1971 - The single "Mama's Pearl," by the Jackson 5, hit #2 in the U.S.

1980 - Michael Jackson wins the Best R & B Vocal Performance, Male award for Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough at the 22nd Annual Grammy Awards. The award was his first Grammy.

1984 - Michael & Brooke Shields are on the cover of Jet magazine

1984 - The 2 new Jackson Pepsi commercials are previewed for free on MTV as part of a Bob Giraldi documentary. Mr. Giraldi was director of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" short film and Paul McCartney's "Say Say Say" with Michael and the Pepsi commercials. He discusses each, as well as the accident when Michael's hair caught on fire.

1989 - Michael Is on the cover of Jet magazine.

1997 - ABC-TV aired "Happy Birthday, Elizabeth." Michael Jackson had performed "Elizabeth I love You" on the show that was taped on February 16, 1997.

2009 Michael goes shopping with Christian Audigier in L.A. When questioned, Christian states Michael was buying wardrobe for his upcoming visit to London and Press conference to announce his TII tour.

Happy birthday Elizabeth.

Michael can't even go out to buy something without the media flashing those lights in his eyes. I had to laugh at his answer of "some nice things," when asked what he bought. I guess that is a polite way of saying non of your business.

Thanks for posting that MTV previews 2 Jackson Pepsi adds as part of a Bob Giraldi documentary 1984 document, I hadn't seen it before. I like Bob, he seems to be genuinely nice person.
I liked when he said when Michael touched back people who touched him during their trip to some bar:
"that was the first time I saw some sort of mystical thing happen between him and people"

Last week I watched document about Lionel Richie, Dancing on the Ceiling and Bob Giraldi was in it.
He had only good words and respect towards Michael.
