Was Family Thing inteded to be it's own song?

Did the demo for "Family Thing" ultimately evolve into "Is It Scary?" as some sources have suggested or was it intended to be it's own thing? I really like the demo despite it's rough unfinished state. Is it possible MJ would have contributed more than just one song to the Addams Family Values soundtrack? I know it wouldn't be the first time an artist had more than one exclusive song on a movie soundtrack.
