Plot armor: how do you feel about it?

How do you all feel about plot armor in shows, movies, and books?
I'm pretty neutral on it myself.

BTW, for those that don't know.
Plot armor is when character is important to the plot of a show, movie, or book so they simply can't die no matter what happens to them or around them.
