LOS ANGELES — A judge on Tuesday dismissed the lawsuit brought by a choreographer who alleged Michael Jackson molested him as a child, resolving one of the last major claims against the late singer’s holdings.

Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff’s summary judgment ruling against the now-35-year-old Wade Robson found that the two Jackson-owned corporations, which were the remaining defendants in the case, were not liable for Robson’s exposure to Jackson. He did not rule on the credibility of Robson’s allegations themselves.

Robson’s attorney, Vince Finaldi, said he strongly disagrees and plans to appeal.

Robson, a native of Australia who has worked with Britney Spears and NSYNC, met Jackson when he was 5 years old.

He testified in Jackson’s defence at the singer’s 2005 criminal trial, saying he had spent the night at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch more than 20 times and usually slept in Jackson’s room, but Jackson never molested him. Jackson was acquitted in that trial.

Then in 2013 about four years after the singer’s death, Robson sued the Jackson estate for what his attorneys described as molestation that spanned a seven-year period.

A court ruled in 2015 that Robson had filed his lawsuit too late to get any of Jackson’s estate. That left two remaining defendants, both corporate entities owned by Jackson in his lifetime: MJJ Productions, Inc., and MJJ Ventures, Inc.

The judge ruled Tuesday that those two corporate defendants could not be held responsible for Robson’s exposure to Jackson, the way a school or the Boy Scouts can be found liable for bringing together an abusive adult and a child victim.

Finaldi said the reasoning sets a dangerous precedent.

“What the judge is saying is that you if own a corporation or a company, you can hire people, use these people to facilitate your sexual abuse, use them to facilitate victims,” Finaldi told The Associated Press by phone. “So long as you’re the sole owner of that corporation, the corporation can’t be held liable.”

Jackson estate attorney Howard Weitzman said in a statement that he “believes the court made the correct decision in dismissing Wade Robson’s claim against it. ”In my opinion Mr. Robson’s allegations, made 20 plus years after they supposedly occurred and years after Mr. Robson testified twice under oath — including in front of a jury — that Michael Jackson had never done anything wrong to him was always about the money rather than a search for the truth.“

Finaldi replied that the Jackson camp’s interest in the truth was “hollow.”

“If someone’s trying to search for the truth, why not let the lawsuit proceed?” Finaldi said. “Why not exonerate him and let a jury decide.”

During the criminal trial, Robson bristled at testimony by other witnesses that they had seen Jackson molest him.

“I’m telling you nothing happened,” Robson testified at the time when a prosecutor challenged him.

Another Robson attorney said when his lawsuit was filed that stress and sexual trauma led Robson to finally accept that he had been molested by Jackson.

Hello,

Can someone post #17624 with a Booommm title in the N&D section, this is a major outcome and something to celebrate and feel we need to spread this as far and wide as possible, which by posting there it will hit all out social media pages and get much more exposure than in here.

Of course continue with this a more in depth thread and once the other has run its course we can merge them.

But this news needs to be pushed out there as its seems not many in the MSM are doing do.

Best,

Michael Jackson Is Finally Free Of All Sex Abuse Cases

Michael Jackson can now rest easy without the burden of his sex abuse cases lingering over him. A judge reportedly dismissed Jackson’s final sex abuse lawsuit filed by choreographer Wade Robson on Tuesday (Dec. 19), according to USA Today. The dismissal comes nearly eight years after the King of Pop passed away in 2009.

Robson reportedly filed the suit in 2013, alleging the singer molested him as a child. Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff reportedly ruled against the now-35-year-old due to the two corporate defendants in the case. Beckloff stated that the remaining defendants were not liable for Robson’s exposure to Jackson, USA Today reports. He did not rule on the credibility of Robson’s allegations however.

Robson's attorney, Vince Finaldi, strongly disagrees with the judge’s ruling and says it sets a dangerous precedent. "What the judge is saying is that you if own a corporation or a company, you can hire people, use these people to facilitate your sexual abuse, use them to facilitate victims," Finaldi said. "So long as you're the sole owner of that corporation, the corporation can't be held liable."

Jackson’s estate attorney Howard Weitzman said in a statement, that he believes the court made the right decision. "In my opinion Mr. Robson's allegations, made 20 plus years after they supposedly occurred and years after Mr. Robson testified twice under oath — including in front of a jury — that Michael Jackson had never done anything wrong to him was always about the money rather than a search for the truth,” Weitzman said.

