It was a regular day at mom's house until she collasped on the kitchen floor. She suffered a major heart attack, The EMTS were able to bring her back, had they not done CPR she would've died right there in the kitchen.
The doctors told my siblings that my mother wouldn't make it through the night. They had to put her in a coma to reduce the swelling in her brain, Her swelling has gone down. She did open one of her eyes and try to move her head.
As of the writing of this blog they are giving her until friday, after that we as a family may have to take her off life support if there is no change.
Please pray for my mother thank you.
As of right now, I'm hearing two different things (1) My mom's condition hasn't changed, they want us to have another family meeting to see if she should be taken off life support and (2) They took her off the breathing machine because she was breathing in her own.
She has been taken off life support, she is breathing on her own. Only Time will tell. The doctors will call us when her heart stops.
Today, 4/10/12- My mother took her last breath, she died between 12:00 and 12:26 am
I would like to take this time to thank every single member of MJJC. Without you guys I don't think I'd be handling this the way I am.
