    Default Software to archive Collection?

    Hello Guys.
I know i could ask this in a specific computer-forum.
    BUT
Since many of you also collecting stuff i thought you could help me better.

So i am collecting MJ Items since middle of the 90s.
Now i realise that i have problems to know what i already have and what not
So i am looking for a software where i can list all my collection. But it would be awesome if it allows me to click
on an item to show pictures (i will do pictures of everything) of it.

This software should work on MAC and also on Iphone...
    any idea?

Discogs is a fantastic way to log a collection, but it only works for audio and some video formats. CD, Cassette, Vinyl, etc. For other things like memorabilia, posters, etc, I don't know of anything you could use. I'm sure there's something for it though. Discogs.com

Me and my husband have a great record collection of vinyl discs and CD discs and videos as well and we use Microsoft Excel. It works well with our 12.000+ disc collection.
