Of course, this bliss couldn’t last forever
as in the distance, she heard the sirens…
WHY couldn’t they just leave him alone?
Even as ‘statue’ he was haunted and controlled…
She saw the fear rising up in his eyes and
the only thing she could think of doing
was placing her warm hands full of love touching his cheek…
Her warmth strolled through his body and
a strange fuzzy feeling aroused in him…
He was squeaking and the longer she radiated her heat on him,
the more he shrunk to her size, ’till he sat there on the parking lot
with her on his lap now…
There was no time for romance or a polite ‘thank you’ though
as the police sirens were dangerously close now…
Who in heavens name could have stolen the statue…
The way of ‘income’ to this ‘deserted’ Mac along the highway…
By now, the others had joined and
quietly witnessed the transformation…
Without another word spoken, they dragged him to the car and
hid him under the blanket…
Just in time as the police cruisers hit the parking lot…
As they escaped the Mac and cruised on the highway,
one saw the manager heading towards
the Police officer with his hands in the air and
repeatedly pointing at the ‘missing’ statue…
They are not supposed to run off, right?
