First of all, none of these deserve a place on Dangerous. So kudos again to Mr. Jackson who so far has made every decision correctly about which songs to include on which album (with exception of Sunset Driver on OTW )

From the list, I like the
IYDM (great Elvis Return To Sender/Prince Raspberry Beret mash up)
Monkey Business (cute, would have made a good B side to BoW)
DYKWYCA (the only song ruined on Xscape)
SPYHO (nice, but don't see the fuss. Nice to hear his falsetto back for a full sing though

For All Time - why is this liked? it's a throwaway fluff piece he could do in his sleep.
Serious Effect - seems like a sub-standard demo with no chorus

Others I don't remember them enough to comment.

Like I've put at the top & in the Prince thread. MJ had stunning version control. Right up until Invincible he had an inate sense of what would work on every single album and why. Each album has to be a cohesive piece of music with every song a standout.

    1) She Got It
    2) If You Don't Love Me
    3) Someone Put Your Hand Out
    4) Serious Effect
    5) Monkey Business
    6) Work That Body

For All Time was a Thriller demo and DYK was a Bad demo so I kept them off!

All such great songs though. The only one I really don't care for is Work That Body - the others are goddamn GREAT.

For All Time is not a Thriller demo. The writer of the song confirmed it that he wrote it for the Dangerous album.

You are right about DYKWYCA. It's from Bad era sessions (cca. 1986).

The others are mediocre at best, I still like them but I don't think they're worth listing.

Like I've put at the top & in the Prince thread. MJ had stunning version control. Right up until Invincible he had an inate sense of what would work on every single album and why. Each album has to be a cohesive piece of music with every song a standout.
Superfly Sister, Blood On The Dancefloor, Earth Song and Someone Put Your Hand out all could have been on Dangerous. They are as good as many songs on the album, some are even better. I'm so happy that he decided to release those songs on other projects