Michael Jackson was plagued with accusations of sexual abuse for most of his career. The first allegations were made in the summer of 1993. Robson’s dismissed case is the final sex abuse suit brought against the entertainer.

Hopefully a message to all on the money grabbing band-wagon. The ATM is shut for good.

Should be the final end of this mess. It's been established in court for any future wannabees. Can't sue Michael, can't sue the Estate and you can't sue his companies.
That's it.

It's finally over.

Thank you to Judge B he did a excellent job he put the nightmare to rest. Now MJ fans can finally have peace

Wade... Once upon a time I had respect for you! You did a horrible job keeping it..

I hope this shows any other person trying to take advantage of Michael that doing this is a big waist of time, energy, money, and just an embarrassment to ones self.

As much negativity that came from this, I will take this most recent news for the positivist that will come of it! Now if only Wade knew how to go hide somewhere, his ego is too large to let that happen.

This is why Mj couldn't trust anyone. How could he? Every time he let his guard down, he got backstabbed on more than 1 occasion. I'm glad this case is over. Now it's time for Jordan to come out of hiding and tell the truth.

To the person name Raven Woods in those tweets, I will be jubilant and if anyone think this was let go on a "technically" is just a fool. This nonsense has been going on for years (this was no accusation made and let go. It went through the mill and long) and Michael was given no special treatment, not even in death. So again if anyone think that about this case or any case by now about MJ is just plain stupid or a hater. We have the FASTS to back up everything, can a hater back up their beliefs, NOOOOOOO (only with foolness, name calling, and lies).

I agree. I still hold him until he correct his lie. He needs to read the bible about that little red thing we call a tongue that causes heartache that he must pay for. What he did as a child is one thing but he is a GROWN MAN and it is now on HIM.

It is very good that this stupid case is dismissed and I'm sorry to see someone like this kid get so screwed up and eager for money!

He needs man up and confess it all. Otherwise if he doesn’t, he’ll still labelled as spineless coward like he always has and made me wish he’s in jail like he should be ending up.

Very happy it got dismissed.

But I would have liked/hoped the judge to also mention that there are NO proofs of MJ doing anything. - This is a technicallity - law says you have to sue the man - not the companys - and The Estate. - MJ could have been guilty, but becuase of his death his companies and his Estate can not be sued...

I had hoped the judge had also taken the lack of evidence, the lack of credibility of Wade Robson, the fact Wade under oath said MJ never did anything, the fact he is clearly after money etc. etc. into consideration. - That way all others would know they can not make these claims against MJ's companies or his Estate - BUT importantly the judge would also have stated that MJ (of course) was absolutely innocent...

Pop I don't see him ever admitting the truth.. If he does his career would officially be over, and he could be sued.. He's going to tuck into his little corner and pretend this never happened.. Do work that would less likely have Michael being brought up.. Interesting since his career was built on Michaels back!

I understand a little about repressed memories, having actually been molested at the age of five but not recalling the event until my teen years because of hormone surges and such. That said, I never understood how Mr. Robson could testify twice that MJ never did anything to him, only to change his mind after MJ died and try to sue the Estate. Strictly on a surface level, it sounds like Classic Greed 101. Robson was 23 in 2005, so how could he have gone through any more trauma that supposedly resurrected memories of molestation, years after MJ died? I'm no expert on the human mind, but it just doesn't make any sense to me.

He said it wasnt repressed unless he changed his story yet again he claimed he knew all along but thought it was a normal thing to do until he got into his 30's.frankly repressed memory is more believable?

^ And after knowing about Jordan Chanlder and defending him in court in the 00's.. makes "A LOT" of sense.

I do know he hasn't which is proof he's still a coward. Like I've said, I'd rather see his @$$ in jail.

Wade claims that Michael tossed him out of his bed because after 7 year's, starting at age 7, Wade was too old.

Yet, both Jordie and Gavin were 12 when they claim Michael abused them.

No wonder the Judge tossed the Case.

Hess I get your point and can second that feel.. Just to be fair to the judge, IF all of the things mentioned were not considered this would have been tossed long ago. It did not take (how many months/years?) for this to get dropped JUST because Wade sued the company not the man..

A public statement in defense of Michael would be nice though! just to put the word out there that people need to stop trying to profit off of someone without any evidence..
