This news actually comes from Pearl Jr., who in the past has interviewed Thomas Mesereau, Joe Jackson, Linda Deutsch, etc. and says that the information actually came from Jesse Jackson himself at a speech. It doesn't necessarily make this true, but it gives much more credibility to it than had it just been anonymously posted to MJStar.

At the Inaugural Breakfast for the National Academy of Media Arts & Sciences (NAMAS), the Reverend Jesse Jackson was the keynote speaker about the need to diversify the media stating, “too few control too much media”, which means the control of information is becoming more and more single-minded. Rev. Jackson is meeting with the FCC in the coming days to discuss expanding media ownership to include more ethnic voices. It was during his speech, he told the audience that he will be having a birthday party and that Michael Jackson will be his special guest. This event will take place on November 8th in Los Angeles.

Okay, so I'll make a post, lol. I actually haven't commented on this particular event at any other boards, so this'll be my first post on it. Michael looked fantastic, no surprise there though, he's been looking so amazing since he did the Vogue photo shoot. Larry King looked liked he was gonna cream himself, lol. It was sweet how Michael led everyone to sing Happy Birthday. Its so interesting how everyone there wanted to be so close to Michael, holding his hand like they were his date, lol, standing right up on him, haha and posing. If that doesn't prove that Michael is still the most sought after, talked about, popular and famous celebrity, then nothing does. He's THE man, its proven by the way people gather around him and want to be near him. Its that unparalleled Michael Jackson aura. He just draws people to him, just by being him! He's special.

I'm going down to get a copy of Ebony tomarrow, its finally gonna hit newstands nationwide.

I love the pics they are awesome and Michael does look great
and yes you could tell everone was drawn to him - even the press
was favorable to Michael here .. there are some very sweet pics
of him smiling and looking very relaxed - I think he genuinly had
a good time.

Berry Gordy, Don Cornelius and Jesse Jackson, all three men have known Michael since he was a child. It was good to see them all there and still looking good.

When i watched the video of MJ singing Happy Birthday his voice sounded great i'm auctaly looking forward to seeing how it sounds when the new Album is released
