When discussing MJ's music many people always find he is a limited singer. It baffles me as I think he is the most versatile singer I've heard. His composing always gets forgotten as well, only Quincy and Temperton get the credit for his songs which is not fair.
I think this is because he always worked with a lot of producers looking for the current sound. He should just have done what he feels like doing, he wanted to sound contemporary and score hits.
MJ working with Will I am is a prime example of this.
Everybody rates his performing though.
