I am visiting New York next month and I wanted to know if you guys knew any important locations that were connected with Michael's legacy? I have the Hoyt–Schermerhorn subway station where they filmed Bad written down. I also have Madison Square Garden down where he performed for the 30th anniversary celebration. Is there any murals or places that have his memorabilia? Thanks!

Madison Square Garden
The New York Palace Hotel (formerly Helmsley Palace)
Trump Tower

Hoyt–Schermerhorn Streets that was the main location for the short film for Bad
It's the Mezzanine to be exact.
Interesting fact, the subway scenes in The Wiz and Coming To America were also filmed here

This is not a landmark but a group of us got together and raise money to have a bench done in honor of Michael Jackson it is locate in Brooklyn Botanical Garden in New York it is call Michael Jackson Memorial Bench. If you get a chance to visit New York go and see it. I will try to get a picture so you can see it I heard it is beautiful. I plan to see it when i go to New York. I post the link.
