Hey guys

I'm thinking of seeing Sex and the City at gold class...for $50.00 a pop - I want to know if anyone at all has seen the movie? And whether it is worth it. I'm really in 2 minds...

I haven't seen SATC2 yet but I saw the first one and enjoyed it. It's kind of a fantasy world these women live in. I never watched the TV show except for one time but I wanted to see the first movie because NYC is another character and I love movies that are filmed here. And I was not disappointed. But this SATC sequel takes place in NYC a smaller part of the time. The other portion is in Dubai (actually filmed in Morraco) which is nice but this show was all about NYC so I think they should have stayed here for a greater portion of the movie. Still, I think SATC2 will be a fun movie and can make for a nice girls night out event.

I don't know what gold class is or why you have to pay so much but I would say go and see the movie and have a good time. Just don't pay $50. I don't think any movie is worth that much. Unless you're like these rare SATC women and have money to burn.

I went to see it last night (I LOVE the TV series). It was good fun, but in all honesty I thought the storyline itself was lacking in depth, and lacking a lot of the spark of the TV series... in fact I have no idea how they managed to make the movie three hours long as not that much seems to happen (from my hazy memory)! Also I wish there was more NYC in it as they do spend most of the movie in the UAE.

Still enjoyed it a lot regardless though, it was worth going to get my SATC fix, and for the girls night out entertainment experience and the glamour! Not sure I would go for the luxury cinema package, I've toyed with the idea actually (especially if they were going to serve Cosmopolitans or something ) but then settled for the cheap version and I think I'm quite glad for it.

i didn't watch it yet...but i did watch the series and first movie (which was goood) i dont care for the location of their ''trip'' Abu Dhabi. a movie based on sex in a conservative place. a movie based on fashion but place it where women can't artfully express themselves fashion wise as much as nyc. it only makes the movie even more fictional. i thought i was making a big deal until i read that sex and the city 1 and 2 aren't even shown in the region!

im sure it got bad reviews for a reason. i wish sequels would be made better and not thrown together totally away from the heart and soul..in this case NYC.
