, stole money ($10,000) that were donated to raise money for UNICEF.

Members of that original group started a new one called "One Rose for Michael J Jackson" to distant themselves from the group that money was stolen from.

So the thread should be warning for "one rose for Michael Jackson"

Vici, I'm an admin of the new group and I just wanted to thank you for clarifying that the newly reformed One Rose for Michael J. Jackson is not responsible for the fraud Sofie Strandberg carried out.

Gaz, I think perhaps this is in the news section because people are still barely catching up on what happened with the money for vaccines for UNICEF that Sofie stole.

Anybody who donated need to follow the instructions posted in the prior posts.
