Michael's friend Al Jarreau is very ill.. Pray...

It was reported on July 23, 2010 that Al Jarreau was critically ill at a hospital in France near the French Alps and was being treated for respiratory problems. He had been taken to the intensive care unit at Gap late on July 22, 2010. He was in the area to perform a concert at nearby Barcelonnette. I still remember him singing on We are The World.His voice was very Soulful and Sweet,He was the right fit for that song. May he get well soon to continue to spread his Musical voice and love for those who love his music. He's 70 years Young. Can you believe it. What a Milestone ?

He's ok now but had to cancel 4 shows. The problem was that the place he was to perform was at a high altitude and Al wasn't used to the thinner air. There's a statement on his website: http://www.aljarreau.com/

that's a relief. that guy is a legend. i've heard some of his own great music.

I found out about him last night. Glad to know he's on the mend. I've been seeing the video of his main or possibly only hit I know, the theme to Moonlighting, a lot lately.
