Original MJ symbol/logo question

Do you know by chance whatever happen to the original MJ symbol? Why the Estate don't use it? I've read many years ago someone bought it but I didn't understand why and I couldn't find the info again. If it's not the first symbol/logo, please correct me.

I honestly don't like the current one, it looks kind of lame and unartistic. I prefer this one because it was original, looked more like work of art and it seems it is/was very popular tattoo among the fans. I miss it!

I think Dieter Weisner owns the right to it.
