HISTORICAL DATES
1979 – The Jacksons perform their Destiny Tour at Carre Theater in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
1983 - Beat It enters the Pop Singles Chart and Michael is on the cover of Record Mirror magazine.
1984 - Michael attends a premiere of 2 Jackson Pepsi commercials at a black-tie Convention for 1000 Pepsi bottlers at New York City’s Lincoln Center. The event was held a month after his burn accident and Michael appeared on stage with Alfonso Ribeiro who also appeared in the commercials with Michael. Alfonso later went on to play in the Broadway musical 'The Tap Dance Kid" and Carlton on the TV Hit "Fresh Prince of Belair" Michael still healing from his wound performed and danced on stage with Alberto.

1997 - Earth Song" is one of the nominees for the "Best Short Form Music Video" At the 39th Grammy Awards held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
