I hope it doesn't flop like Wii U. They should just make a powerful normal console.

Looks better than the Wii U already, I think. I'm glad they're dropping the "Wii" brand name and are moving on to something different. They have a lot of third-party developers on board for this which should help them a lot as the lack of third-party support has been an issue for them in recent years. I'm cautiously optimistic about this, but more optimistic than I was with the Wii U (which I wound up never buying). This could be a day-one purchase for me, mainly for the new Zelda.

If Mario Maker in Switch?
No
Switch don't play Wii U

I am a loyal Nintendo fan. Have been for 30 years. 36 years old now. And I am very much looking forward to getting that. Especially since I just got to have that new Zelda game. I only been waiting for it. For about 2 or 3 years now. And I have both the Wii and the Wii U. And to me the Switch doesn't look that much like them. That alone makes me want to get it even more.

I haven't really played any Nintendo console since SNES. I have PS4 now. I hope this sells well because competition is always good.

Not a bad idea, they have a market they are going after and it works.. Nintendo keeps doing this for a reason guys.. when it comes to quantity sales they outself xbox and sony because for multiple users in the house often want multiple devices.. there are homes with 2-6 of the same device for each person where as everyone shares a console In a house generally.. They are banking on this..

my annoyance comes with the fact what I personally want from Nintendo is to play all my favs (of my choosing) that I grew up on.. The new Nintendo with pre loaded games doesn't cut it because it does not have any of the donkey kong countries... I'm tempted to buy a 3rd party machine that lets me play Nintendo/super Nintendo games.. there is even one that has sega option with it ;)

Well as much as Nintendo can get crap talked about as far as re-using ideas.. they are so very smart... You know there are more Nintendo products purchased than Xbox and PlayStation combined... That is intense..

They make these things that each person will want instead of just each household... u don't find many homes with 2-4 xboxs but youll find many Nintendo products

Nintendo's home consoles are not doing very good. Wii U was a flop. Yes for example Mario games sell but that doesn't mean they should just keep making the same game again and again. Nintendo really should come up with new ideas.

Now if this isn't some kind of back to the roots ...

Been a fan since the very first Super Mario Bros on the legendary NES I'm really hyped for this game.

Judging by this trailer it's refreshing to see that they've stepped back from the "New Super Mario Bros" concept to the IPs original SMB series, while adding some new fresh ideas. If Nintendo has made everything right, Super Mario Bros Wonder might become a true (spiritual) successor to Super Mario World.

Having finished its first two worlds I can easily say SMB Wonder is the best Mario game since 1990s Super Mario World.šŸ˜
