It's late as hell and i'm sleepy BUT, here's a throwback group I re-discovered.

i got their 1996 album, No Doubt, because it's primarily produced by one of my fav NJS production duo - The Characters. i haven't heard much else from the group (though i remember a Neptunes track in my files but can't find it right now). that first tune you posted is very nice.

Oh they had that song "Star" from 03'... loved it. :p I deff need to find and cop their album '702'. I luv me some Soulshock and Karlin, and Missy lol.

Oh and I read somewhere that one of the members, Orish, died this year??? Kidney failure, and she was only 27. Yikes :sad:
 
Yeah, Irish (was that her name) died this year. However, I heard that she died of kidney cancer. So sad to hear because I wanted to know what ever happened to them.

I loved that song as well and "I Still Love You". That was the song that year.

yep, that's the one. just had a quick listen to that same '03 album, and found a really cool Dilla-esque track by producer Mario Winans (Trouble) and spotted another Characters cut, which has made me pretty happy, lol.
