QUOTE OF THE DAY

"
When you just look out over the stage, as far as the naked eye
could see, you see people. And it’s a wonderful feeling, but it came
with a lot of pain, a LOT of pain."

I wonder what happen to this car?

Bubs your 2 comments are what I was going to talk about too. That quote today, really make you remember that when we enjoy something, we don't really know all that happened to make it possible. It makes you humble & be grateful & appreciate what you get. That is why sometimes I get angry when fans whine about how Michael lipsync during Dangerous. We don't know what pain or condition the body was at that moment to cause him to not sing out, but he was there on stage even in his pain, and we should be grateful for that.

I was wondering about the car too. I wonder if it is one of the cars we saw at the fanvention in Vegas?

I was going to say it was one of the cars displayed at MJ Fanfest in Vegas . I remember a Blue Rolls Royce. and very Elaborate Van. But as I think about it Tito Jackson mentioned something about MJ giving him a car and I think he said it had autographs in it. I hope it wasn't the Bentley from "What More Can I Give" That would be worth a lot of Money with Michael's and all the other singers autographs in it. Ill do a search on Bing, google etc

I only found this bit of info
In 2004, Michael Jackson’s custom-designed car, a Bentley Arnage Red Label Turbo, is sold at an auction benefiting the singer’s "Go For Your Dreams" foundation; the automobile served to drive to Jackson’s Neverland Ranch the host of stars that recorded the "What More Can I Give" charity single in 2001, in appreciation for their involvement in the benefit project.

Thanks Bubs. I belive that auction was cancelled as stated above in the History becuase the charity project went bust and the song was not releaed becuase of Michael's being arrested and the ensuing trial. I can't find any info that it was ever placed back up for auction either.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on information received since Barrett-Jackson Auction Company held a press conference Tuesday night, officials at Barrett-Jackson today announced that the scheduled auction of the 2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label Turbo sedan has been postponed. (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20011221/LAF033LOGO-b ) Barrett-Jackson has mutually agreed with Michael Jackson's representatives to postpone auctioning the pop star's 2001 Bentley until a later Barrett- Jackson Auction. The car could potentially be made available at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction this spring, or at the 2005 Auction in Scottsdale.

Today, Michael Jackson's representatives provided verified correspondence clarifying the position to postpone the sale. According to Michael Jackson's management team, Michael Jackson would prefer not to sell the car at this year's auction. Michael Jackson's management team also stated that he does plan to auction the car exclusively with Barrett-Jackson at a later date. "We now have official documentation from Michael Jackson's representatives from which we can make the clear decision to auction this car at a later Barrett-Jackson event," said Craig Jackson, president of Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. "Our original plan was to auction this car with the proceeds going to a new charitable foundation sponsored by Michael Jackson. However, in light of recent events, the necessary preparations for both the car auction and the charitable foundation could not be completed," stated Ronald Konitzer, an authorized representative for Michael Jackson regarding the Bentley. Konitzer explained that this correspondence should clear up the confusion surrounding the auctioning of the Bentley, and expressed his appreciation to Barrett-Jackson for upholding their original consignment agreement with Michael Jackson and the mutual decision to auction it at a later date.

Here is a detailed Description of the Car

Michael Jackson purchased and currently owns the beautifully customized 2001 Bentley with only approximately 13,631 original miles on the odometer. A magnificent combination of sporting performance and luxurious interior, this vehicle was upgraded to Michael's custom specifications featuring: two (2) DVD players (VCX and 1W); three (3) flat screen monitors; television reception; individual airplane style audio controls and viewing at each seat, including headphones; PlayStation gaming system operational at each seat; Dolby surround sound custom stereo system with a six CD disc changer; complete customized interior with wood interior door panels, gearshift handle and rear folding seat back picnic tables; power rear seats; a voice navigational system; a built-in telephone, and complete blackout tint on windows. The specially outfitted Bentley Arnage was used to chauffeur an all-star cast of world-class singers and musicians to Michael's Neverland Ranch for the recording of the "What More Can I Give?" song to benefit children's charity. The song, written and composed by Michael attracted a celebrity-filled roster, many of whom autographed the interior roof of the car, including; Destiny's Child's Beyonce Knowles, Reba McEntire, Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter, Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men, Tom Petty and many of the other participating recording artists, including Michael himself.

Now it gets more interesting--where can this car be. Qbee can it be the one we saw with the gold inside in vegas?

Tito has the car.

"Does he have a keepsake from Michael? ‘When he was exonerated from court [Michael was acquitted of sexual abuse charges in 2005] he gave me one of his Bentleys. He said, “It’s the one I drive and everyone who drives with me signs the ceiling.”

'There were signatures on the roof from Beyoncé and other celebrities."
