“It’s wonderful how many times
You’ve met him? “
Em began.
Aud was drowned in thoughts as
She glared at the out prints…
“Yeah” she answered
With a tear in her eye.
Then, she noticed
what was showing on her comp…
“You’re online here ” she cried.
“Eh, yeah…
I recently got my net back
For being a GOOD girl.”
“Cool” Audrey only replied.
“I don’t know what I should do
without MJJC though…
They are like my ‘life line’ now…
People don’t understand why we ‘mourn’ him…
Michael is like my ‘lost love’ now…
Ripped away from us too soon…
People smirk at me
When I tell them
I FEEL like a ‘war widow’ …
I NEVER had the chance to say Goodbye…
I’m still waiting for July
But I know July will NEVER come again
Cause of that quack that let him die…”
“Yeah… I wish he came to me sooner”
Emily only revealed.
“It must be really hard to miss him…”
“It is… It’s like I’m dead inside…
It’s really awkward to explain…”
“Okay” Em nodded
“I must admit, I don’t know what loss or grief is…
I’m sorry, if that sounds cruel but I’m only 16 and
Before Michael came … The only thing I wanted
To do was party hard and now…
I feel this sadness deep inside of me…
It’s strange to explain too…
I never met the man…
I just liked a few songs…
I didn’t even knew my mum was a fan
But this sudden loss and
My weird dream
Has rocked my world…”
“She’s a nice lady, your mum…
I remember when he rocked my world…
I was only 10 and look at me now,
I’m 37 HUH…
The love you feel for him
Will never cease
Never waiver…
It only gets stronger and deeper
every day, every year, every decade…”
So, Audrey spent hours there in
her ‘Michael room’
chatting about her memories and
Emily was amazed that
ONE person
Could have such a
POSITIVE influence on a person…
She was eager to learn all about that
Gentle SOUL
Who’s ONLY mission on earth was
To bring HAPPINESS where sadness was…
The end of the story
But the NEW beginning of
a wonderful friendship
between Emily (a newbie) and
Audrey ( a fossil)
Both ‘healed and bonded’
By Michael now…
