'Money' is about people stabbing others in the back for money. I think Michael is referring to the greedy Chanderler or whatever that evil family is called as they stabbed him in the back by accusing him of sexual molestation just to extract some money out of him.

I always found it interesting that he sings from 3rd person and 1st person.. Of course many would say he is singing from his perspective when 3rd person and plays "them" as 3rd person.. but it's possible that it's deeper than that.. that it is "they" and even "himself" would do anything for money.. Money gets everyone!

I believe the first person lines are to be seen as quotes. Like, this is what they’ll say:
