"Have you seen"

They say lyrics reveal pieces of your soul
if only the listeners would learn about
the real human being hidden behind his fame.
#TopicOfToday is #RetrospectiveSong
Pop in and discover.
"Have you seen my childhood? "
It's an honest plea to be understood as this is all what we desire, right?
It doesn't matter if you're a Celebrity or not.
They are as 'human' as we are with feelings and aspirations.
They hurt and seek the same as us.
Only to be 'loved'.
So, #TopicOfToday is #RetrospectiveSong or simply
as the thread below reveals
"What do you think is MJ's most retrospective song? "
The one that reflects most on MJ?
The one he wants people to remember?
I know the answer to the last question would be "Earth Song"
which is a very important message too but besides
"Childhood" is the ultimate #RetrospectiveSong of MJ and
not only cause he said it himself in an interview once.
Just take a moment to read between the lines of the lyrics.
"No one understands me
They view it as such a strange eccentricities
cause I keep kidding around like a child but pardon me
People say I'm not okay
cause I love such a elementary things
It's been my fate to compensate
for the childhood I've never known"
These heartfelt lyrics reveals his soul really and
what he wants the world to know.
We as merely 'mortal souls' can't comprehend
the trials and the suffering that Child stars
have to endure only to please and entertain
the general public and the ones with the big bucks
who only think of fame and fortune.
So the following lines are both endearing and
heartbreaking to be sung by such a gentle person
as MJ who only wanted to be loved and understood.
"Before you judge me try hard to love me
Look within your heart and ask
Have you seen my childhood "

"I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates in adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and Kings on the throne"
