Michael Jackson's Tigress Thriller doing the Moon Walk

Michael Jackson's tigress Thriller doing the Moon Walk during trailer training at Shambala Preserve owned by actress Tippi Hedren.
I am not happy at all that Tippi made those remarks about Michael. I'm hoping Maybe she just wasn't aware that he was unable to provide support during that time as he having difficulties with his own finances. Plus he had many other problems he was dealing with at the time. Maybe someone can kindly contact her and make her aware of his circumstances. Tippi does do a great service for these animals so I would rather focus on the good work she does do to help them.
She did say that when she received Michael's tigers they were in excellent condition and had a good disposition . Very well taken care of. Michael had a zoo and a Vet and trainer for his animals. but many of the animals she takes in are abused and were not taken care of well at all. Michael sent them to the best place that had the means and funding to care for them. He did not abuse, neglect or abandon his animal . He sent them to a good home because he no longer had a home to provide for them due to circumstances beyond his control. and I also have commend Tippy for the great work she does.

Tippi says about Thriller and Sabu. "They were beautiful when they came here and they are
still beautiful. There was some talk that they weren't treated very well and that is not true.
They were treated absolutley like magnificent Tigers . The way they should have been treated."

Thanks for those videos. It's nice to see her previously acknowledge that they were well taken care of and defends him there. So, why the negativity in her lastest interview, I have no idea.
But I did email her and nicely praised her for her good work, dedication, etc. I also reminded her of his situation that led to the tigers being given to her sanctuary in the first place. I reminded her of the aftermath of the trial, fleeing the country, his financial situation, etc. to refresh her memory. But because of her comments to the media, Michael is now being called selfish, greedy, irresponsible by some people reading her words. If she doesn't understand why that's wrong... well, I don't know what more to say.
Why should mj have been expected to pay for them .the whole point of them leaving neverland ontop of the fact mj wasnt living there anymore was so that someone else would own and pay for the up keep of the animals.when someone gives their dog to the dogs home cause they cant or dont want to look after them anymore are they expected to keep paying for them? i dont think so. i guess only mj has to pay.

Thanks for emailing and reming her about the situation
Maybe she was attached to Thriller tiger, and lashed out of anger when she died:-(
Unfortunately Michael was in the receiving end of her anger. Hopefully she understands the situation and perhaps issues an apology of some sort.
The problem with the AP interview is that we don't know if it was hedren casting that shade on mj. We know how the media works, they can ask a seemingly innocent question like, 'were you in contact with mj after you got the tigers' and 'who paid for the tigers' upkeep' and this is magically translated into hedren says mj never called up to check on the tigers and never sent any money. This is just what they do, twisting comments to make it appear negative against mj, so to me it's unfair to immediately jump on hedren for how this interview sounded. The media has form for being anti-mj, as far as i know, hedren hasn't.
Rest In Peace "Beautiful Beast" Thriller!!!!
Reunited In Heaven with best friend Michael!!!!
I was just thinking that even if Hedren did not make those comments about Michael, then she needs to clear this mess up. Michael's name is being dragged through the mud because of what people at least THINK she said.

Who's BAD?
Yesterday, Today & FOREVER MICHAEL

Rest In Peace Thriller
In regard to Tippi Hedren's comments Michae more pressing matters to attend to like trying to get back to normal after the trial and looking after his kids. If he was'nt dealing with that I'm sure he would have visited them

Why should he visit and if it was sent there to live on a preserve he does not have to pay for its upkeep. All the animals had to leave because Michael left there. If it was me, I would not visit all the animals either. He had more things on his mind at that time.
If this comment was not made by Tippi and is only an editing ploy, then she needs to clear this up quickly. Owners do not pay for animals after they go into a shelter or preserve. If they did, then what is the point of sending them there?

I really do not believe that Michael has not financially helped this animal (and many others who lived in Neverland).![]()
Most of shelters for animals live of donations...these shelters have huge expenses with these animals: veterinary, food and a lot of other things. These shelters "mimic" the natural habitat of the animal (called the captivity) so he can have a healthy and safe life. Since this animal can not be returned to nature because was domesticated and the chances of survival are very small.
Anyway, this story is poorly told...

Thriller Memorabilia Sold to Support Michael Jackson’s Tigers
Since Julien’s Auction house announced that they would be auctioning a piece of music history belonging famed singing sensation Michael Jackson, fans of the late legend have been following the preparations to sell the one and only “Thriller” jacket. The celebrated red jacket that Jackson wore in the groundbreaking video will be offered to the highest bidder starting on June 25, 2011 at Julien’s Beverly Hills gallery along with many of Michael’s other possessions. Portions of the proceeds from the auction of the jacket worn in the record breaking 1982 “Thriller” video and album will be donated to “The Roar Foundation,” which was founded in 1983 by Golden Globe winning actress, Tippi Hedren, and is the financial 501 (C) 3 support arm for the Shambala Preserve. The preserve made a home for Jackson’s tiger’s Thriller and Sabu, currently living in a 22,000 sq. ft. compound on the shore of the Shambala Lake, after he left Neverland Ranch. “They compliment each other perfectly,” says Ms. Hedren, adding, “Thriller is a thrill! She’s independent, feisty and lets all of us know when she wants to be left alone. Sabu knows all of her moods and highly respects each one of them!” Fans can come to Shambala during one of the scheduled “Afternoon Safari’s” to meet them, or possibly stay overnight in one of their two authentic African Safari tents located nearby the magnificent Thriller and the very patient Sabu. Learn more by visiting Shambala.org.
The Roar Foundation was thrilled with the decision by Julien’s Auctions to benefit the preserve. The only actress to have worked with both directors Alfred Hitchcock and Charlie Chaplin, Hedren who has worked tirelessly as a national advocate on behalf of the rights of all wildlife, with a focus on exotic felines says, “It costs $75,000 every single month to keep Shambala operational. This includes the compound upkeep, the best food, expert animal care, the best medical care for all of the wild ones including Thriller and Sabu. The Julien offer couldn’t have come at a better time and we are extremely grateful.” The Shambala Preserve has been rescuing big cats bred and born in captivity right here in the United States to be sold as pets or to be used for financial gain in “traditional” circuses, night club acts and roadside zoos. A legislative Bill that Hedren has co-authored, that will be presenting to Congress soon, would ban the domestic breeding of exotic felines and hopefully halt the purchasing of apex predators as pets and the inhumane abuse that occurs both before and after sales.
Julien’s is known for specializing in entertainment memorabilia, Beatles memorabilia and rock memorabilia and is now the premier auction house in high-profile celebrity and entertainment auctions. The Thrillerù jacket is estimated to be worth between $200,000 to $400,000, but with recent auction successes such as Marilyn Monroe’s “Seven Year Itch” dress and Audrey Hepburn’s gown from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” going for millions over the estimated values, hopes ran high at the public unveiling of the “Thriller” jacket on June 22nd. Just like Monroe and Hepburn, Jackson’s iconic jacket has become a piece of pop culture that left an indelible image in the minds of music fans worldwide.
Entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Slimmer Silhouette, Meggie Hale, who was among those in attendance at the unveiling remarked, “The event was an amazing sight to see, and served as a gorgeous tribute to such a brilliant man. The fact that proceeds are going to such a deserving cause, is just icing on an already enticing cake. I think Michael would be pleased to know that Thriller and Sabu are so well looked-after.” Adding “I was just honored to be in attendance and excited to see such a good turnout. I look forward to being present on Sunday, and witnessing history when the actual jacket is auctioned off. Whomever purchases the Thriller jacket will certainly own a true piece of Americana.”
