It was after six when Em finally got HOME…
She felt like she was ‘born’ again and
She loved the moment of NOW…
Refreshed with new cosmic energy,
She walked into her HOME…
She instantly felt the wave of
Negative energy washing over her…
“Well…” Her father bellowed.
“What, dad? “
She answered with a huge grin on her face.
“What have you been up to?
I thought you were grounded.”
“I got a job…” she boasted.
“You have what? “ He asked and gawked.
“That’s great, Hun… Where? “
“Great? In such a short notice? “
Her dad acted baffled.
“In the library… I’m the net girl…”
Emily smiled from ear to ear,
just ignoring her dad’s negative wave
rushing through her…
“What the hell is a net girl?
Couldn’t you found a more decent job? “
He protested and sighed.
“I’m the one who controls the net department…
I allow peeps an half an hour of FREE surfing…
I make sure they stick to it and I keep record
Of who ordered a NET session…”
“WOW, that’s cool”
her mum cried and hugged her.
“I’m proud of you, EM”
“MMMM… Cool” her dad muttered.
“You told me to get a job, didn’t yé? “
She dared to speak up.
“I did” he sighed.
“Does it pay well? “
“Enough for 4 hours in a day…
The lady was really impressed with my PC skills…”
“See, I knew you had hidden talents…
I told your dad, it were your friends that had a
Bad influence on you…
He wouldn’t believe me…”
Emily didn’t answer…
For once in her life she felt PROUD.
