Now here is what is wrong with today's music industry. Check this guy out. His name is Javier. He writes his own material and he is an awesome singer, he's good looking, etc... and yet, almost nobody even know's he exsists, he gets absolutely zero exposure in the main stream, he's opening for a two-bit act like Josh Stone when he should be headlining, and basically has just gotten put on the back burner, while joker acts like Akon, Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown get massive exposure and air play and are all over every magazine cover. This guy is talented, and he's no where to be found. It just goes to show that talent isn't a priority in the industry anymore. 20 years ago, this guy would have been a big star, but not today. See, they still sign talent, and there have always been fluff acts, but the difference between today and yesteryear is that, it was the truly talented that sold the most and got the most exposure and were lauded, while today, it is the truly talented who get no attention at all, and the fluff acts sell all the records and recieve all the promotion and get the effing Grammys.

never heard of him, though i can't say his situation is as big an injustice as so so so many underground talents that really deserve to have their voices heard. so i hear you on that issue..

Yeah, but only one, lol. It happens to a lot of talented people today, sadly. They dot' get the exposure while the assembley line acts do, just sad.
