The Girl Is Mine 2008 has entered the UK chart at number 78 in its first week and is at 44 in its second week due to downloads alone.

This song received virtually no airplay in its first week of digital release, but it did start to gain ground in the second week.

I started a request thread a while ago but it wasn't very popular and it seems that not even the people here care enough to get it played, which is a shame.

REQUEST INFORMATION:

I'm going to list some information for requesting the song on UK radio stations.

Some stations have already played the single, but it has not made any more playlists (other than those listed above) as far as I know and so will not get too many spins. To increase the airplay we need to convince the stations that they should playlist the song. The only way to do that is to request, request, request.

Anybody from any country can request though, so give it a go.

If anybody wants to add more contact information to the thread I'll move it to the top when I see it.

Yeah lets push this and get the single to top ten, it will be g8 if it gets to top ten and stays there for at least two weeks or more tho'.

I requested it on KISS FM and it was played about half an hour later. It's apity nobody else on the boards seems bothered about Thriller 25 being successful. If this flops then it reflects badly on Mike and the new album.
I'm sure the purpose of this release is to remind people of Mike's success and to remind them about the music rather than allegations or crazy stories, so it is worth supporting. But then it seems Mike can't be bothered himself.
