One of my first crushes as a girl, Adam West's Batman. :laugh:
 
Oh, my goodness-how we loved this show when I was a kid. We just got color TV and this was tailor made for it-bright, happy, campy with the WHAM! POW!!! The music.
And all these great actors we got exposed to playing villians-Burgess Meredith, Cesar Romero, Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, Frank Gorshin, etc. etc. etc.

RIP Mr. West. You made a lot of kids (and families) happy.

In 2016, Adam, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar did the voices for a new animated Batman movie.

Most of my childhood was in the 90s, so I grew up watching the Batman 60s TV series in reruns along side Batman The Animated Series; however both of them were dubbed in Spanish. Years later rewatching Batman TAS in English at last, I found out Adam West voiced Bruce Wayne's childhood hero, The Gray Ghost. What a moving way to have two of the most iconic Batmans together.

Thank you for filling my childhood with joy and laughter, Mr. West! May you rest in peace!
 
The earliest Batman I remember watching... Very sad to hear this news. RIP Adam West. :(
 
...wow He died in such a beautiful age, I feel like I shouldn't mourn it that much. It hurts but he experienced a lot and honestly I dream to live that long, now may he rest in peace.

Even though I didn't watch the series where he featured as much as the more recent adaptations of Batman (TAS, Burton's movies and Nolan's movies), I like him, Caesar Romero and the actor who played Alfred.

Batman was such a huge show when I was a kid and I tried never to miss an episode. I didn't recognize the satire when I was young but loved it when I got older.

I remember watching the old "Batman" show on YTV all the time when I was a small kid, Adam West is a classic. Too bad he's now gone.

I can never forget the comments he as Mayor West (Family Guy *watch I don't watch anymore*) on Michael on one of the episodes
