"You can try to stop me but it won't do a thing
no matter what you do, I'm still gonna be here
Through all your lies and silly games
I'm a still remain the same cause I'm unbreakable"

Time for "Invincible". The long awaited FULL studio album from MJ.
Yeah, 16 BRAND NEW songs and collectable covers.
Published in 2001.

"what will she say?
I was the man that got away"

I'm so glad we had the 'lyric' book back and
the 'collectable' covers were a nice 'frivolity' to have.
I really like this album with like 'grown up' numbers on it.
It had to 'grow' on me a bit cause of the 'beats' and
nature of the songs like 'Break of dawn' and 'Butterflies'.

"Kiss and touch, nothing much, let it blow just touch and go"

Michael has always been a pioneer hey so I know that
he put his heart and soul in this one again.
I remember that the first song I heard from the album was
'Heartbreaker'. Well, it 'glued' my heart together though lol.
It has that 'infectious' melody that is stuck in your head and
keeps you nice for days on end.

"Deceitful eyes, she's got those come and get me thighs"

I think, its really sad what $ony did.
You know, lack of promo and and stuff.
Exactly, I'm glad they did the 'collectable' covers cause
usually CD's are 'unbreakable', right?
Well, I do have a few that don't play anymore.
No, I didn't throw them around the room in anger and frustration.
I think its just the quality of the CD they used cause
I never experienced it with any other MJ CD.

Anyway that aside, It should have gotten the 'glow' it deserved and
I hope this review will give its shine.
Once again, this album sustained me through life's challenges.
Like 'Unbreakable' is like an anthem.

"You can try to stop me but it won't do a thing
no matter what you do, I'm still gonna be here
Through all your lies and silly games
I'm a still remain the same cause I'm unbreakable"

The lyrics really hits you in the core and it ranges from
"Don't mess with me" to the softer 'ballads'

"Tell the angels no, I don't wanna leave my baby alone."

When I do reviews, this bittersweet memory always hits me.
Michael did indeed reach the point of 'immortality' cause
he bound his soul to his art.
His voice and soul lives on in these songs.

"Your love is magical that is how I feel"

I simply don't get why critics always refer to the other albums and
simply ignore this one.
It's a masterpiece that deserves recognition cause
it simply holds the essence of Michael Jackson.
Resilient yet gentle
Emo but not corny
Excited though not scary

In my humble opinion, the last REAL Michael Jackson album that
we got from the Master himself.

"Whatever happens, don't let go of my hand"
