He laid there so quiet that Amy was getting a little antsy…
She peeked in only lifting up a little tip of the blanket and
her heart melted as she noticed his glance…
He looked like a little lost boy, trying not even sigh
or he would give himself away…
“Hey, are you okay? “
He only nodded but his eyes told a different story.
“We are almost home, Hun”
the driver told him.
He only smiled and thought of a way to say thank you.
Hesitatingly, he reached out his hand to her and
she took it softly.
“I know, sweetie… You’re save with us now…”
All the way, he didn’t let go of her,
Glancing from beneath the protective cover
He stared into her gaze…
Would they keep him save?
