    Default Linux help needed

I have an Asus EeePC netbook that runs the Xandros Linux operating system and I need help upgrading the flash player. I have downloaded the file but how do I install it? I know I have to open terminal and type those commends but it's so confusing. I need someone to explain it to me as if I were a six year old, lol.

Bumping a 5 month old thread...lol, highly doubt you still need the help but ignore that folder and just go the terminal and paste this, it might work...
    sudo apt-get purge swfdec-mozilla
    sudo apt-get purge mozilla-plugin-gnash
    sudo apt-get purge adobe-flashplugin
    sudo apt-get purge flashplugin-nonfree
    rm -f $HOME/.mozilla/plugins/*flash*so
    sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
OR you could forget about Xandros completely and install Ubuntu Netbook edition which is superior (and still a Linux distro).

Wow, I completely forgot about this question I posted, lol. Thanks I will check my netbook to see if I still need flashplayer upgraded (haven't used it in a while) and if so I will give this a try!

One of these days I would like to install Windows on this netbook...
