This festive ad shows the packages breaking into song here, there and everywhere, from the beginning of their journey at Amazon fulfillment centers, along the delivery routes and on to the Amazon Lockers and homes of those excited customers. Commercial Music: Can You Feel It (The Jacksons cover). Artists: Adelphoi Music.
Preview or download The Jacksons original at iTunes, Amazon.
Following on from last years ‘Give a little bit of your love to me’ Christmas ad spot, this 2018 Amazon Holidays commercial song is a cover of Can You Feel It, which was recorded for the campaign by production and composition company Adelphoi Music.

Can You Feel It was originally released in 1981 by The Jackson 5, or as they were known then, The Jacksons. This song was the third single taken from the groups’ fourteenth studio album Triumph. The single only reached number 77 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, but the album made it to number 10 on the Billboard 200. The song was composed and written by Michael Jackson and Jackie Jackson, and has since been covered and remixed by multiple artists. Amazon Holidays – Can You Feel It YouTube ad video release date: November 2, 2018.

Allready saw it today on Austrian TV Channel. Cool in my opinion.

Seen it quite a few times already on TV here in UK. Can only be a good thing, more adverts should use MJ’s music.

Saw the ad in the US as well.

Great exposure for the song. Hope Amazon coughed up a lot of dough for it.

It's on the radio too. Heard one this morning.

Amazon's 2018 Holiday Campaign is here, and sees the return of the singing boxes from 2017's festive campaign - this time around, they're voicing our re-record of The Jacksons' 1981 smash hit 'Can You Feel It?'

Directed by Frederik Bond (Sonny), the films feature a whimsical cast that interacts with more of the Amazon world — Alexa, Amazon Lockers and the warehouse Kiva robots — and fully embraces the spirit of the holiday season.
Adelphoi's Ashley Bates joined forces with conductor-arranger John Clayton (Quincy Jones, Nina Simone, Count Basie, Paul McCartney, Etta James). Together they created a brand new version of the track, recorded with Metropole Orkest at their home in The Netherlands, with a vocal ensemble featuring 13 lead vocalists, a 20 strong tailor-made choir, lead by Sam Chaplin (Choir With No Name, Jazzbomb, Justice For Grenfell).
John Clayton says "The task was to revisit Michael Jackson’s music in a way that would support Adelphoi and Ashley's vision for this project. My closeness to MJ’s producer, Quincy Jones and experience working with him for so many years, gave me enough background to know what needed to be done. Armed with the fabulous Dutch, Metropole Orkest to help me, and after more re-writes than I can recall, we were able to give Ashley what he was looking for. It feels good to have worked so hard on such a fulfilling experience."

I don't know how I feel about it. On one hand it means new fans discovering his music and the Jacksons music. But on the other hand now when I hear the song I will think of this commercial. I often hate when artist lend their music for adverts and show theme songs only because when I hear it I think of the advert or show and it kinda ruins it for me. For instance there is a show on the Discovery Channel in America called Deadliest Catch which is about crab fishing which my husband loves but I can't stand....anyway, their theme song is Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive". I used to love that song and now I can't even listen to it anymore cause it reminds me of that dreadful show. That's my only problem when it comes to artists lending their songs out. But I do see both sides of the coin.

I've heard 'ABC' and 'Never Can Say Goodbye' on commercials this season too!! They were re-recorded by other people.
And yesterday I saw a commercial for Google using "Help"-original Beatles recording.
They must have paid big bucks for that one.
