so I was wondering, watching the 'Oprah Remembers' episode, she showed the 1993 interview with MJ & she said that prior to that, Michael Jackson never did an interview before? Not in the '80's? Not to promote Thriller, Bad or anything?

Correct me if I am wrong. ; I know that was his and Oprah's first interview, but before that MJ never bothered to sit and talk ?? Then after that- there was Walters, Geraldo, etc...???

He did do interviews. I have seen footage of him answering

questions about his work during the years Oprah said that

he did not do them.

She must have referred to interviews about his life (?) since

MJ answered her to have felt that he had nothing to say.

He did many interviews, but none of them really at this scale. Most were taped he did a few with Molly Meldrum, Tom Joyner on the set of Beat It, an Ebony Jet one from 1987 all of which are on youtube.

But Michael did not go on talk shows to do interviews, he liked the mysterious angle and less is more, it only really did work for MJ as most other stars could not get away with it
