While there's been a lot of hubbub about THRILLER 3D's world premiere at Venice, I've seen very little about the fact that the North American premiere will be at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Both Thriller 3D and the Making Of Thriller will be screened.

Exciting for fans outside of Europe who want a chance to see these landmark films on the big screen.

I watched BAD 25 at Tiff. Thanks for letting me know about Thriller 3D. I will definitely check it out :)

At least we learn that it is "A new, digitally remastered version of Jerry Kramer's 1983 documentary ".
Maybe I missed it in the Thriller 3D thread but this is new to me. Highly expected and anticipated, it is now confirmed.
This leaves good hope for a bluray disc. A theater release is not to be excluded, although let's not make our expectations too high.

It will be nice to receive feedback from people who attend the TIFF festival. Without spoiling the "shocking suprise" as Landis teased a few weeks ago :)

You absolutely did. More than a week ago. The new details from the TIFF website regarding the quality of both Thriller and the documentary were also discussed. And the news of the North American premiere was posted on the official Michael Jackson social media streams.
